< Galatians 1 >

1 Paul, an apostle (not from humans, nor through humans, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead),
Pọl, onyeozi, na-abụghị site na nhọpụta nke mmadụ maọbụ site nʼike nke mmadụ, kama ọ bụ site nʼaka Jisọs Kraịst na Chineke Nna, onye mere ka ọ site nʼọnwụ bilie.
2 and all the brothers who are with me, to the churches of Galatia:
Ndị ụmụnna niile ndị mụ na ha nọ nʼebe a, Na-edegara nzukọ niile dị na Galeshịa.
3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ,
Ka amara na udo nke sitere na Chineke Nna anyị, na Onyenwe anyị Jisọs Kraịst dịrị unu.
4 who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father— (aiōn g165)
Onye nyere onwe ya nʼihi mmehie anyị niile dị ka nzube Chineke bụ Nna anyị si dị, ịzọpụta anyị site nʼoge ọjọọ a nke anyị bi nʼime ya. (aiōn g165)
5 to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Onye otuto dịịrị ruo mgbe niile ebighị ebi. Amen. (aiōn g165)
6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you by the grace of Christ to a different "good news";
O juru m anya, na unu esitela nʼebe onye ahụ kpọrọ unu site nʼamara Kraịst wezuga onwe unu, na-agbaso oziọma ọzọ,
7 and there is not another "good news." Only there are some who trouble you, and want to pervert the Good News of Christ.
nke na-abụghị oziọma. O doro anya na ụfọdụ mmadụ na-etinye unu nʼọnọdụ mgbagwoju anya, mgbe ha na-agbalị ịgbanwe oziọma nke Kraịst.
8 But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a "good news" other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed.
A sikwa na ọ bụ anyị onwe anyị maọbụ mmụọ ozi nke sitere nʼeluigwe bịara kwusaara unu oziọma ọzọ, nke dị iche na nke anyị bụrụ ụzọ kwusaara unu, ka onye dị otu a bụrụ onye abụrụ ọnụ.
9 As we have said before, so I now say again: if anyone preaches to you a "good news" other than that which you received, let him be cursed.
10 For am I now seeking the favor of people, or of God? Or am I striving to please people? For if I were still pleasing people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
Ugbu a, ana m agbalị ime ka m bụrụ onye ndị mmadụ maọbụ Chineke ga-anabata? Ka m na-agbalị ime ihe ga-atọ ndị mmadụ ụtọ? Nʼihi na a sị na m na-eme ihe na-atọ ndị mmadụ ụtọ, agaraghị m abụ ohu Kraịst.
11 But I make known to you, brothers, concerning the Good News which was preached by me, that it is not of human origin.
Ụmụnna m, achọrọ m ime ka unu mata, na oziọma ahụ m kwusaara unu abụghị ihe mmadụ chepụtara nʼuche ya.
12 For neither did I receive it from a human, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ.
Nʼihi na anataghị m ya site nʼaka mmadụ ọbụla, ọ dịkwaghị onye ọbụla ziri m ya, kama ọ bụ Jisọs Kraịst nʼonwe ya bụ onye kpughere ya nye m.
13 For you have heard of my former way of life in Judaism, how I severely persecuted the church of God, and tried to destroy it.
Amara m na unu anụla ihe banyere ndụ m nʼoge gara aga, nʼofufe ndị Juu, na otu m si jiri ike kpagbuo nzukọ Chineke nʼebe niile, ma gbalịsiekwa ike ibibi ya.
14 I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
Abụ m otu nʼime ndị amaara aha ha nʼetiti ndị ọgbọ m, nʼihe banyere ofufe ndị Juu. Nʼihi oke ịnụ ọkụ nʼobi nke m nwere ịgbaso na idebezu ụkpụrụ omenaala na ofufe, nke nna nna m ha.
15 But when God, who had set me apart from my mother's womb and called me through his grace, was pleased
Ma mgbe ọ tọrọ Chineke ụtọ, bụ onye kewapụrụ m iche tupu amụọ m, kpọọ m site nʼamara ya,
16 to reveal his Son to me, that I might preach him among those who are not Jewish, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood,
ikpughe Ọkpara ya nʼime m, ka m nwe ike kwusaa ihe banyere ya nʼetiti ndị mba ọzọ, e jekwurughị m anụ ahụ ọbụla ịnụta ihe ọbụla nʼaka ya.
17 nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia. Then I returned to Damascus.
Ejekwaghị m Jerusalem ịhụ ndị ahụ bu m ụzọ bụrụ ndị ozi, kama a gara m Arebịa, ma laghachikwa azụ na Damaskọs.
18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Cephas and get information from him, and stayed with him fifteen days.
Ọ bụ mgbe afọ atọ gasịrị, ka m gara Jerusalem ịhụ Sefas. Anọnyekwara m ya ụbọchị iri na ise.
19 But of the other apostles I saw no one, except James, the Lord's brother.
Ma ọ dịkwaghị onyeozi ọzọ m hụrụ, ma ọ bụghị naanị Jemis, nwanne Onyenwe anyị.
20 Now about the things which I write to you, look, before God, I'm not lying.
Ana m agwa unu okwu a nʼihu Chineke. Ihe ndị a m na-ekwu abụghị okwu ụgha.
21 Then I came to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.
Emesịa, agara m Siria na Silisia.
22 I was still unknown by face to the churches of Judea which were in Christ,
Ma ndị Kraịst nọ na chọọchị niile dị nʼala Judịa amaghị onye m bụ.
23 but they only heard: "He who once persecuted us now preaches the faith that he once tried to destroy."
Naanị ihe ha na-ekwu bụ, “Onye ahụ na-esogbu anyị na mbụ na-ekwusazi ugbu a okwukwe ahụ ọ gbalịsịrị ike ibibi na mbụ.”
24 And they glorified God because of me.
Ha nyere Chineke otuto nʼihi m.
