Acts 3
1 Now Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, at three in the afternoon.
ਤ੍ਰੁʼਤੀਯਯਾਮਵੇਲਾਯਾਂ ਸਤ੍ਯਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥਨਾਯਾਃ ਸਮਯੇ ਪਿਤਰਯੋਹਨੌ ਸਮ੍ਭੂਯ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰੰ ਗੱਛਤਃ|
2 A certain man who was lame from his mother's womb was being carried, whom they put daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask gifts for the needy of those who entered into the temple.
ਤਸ੍ਮਿੰਨੇਵ ਸਮਯੇ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ਕਾਨਾਂ ਸਮੀਪੇ ਭਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਰਣਾਰ੍ਥੰ ਯੰ ਜਨ੍ਮਖਞ੍ਜਮਾਨੁਸ਼਼ੰ ਲੋਕਾ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰਸ੍ਯ ਸੁਨ੍ਦਰਨਾਮ੍ਨਿ ਦ੍ਵਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਦਿਨਮ੍ ਅਸ੍ਥਾਪਯਨ੍ ਤੰ ਵਹਨ੍ਤਸ੍ਤਦ੍ਵਾਰੰ ਆਨਯਨ੍|
3 Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive gifts for the needy.
ਤਦਾ ਪਿਤਰਯੋਹਨੌ ਮਨ੍ਤਿਰੰ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼਼੍ਟੁਮ੍ ਉਦ੍ਯਤੌ ਵਿਲੋਕ੍ਯ ਸ ਖਞ੍ਜਸ੍ਤੌ ਕਿਞ੍ਚਿਦ੍ ਭਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਤਵਾਨ੍|
4 Peter, fastening his eyes on him, with John, said, "Look at us."
ਤਸ੍ਮਾਦ੍ ਯੋਹਨਾ ਸਹਿਤਃ ਪਿਤਰਸ੍ਤਮ੍ ਅਨਨ੍ਯਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟ੍ਯਾ ਨਿਰੀਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰੋਕ੍ਤਵਾਨ੍ ਆਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਿੰ ਕੁਰੁ|
5 He listened to them, expecting to receive something from them.
ਤਤਃ ਸ ਕਿਞ੍ਚਿਤ੍ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਤ੍ਯਾਸ਼ਯਾ ਤੌ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਿੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਾਨ੍|
6 But Peter said, "Silver and gold have I none, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean, get up and walk."
ਤਦਾ ਪਿਤਰੋ ਗਦਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਮਮ ਨਿਕਟੇ ਸ੍ਵਰ੍ਣਰੂਪ੍ਯਾਦਿ ਕਿਮਪਿ ਨਾਸ੍ਤਿ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਯਦਾਸ੍ਤੇ ਤਦ੍ ਦਦਾਮਿ ਨਾਸਰਤੀਯਸ੍ਯ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਨਾਮ੍ਨਾ ਤ੍ਵਮੁੱਥਾਯ ਗਮਨਾਗਮਨੇ ਕੁਰੁ|
7 He took him by the right hand, and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength.
ਤਤਃ ਪਰੰ ਸ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਦਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਣਕਰੰ ਧ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਮ੍ ਉਦਤੋਲਯਤ੍; ਤੇਨ ਤਤ੍ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਣਾਤ੍ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਜਨਸ੍ਯ ਪਾਦਗੁਲ੍ਫਯੋਃ ਸਬਲਤ੍ਵਾਤ੍ ਸ ਉੱਲਮ੍ਫ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰੋੱਥਾਯ ਗਮਨਾਗਮਨੇ (ਅ)ਕਰੋਤ੍|
8 Leaping up, he stood, and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.
ਤਤੋ ਗਮਨਾਗਮਨੇ ਕੁਰ੍ੱਵਨ੍ ਉੱਲਮ੍ਫਨ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੰ ਧਨ੍ਯੰ ਵਦਨ੍ ਤਾਭ੍ਯਾਂ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧੰ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਵਿਸ਼ਤ੍|
9 All the people saw him walking and praising God.
ਤਤਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਲੋਕਾਸ੍ਤੰ ਗਮਨਾਗਮਨੇ ਕੁਰ੍ੱਵਨ੍ਤਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੰ ਧਨ੍ਯੰ ਵਦਨ੍ਤਞ੍ਚ ਵਿਲੋਕ੍ਯ
10 They recognized him, that it was he who used to sit begging for gifts for the needy at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. They were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰਸ੍ਯ ਸੁਨ੍ਦਰੇ ਦ੍ਵਾਰੇ ਯ ਉਪਵਿਸ਼੍ਯ ਭਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਸਏਵਾਯਮ੍ ਇਤਿ ਜ੍ਞਾਤ੍ਵਾ ਤੰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਤਯਾ ਘਟਨਯਾ ਚਮਤ੍ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਾ ਵਿਸ੍ਮਯਾਪੰਨਾਸ਼੍ਚਾਭਵਨ੍|
11 And as he held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.
ਯਃ ਖਞ੍ਜਃ ਸ੍ਵਸ੍ਥੋਭਵਤ੍ ਤੇਨ ਪਿਤਰਯੋਹਨੋਃ ਕਰਯੋਰ੍ਧ੍ਟਤਯੋਃ ਸਤੋਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਲੋਕਾ ਸੰਨਿਧਿਮ੍ ਆਗੱਛਨ੍|
12 When Peter saw it, he responded to the people, "You men of Israel, why are you amazed at this? Why do you fasten your eyes on us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him walk?
ਤਦ੍ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟ੍ਵਾ ਪਿਤਰਸ੍ਤੇਭ੍ਯੋ(ਅ)ਕਥਯਤ੍, ਹੇ ਇਸ੍ਰਾਯੇਲੀਯਲੋਕਾ ਯੂਯੰ ਕੁਤੋ (ਅ)ਨੇਨਾਸ਼੍ਚਰ੍ੱਯੰ ਮਨ੍ਯਧ੍ਵੇ? ਆਵਾਂ ਨਿਜਸ਼ਕ੍ਤ੍ਯਾ ਯਦ੍ਵਾ ਨਿਜਪੁਣ੍ਯੇਨ ਖਞ੍ਜਮਨੁਸ਼਼੍ਯਮੇਨੰ ਗਮਿਤਵਨ੍ਤਾਵਿਤਿ ਚਿਨ੍ਤਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਆਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਕੁਤੋ(ਅ)ਨਨ੍ਯਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਿੰ ਕੁਰੁਥ?
13 The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up, and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had determined to release him.
ਯੰ ਯੀਸ਼ੁੰ ਯੂਯੰ ਪਰਕਰੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਸਮਾਰ੍ਪਯਤ ਤਤੋ ਯੰ ਪੀਲਾਤੋ ਮੋਚਯਿਤੁਮ੍ ਏੱਛਤ੍ ਤਥਾਪਿ ਯੂਯੰ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਨ੍ ਨਾਙ੍ਗੀਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਨ੍ਤ ਇਬ੍ਰਾਹੀਮ ਇਸ੍ਹਾਕੋ ਯਾਕੂਬਸ਼੍ਚੇਸ਼੍ਵਰੋ(ਅ)ਰ੍ਥਾਦ੍ ਅਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵਪੁਰੁਸ਼਼ਾਣਾਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਃ ਸ੍ਵਪੁਤ੍ਰਸ੍ਯ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਯੀਸ਼ੋ ਰ੍ਮਹਿਮਾਨੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਕਾਸ਼ਯਤ੍|
14 But you denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a man who was a murderer to be granted to you,
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਯੂਯੰ ਤੰ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰੰ ਧਾਰ੍ੰਮਿਕੰ ਪੁਮਾਂਸੰ ਨਾਙ੍ਗੀਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯ ਹਤ੍ਯਾਕਾਰਿਣਮੇਕੰ ਸ੍ਵੇਭ੍ਯੋ ਦਾਤੁਮ੍ ਅਯਾਚਧ੍ਵੰ|
15 and killed the Originator of life, whom God raised from the dead, to which we are witnesses.
ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਤ੍ ਤੰ ਜੀਵਨਸ੍ਯਾਧਿਪਤਿਮ੍ ਅਹਤ ਕਿਨ੍ਤ੍ਵੀਸ਼੍ਵਰਃ ਸ਼੍ਮਸ਼ਾਨਾਤ੍ ਤਮ੍ ਉਦਸ੍ਥਾਪਯਤ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਵਯੰ ਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਣ ਆਸ੍ਮਹੇ|
16 By faith in his name, his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which is through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
ਇਮੰ ਯੰ ਮਾਨੁਸ਼਼ੰ ਯੂਯੰ ਪਸ਼੍ਯਥ ਪਰਿਚਿਨੁਥ ਚ ਸ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਨਾਮ੍ਨਿ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸਕਰਣਾਤ੍ ਚਲਨਸ਼ਕ੍ਤਿੰ ਲਬ੍ਧਵਾਨ੍ ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਯੋ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸਃ ਸ ਤੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਤ੍ ਸਮ੍ਪੂਰ੍ਣਰੂਪੇਣ ਸ੍ਵਸ੍ਥਮ੍ ਅਕਾਰ੍ਸ਼਼ੀਤ੍|
17 "Now, brothers, I know that you did this in ignorance, as did also your rulers.
ਹੇ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਰੋ ਯੂਯੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕਮ੍ ਅਧਿਪਤਯਸ਼੍ਚ ਅਜ੍ਞਾਤ੍ਵਾ ਕਰ੍ੰਮਾਣ੍ਯੇਤਾਨਿ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਨ੍ਤ ਇਦਾਨੀਂ ਮਮੈਸ਼਼ ਬੋਧੋ ਜਾਯਤੇ|
18 But the things which God announced by the mouth of all his prophets, that the Christ should suffer, he thus fulfilled.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤ੍ਵੀਸ਼੍ਵਰਃ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਦੁਃਖਭੋਗੇ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਦ੍ਵਾਦਿਨਾਂ ਮੁਖੇਭ੍ਯੋ ਯਾਂ ਯਾਂ ਕਥਾਂ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵਮਕਥਯਤ੍ ਤਾਃ ਕਥਾ ਇੱਥੰ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਅਕਰੋਤ੍|
19 "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord,
ਅਤਃ ਸ੍ਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਪਾਪਮੋਚਨਾਰ੍ਥੰ ਖੇਦੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਮਨਾਂਸਿ ਪਰਿਵਰ੍ੱਤਯਧ੍ਵੰ, ਤਸ੍ਮਾਦ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਾਤ੍ ਸਾਨ੍ਤ੍ਵਨਾਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਤੇਃ ਸਮਯ ਉਪਸ੍ਥਾਸ੍ਯਤਿ;
20 and that he may send Jesus, the Christ who was ordained for you before,
ਪੁਨਸ਼੍ਚ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵਕਾਲਮ੍ ਆਰਭ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਿਤੋ ਯੋ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਤਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੋ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼ਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ|
21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets. (aiōn g165)
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਜਗਤਃ ਸ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਿਮਾਰਭ੍ਯ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੋ ਨਿਜਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਦ੍ਵਾਦਿਗਣੋਨ ਯਥਾ ਕਥਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤਦਨੁਸਾਰੇਣ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਕਾਰ੍ੱਯਾਣਾਂ ਸਿੱਧਿਪਰ੍ੱਯਨ੍ਤੰ ਤੇਨ ਸ੍ਵਰ੍ਗੇ ਵਾਸਃ ਕਰ੍ੱਤਵ੍ਯਃ| (aiōn g165)
22 For Moses indeed said to the fathers, 'The Lord your God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me. You must listen to him in all things whatever he says to you.
ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੁਃ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼੍ਵਰੋ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ੍ਰੁʼਗਣਮਧ੍ਯਾਤ੍ ਮਤ੍ਸਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੰ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਦ੍ਵਕ੍ਤਾਰਮ੍ ਉਤ੍ਪਾਦਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ, ਤਤਃ ਸ ਯਤ੍ ਕਿਞ੍ਚਿਤ੍ ਕਥਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਯੂਯੰ ਮਨਾਂਸਿ ਨਿਧੱਧ੍ਵੰ|
23 It will be, that every soul that will not listen to that prophet will be utterly destroyed from among the people.'
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਯਃ ਕਸ਼੍ਚਿਤ੍ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਦ੍ਵਾਦਿਨਃ ਕਥਾਂ ਨ ਗ੍ਰਹੀਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ ਸ ਨਿਜਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯਾਦ੍ ਉੱਛੇਤ੍ਸ੍ਯਤੇ," ਇਮਾਂ ਕਥਾਮ੍ ਅਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵਪੁਰੁਸ਼਼ੇਭ੍ਯਃ ਕੇਵਲੋ ਮੂਸਾਃ ਕਥਯਾਮਾਸ ਇਤਿ ਨਹਿ,
24 Yes, and all the prophets from Samuel and those who followed after, as many as have spoken, they also told of these days.
ਸ਼ਿਮੂਯੇਲ੍ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਦ੍ਵਾਦਿਨਮ੍ ਆਰਭ੍ਯ ਯਾਵਨ੍ਤੋ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਦ੍ਵਾਕ੍ਯਮ੍ ਅਕਥਯਨ੍ ਤੇ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਏਵ ਸਮਯਸ੍ਯੈਤਸ੍ਯ ਕਥਾਮ੍ ਅਕਥਯਨ੍|
25 You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, 'And through your offspring all the families of the earth will be blessed.'
ਯੂਯਮਪਿ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਦ੍ਵਾਦਿਨਾਂ ਸਨ੍ਤਾਨਾਃ, "ਤਵ ਵੰਸ਼ੋਦ੍ਭਵਪੁੰਸਾ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਾ ਲੋਕਾ ਆਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼ੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਤਾ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ", ਇਬ੍ਰਾਹੀਮੇ ਕਥਾਮੇਤਾਂ ਕਥਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੋਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵਪੁਰੁਸ਼਼ੈਃ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧੰ ਯੰ ਨਿਯਮੰ ਸ੍ਥਿਰੀਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਨਿਯਮਸ੍ਯਾਧਿਕਾਰਿਣੋਪਿ ਯੂਯੰ ਭਵਥ|
26 God, having raised up his Servant, sent him to you first, to bless you, in turning away everyone of you from your wickedness."
ਅਤ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੋ ਨਿਜਪੁਤ੍ਰੰ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਮ੍ ਉੱਥਾਪ੍ਯ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸ੍ਵਸ੍ਵਪਾਪਾਤ੍ ਪਰਾਵਰ੍ੱਤ੍ਯ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਭ੍ਯਮ੍ ਆਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼ੰ ਦਾਤੁੰ ਪ੍ਰਥਮਤਸ੍ਤੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਨਿਕਟੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼ਿਤਵਾਨ੍|
