< Acts 5 >

1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sappirah, his wife, sold a possession,
Vayi mutu wumosi dizina diandi Anania, va kimosi ayi nketoꞌandi Safila basumbisa tsolꞌawu.
2 and kept back part of the price, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part, and put it at the apostles' feet.
Vayi bu kawizana ayi nketoꞌandi, Anania wusueka ndambu yi zimbongo ziozi kasumbisila tsola. Bosi wunata ndambu yinkaka kuidi bamvuala.
3 But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
Piela wunkamba: —A Anania! Bila mbi Satana kawadidi mu ntimꞌaku e? Vunini Pheve Yinlongo, suekidi ndambu yi zimbongo ziozi sumbisidi tsolꞌaku e?
4 While you kept it, did not it remain your own? After it was sold, was not it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to people, but to God."
Tuamina wusumbisa tsola beni, yisi ba yaku veka ko e? Bosi ku nzimunina bu wumeni kuyisumbisa, wulendi sadila zimbongo beni ko boso buzodidi e? Buna buevi bakidi lukanu luvangila diambu di phila yayi e? Bika sia ti batu vunini vayi Nzambi vunini!
5 Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and died. Great fear came on all who heard it.
Anania bu kamana wa mambu mama, wubua va tsi ayi wufua. Batu boso bobo bawa diambu beni bamona boma.
6 The young men arose and wrapped him up, and they carried him out and buried him.
Matoko mayiza zinga mvumbi, manata yawu ku nganda bosi mayenda kuyizika.
7 About three hours later, his wife, not knowing what had happened, came in.
Nduka-nduka zithangu zitatu zivioka bosi nketoꞌandi wuyiza kota, mukambu zaba mambu mavioka.
8 Peter answered her, "Tell me whether you sold the land for so much." She said, "Yes, for so much."
Piela wunyuvula: —Wutsudikisa: yawu yoyi thalu lusumbisididi tsolꞌeno e? Niandi wumvutudila: —Mu thalu yoyi kaka!
9 But Peter asked her, "How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out."
Bosi Piela wunkamba: —A bila mbi luwizinini mu diambu di tota Pheve yi Pfumu e? Tala batu bobo babedi ku zika bakala diaku badi va muelo ayi ngeyo mamvaku, beka ku nata.
10 She fell down immediately at his feet, and died. The young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.
Muna thangu yina wubua va malu ma Piela ayi wufua. Matoko bu mavutuka mammona wufua. Mannata ayi manzika vana ndambu bakala diandi.
11 Great fear came on the whole church, and on all who heard these things.
Mambu mama mamonisa basi dibundu tsisi yiwombo ayi batu boso bobo bawa mambu beni.
12 By the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. They were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.
Bamvuala zivanga bikumu ayi bidimbu biwombo va khatitsika batu. Babo baba kifu kikutakananga ku velanda yi Solomo.
13 None of the rest dared to join them, however the people honored them.
Kadi mutu wunkaka kasia fubana yawu ko, muaki batu baba kuba niemisanga ngolo.
14 More believers were added to the Lord, crowds of both men and women.
Vayi babakala ayi baketo bawombo bawilukila Pfumu ayi babuelama.
15 They even carried out the sick into the streets, and put them on cots and mats, so that as Peter came by at the least his shadow would fall on some of them.
Buna batu baba natina bambevo bawombo mu ziphambu zi zinzila; bazitula va zikhuala ayi mu biphoyi muingi Piela bu kamvioka, kitsuisula kiandi kibua vadi bambevo bankaka.
16 Crowds also came together from the cities around Jerusalem, bringing sick people, and those who were tormented by unclean spirits: and they were all healed.
Batu bawombo baba kuizanga, baba mu mavula mafikimini Yelusalemi; banata bambevo ziawu ayi banata batu baba yamusu kuidi ziphevi zimbimbi. Baboso babeluka.
17 But the high priest rose up, and all those who were with him (which is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with jealousy,
Pfumu yi zinganga Nzambi ayi batu bandi boso va kimosi ayi basi dikabu di Basaduki; bamona kikhenene
18 and laid hands on the apostles, and put them in public custody.
bakanga bamvuala ayi babakotisa mu nloko wunneni.
19 But an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors by night, and brought them out, and said,
Vayi mbasi yi Pfumu yiyiza va builu, yizibula mielo mi nloko ayi yitotula bamvuala,
20 "Go stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life."
buna yiba kamba: —Yendanu ku Nzo Nzambi, lulonga batu malongi ma luzingu lualu.
21 When they heard this, they entered into the temple about daybreak, and taught. But the high priest came, and those who were with him, and called the council together, and all the elders of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.
Bu bawa bobo, mu nsuka-nsuka bayenda ku nzo Nzambi, batona longa! Pfumu yi zinganga Nzambi ayi batu bandi batumisa batu ba lukutukunu lu minyadi ayi bakulutu boso ba Iseli. Buna batuma batu benda landi bamvuala mu nloko.
22 But the officers who came did not find them in the prison. They returned and reported,
Vayi minsungi bu miyenda tula kuna nloko, misia bamona ko mu nloko. Mivutuka ayi mituba:
23 "We found the prison shut and locked, and the guards standing before the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside."
—Tuenda bata nloko widi wukangama ayi minsungi mi nloko buna mitelimini va mielo. Vayi bu tuzibudi kadi mutu wumosi tuisi mona ko!
24 Now when the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these words, they were very perplexed about them and what might become of this.
Thangu pfumu yi minsungi mi Nzo Nzambi ayi pfumu yi zinganga Nzambi bawa mambu mama, basia zaba ko mbi bivanga. Bayindula kani buevi bu kuiza sukila Nsamu wawu.
25 One came and told them, "Look, the men whom you put in prison are in the temple, standing and teaching the people."
Vana vawu mutu wumosi wuyiza ku bakamba: —Batu bobo lukotisa mu nloko badi muna Nzo Nzambi, balembo longi!
26 Then the captain went with the officers, and brought them without violence, for they were afraid that the people might stone them.
Pfumu yi minsungi mi Nzo Nzambi wuyenda va kimosi ayi masodi mandi kuna nzo Nzambi. Wunata bamvuala ku lukutukunu lu minyadi, bika sia ti mu kingolo bila boma baba mona mu diambu di batu bedi kuba zuba matadi.
27 When they had brought them, they set them before the council. The high priest questioned them,
Bu baba nata, baba tula va ntuala lukutukunu lu monyadi bosi Pfumu yi zinganga Nzambi wuba yuvula:
28 saying, "Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man's blood on us."
—Tulukandika lubika buela longilanga mu dizina di mutu wuna. Vayi tala malongi meno mameni tembakana mu Yelusalemi dioso, bosi lutidi beto tunata nkanu wu lufua lu mutu wuna e?
29 But Peter and the apostles answered, "We must obey God rather than people.
Vayi Piela ayi bamvuala bavutula: —Bulutidi mboti mu tumukina Nzambi vayi bika batu.
30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you killed, hanging him on a tree.
Nzambi yi bakulu beto wufulukisa Yesu beni mu bafua. Yesu diodi luvondisa bu lumbanda va nti.
31 God exalted him with his right hand to be a Leader and a Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
Vayi Nzambi wunnangika bu kamvuandisa va koko kuandi ku lubakala banga Pfumu ayi Mvulusi mu diambu di basi Iseli babalula mavanga ayi balemvokolo mu masumu.
32 We are witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him."
Beto tuidi bambangi ba mambu mama va kimosi ayi Pheve Yinlongo yoyi Nzambi kavana kuidi batu beti kuntumimina.
33 But they, when they heard this, were furious, and wanted to kill them.
Vayi bawu bu bawa mambu momo, bafuema ngolo; bawizana mu diambu di baba vondisa.
34 But one stood up in the council, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the Law, honored by all the people, and commanded to put the men out for a little while.
Vayi mfalisi wumosi mu dikabu di lukutukunu lu minyadi, dizina diandi Ngamalieli, wuba nlongi wu Mina; wuba kinzukungu kuidi batu boso, wutelama va khatitsika lukutukunu minyadi; wuvana lutumunu batotula bamvuala ku nganda mu ndambu thangu.
35 He said to them, "You men of Israel, be careful concerning these men, what you are about to do.
Buna wuba kamba: —A beno basi Iseli, lulubuka mu diambu di batu baba ayi talanu mambu mbi lutidi kuba vangila.
36 For before these days Todah rose up, making himself out to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were dispersed, and came to nothing.
Bila mu bilumbu kuandi bibedi, mutu wumosi wutotuka, dizina diandi Tewudasi wuzola kukimonisa mutu wu minsua. Nduka-nduka zikhama ziya zi batu banlandakana. Vayi bu kavondo, buna batu bandi boso baba kuntumukinanga basasukusu. Dingumba diandi disia buela wakakana ko.
37 After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the enrollment, and drew away some people after him. He also perished, and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered abroad.
Niandi bu kavioka, mu thangu yiba disasama, Yuda muisi Ngalili wutotuka. Niandi mamvandi wuvitumuna batu bawombo mu diambu batotula khindu, vayi mamvandi wufua ayi batu baba kuntumukinanga bamana sasukusu.
38 Now I tell you, withdraw from these men, and leave them alone. For if this counsel or this work is of human origin, it will be overthrown.
Buabu ndieka ku lukamba: Bikanu buela kota mambu ma batu baba ayi luba yekula benda kuawu; bila enati lukanu lualu votimavanga mama madi ma batu buna mela fua.
39 But if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them, and you would be found even to be fighting against God."
Vayi enati madi mavanga ma Nzambi buna lulendi nunga ku mavonda ko ayi lukeba luedi nuanisa Nzambi.
40 They agreed with him. Summoning the apostles, they beat them and commanded them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
Batu boso bakikinina ndubu andi. Bu batumisa bamvuala; baba kandika babika buela yolukila dizina di Yesu. Bu bamana kuba tuta khuba; bosi baba yekula.
41 They therefore departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the Name.
Bawu batotuka va ntuala lukutukunu lu minyadi mu khini bila bamonika ti bafueni mona ziphasi mu diambu di dizina di Yesu.
42 Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming that Jesus is the Christ.
Bosi kadika lumbu mu nzo Nzambi ayi mu zinzo, bamvuala basia vonga ko mu longa ayi mu yamikisa Yesu banga Klisto.
