Ephesians 2

1 You were made alive when you were dead in your transgressions and sins,

ਪੁਰਾ ਯੂਯਮ੍ ਅਪਰਾਧੈਃ ਪਾਪੈਸ਼੍ਚ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਤਾਃ ਸਨ੍ਤਸ੍ਤਾਨ੍ਯਾਚਰਨ੍ਤ ਇਹਲੋਕਸ੍ਯ ਸੰਸਾਰਾਨੁਸਾਰੇਣਾਕਾਸ਼ਰਾਜ੍ਯਸ੍ਯਾਧਿਪਤਿਮ੍ (aiōn g165)

2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience; (aiōn g165)

ਅਰ੍ਥਤਃ ਸਾਮ੍ਪ੍ਰਤਮ੍ ਆਜ੍ਞਾਲਙ੍ਘਿਵੰਸ਼ੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਕਰ੍ੰਮਕਾਰਿਣਮ੍ ਆਤ੍ਮਾਨਮ੍ ਅਨ੍ਵਵ੍ਰਜਤ|

3 among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.

ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਵਯਮਪਿ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਸ਼ਰੀਰਸ੍ਯ ਮਨਸ੍ਕਾਮਨਾਯਾਞ੍ਚੇਹਾਂ ਸਾਧਯਨ੍ਤਃ ਸ੍ਵਸ਼ਰੀਰਸ੍ਯਾਭਿਲਾਸ਼਼ਾਨ੍ ਆਚਰਾਮ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ(ਅ)ਨ੍ਯ ਇਵ ਚ ਸ੍ਵਭਾਵਤਃ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਭਜਨਾਨ੍ਯਭਵਾਮ|

4 But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us,

ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਕਰੁਣਾਨਿਧਿਰੀਸ਼੍ਵਰੋ ਯੇਨ ਮਹਾਪ੍ਰੇਮ੍ਨਾਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਦਯਿਤਵਾਨ੍

5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸ੍ਵਪ੍ਰੇਮ੍ਨੋ ਬਾਹੁਲ੍ਯਾਦ੍ ਅਪਰਾਧੈ ਰ੍ਮ੍ਰੁʼਤਾਨਪ੍ਯਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੇਨ ਸਹ ਜੀਵਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਯਤੋ(ਅ)ਨੁਗ੍ਰਹਾਦ੍ ਯੂਯੰ ਪਰਿਤ੍ਰਾਣੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਤਾਃ|

6 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

ਸ ਚ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੇਨ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਨਾਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਤੇਨ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧਮ੍ ਉੱਥਾਪਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਸ੍ਵਰ੍ਗ ਉਪਵੇਸ਼ਿਤਵਾਂਸ਼੍ਚ|

7 that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus; (aiōn g165)

ਇੱਥੰ ਸ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੇਨ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਨਾਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਸ੍ਵਹਿਤੈਸ਼਼ਿਤਯਾ ਭਾਵਿਯੁਗੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਸ੍ਵਕੀਯਾਨੁਗ੍ਰਹਸ੍ਯਾਨੁਪਮੰ ਨਿਧਿੰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਯਿਤੁਮ੍ ਇੱਛਤਿ| (aiōn g165)

8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

ਯੂਯਮ੍ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹਾਦ੍ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸੇਨ ਪਰਿਤ੍ਰਾਣੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਤਾਃ, ਤੱਚ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਨ੍ਮੂਲਕੰ ਨਹਿ ਕਿਨ੍ਤ੍ਵੀਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯੈਵ ਦਾਨੰ,

9 not of works, that no one would boast.

ਤਤ੍ ਕਰ੍ੰਮਣਾਂ ਫਲਮ੍ ਅਪਿ ਨਹਿ, ਅਤਃ ਕੇਨਾਪਿ ਨ ਸ਼੍ਲਾਘਿਤਵ੍ਯੰ|

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

ਯਤੋ ਵਯੰ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਕਾਰ੍ੱਯੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਗ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੇਣ ਨਿਰੂਪਿਤਾਭਿਃ ਸਤ੍ਕ੍ਰਿਯਾਭਿਃ ਕਾਲਯਾਪਨਾਯ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੇ ਯੀਸ਼ੌ ਤੇਨ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਾਸ਼੍ਚ|

11 Therefore remember that once you, the non-Jews in the flesh, who are called "uncircumcision" by that which is called "circumcision," (in the flesh, made by hands);

ਪੁਰਾ ਜਨ੍ਮਨਾ ਭਿੰਨਜਾਤੀਯਾ ਹਸ੍ਤਕ੍ਰੁʼਤੰ ਤ੍ਵਕ੍ਛੇਦੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਤੈ ਰ੍ਲੋਕੈਸ਼੍ਚਾੱਛਿੰਨਤ੍ਵਚ ਇਤਿਨਾਮ੍ਨਾ ਖ੍ਯਾਤਾ ਯੇ ਯੂਯੰ ਤੈ ਰ੍ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿਰਿਦੰ ਸ੍ਮਰ੍ੱਤਵ੍ਯੰ

12 that you were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

ਯਤ੍ ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਸਮਯੇ ਯੂਯੰ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਾਦ੍ ਭਿੰਨਾ ਇਸ੍ਰਾਯੇਲਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਸਹਵਾਸਾਦ੍ ਦੂਰਸ੍ਥਾਃ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਜ੍ਞਾਸਮ੍ਬਲਿਤਨਿਯਮਾਨਾਂ ਬਹਿਃ ਸ੍ਥਿਤਾਃ ਸਨ੍ਤੋ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਰੀਸ਼੍ਵਰਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਜਗਤ੍ਯਾਧ੍ਵਮ੍ ਇਤਿ|

13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

ਕਿਨ੍ਤ੍ਵਧੁਨਾ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੇ ਯੀਸ਼ਾਵਾਸ਼੍ਰਯੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਯ ਪੁਰਾ ਦੂਰਵਰ੍ੱਤਿਨੋ ਯੂਯੰ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਸ਼ੋਣਿਤੇਨ ਨਿਕਟਵਰ੍ੱਤਿਨੋ(ਅ)ਭਵਤ|

14 For he is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of partition,

ਯਤਃ ਸ ਏਵਾਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਸਨ੍ਧਿਃ ਸ ਦ੍ਵਯਮ੍ ਏਕੀਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਾਨ੍ ਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੁਤਾਰੂਪਿਣੀਂ ਮਧ੍ਯਵਰ੍ੱਤਿਨੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੇਦਕਭਿੱਤਿੰ ਭਗ੍ਨਵਾਨ੍ ਦਣ੍ਡਾਜ੍ਞਾਯੁਕ੍ਤੰ ਵਿਧਿਸ਼ਾਸ੍ਤ੍ਰੰ ਸ੍ਵਸ਼ਰੀਰੇਣ ਲੁਪ੍ਤਵਾਂਸ਼੍ਚ|

15 having abolished in the flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace;

ਯਤਃ ਸ ਸਨ੍ਧਿੰ ਵਿਧਾਯ ਤੌ ਦ੍ਵੌ ਸ੍ਵਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਏਕੰ ਨੁਤਨੰ ਮਾਨਵੰ ਕਰ੍ੱਤੁੰ

16 and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by which he put to death their enmity.

ਸ੍ਵਕੀਯਕ੍ਰੁਸ਼ੇ ਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੁਤਾਂ ਨਿਹਤ੍ਯ ਤੇਨੈਵੈਕਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਸ਼ਰੀਰੇ ਤਯੋ ਰ੍ਦ੍ਵਯੋਰੀਸ਼੍ਵਰੇਣ ਸਨ੍ਧਿੰ ਕਾਰਯਿਤੁੰ ਨਿਸ਼੍ਚਤਵਾਨ੍|

17 He came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near.

ਸ ਚਾਗਤ੍ਯ ਦੂਰਵਰ੍ੱਤਿਨੋ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਨਿਕਟਵਰ੍ੱਤਿਨੋ (ਅ)ਸ੍ਮਾਂਸ਼੍ਚ ਸਨ੍ਧੇ ਰ੍ਮਙ੍ਗਲਵਾਰ੍ੱਤਾਂ ਜ੍ਞਾਪਿਤਵਾਨ੍|

18 For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.

ਯਤਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਮਾਦ੍ ਉਭਯਪਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੀਯਾ ਵਯਮ੍ ਏਕੇਨਾਤ੍ਮਨਾ ਪਿਤੁਃ ਸਮੀਪੰ ਗਮਨਾਯ ਸਾਮਰ੍ਥ੍ਯੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ|

19 So then you are no longer foreigners and noncitizens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God,

ਅਤ ਇਦਾਨੀਂ ਯੂਯਮ੍ ਅਸਮ੍ਪਰ੍ਕੀਯਾ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਿਨਸ਼੍ਚ ਨ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਨਤਃ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਲੋਕੈਃ ਸਹਵਾਸਿਨ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਵੇਸ਼੍ਮਵਾਸਿਨਸ਼੍ਚਾਧ੍ਵੇ|

20 being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone;

ਅਪਰੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਾ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਦ੍ਵਾਦਿਨਸ਼੍ਚ ਯਤ੍ਰ ਭਿੱਤਿਮੂਲਸ੍ਵਰੂਪਾਸ੍ਤਤ੍ਰ ਯੂਯੰ ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਮੂਲੇ ਨਿਚੀਯਧ੍ਵੇ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਚ ਸ੍ਵਯੰ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਃ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਃ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਃ ਕੋਣਸ੍ਥਪ੍ਰਸ੍ਤਰਃ|

21 in whom the whole building, fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord;

ਤੇਨ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਸ੍ਨਾ ਨਿਰ੍ੰਮਿਤਿਃ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਥ੍ਯਮਾਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੋਃ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰੰ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰੰ ਭਵਿਤੁੰ ਵਰ੍ੱਧਤੇ|

22 in whom you also are built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.

ਯੂਯਮਪਿ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਥ੍ਯਮਾਨਾ ਆਤ੍ਮਨੇਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਵਾਸਸ੍ਥਾਨੰ ਭਵਥ|
