2 Timothy 2
1 You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
હે મમ પુત્ર, ખ્રીષ્ટયીશુતો યોઽનુગ્રહસ્તસ્ય બલેન ત્વં બલવાન્ ભવ|
2 The things which you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit the same to faithful people, who will be able to teach others also.
અપરં બહુભિઃ સાક્ષિભિઃ પ્રમાણીકૃતાં યાં શિક્ષાં શ્રુતવાનસિ તાં વિશ્વાસ્યેષુ પરસ્મૈ શિક્ષાદાને નિપુણેષુ ચ લોકેષુ સમર્પય|
3 You therefore must share in hardship, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
ત્વં યીશુખ્રીષ્ટસ્યોત્તમો યોદ્ધેવ ક્લેશં સહસ્વ|
4 No soldier on duty entangles himself in the affairs of life, that he may please him who enrolled him as a soldier.
યો યુદ્ધં કરોતિ સ સાંસારિકે વ્યાપારે મગ્નો ન ભવતિ કિન્તુ સ્વનિયોજયિત્રે રોચિતું ચેષ્ટતે|
5 Also, if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he has competed by the rules.
અપરં યો મલ્લૈ ર્યુધ્યતિ સ યદિ નિયમાનુસારેણ ન યુદ્ધ્યતિ તર્હિ કિરીટં ન લપ્સ્યતે|
6 The farmers who labor must be the first to get a share of the crops.
અપરં યઃ કૃષીવલઃ કર્મ્મ કરોતિ તેન પ્રથમેન ફલભાગિના ભવિતવ્યં|
7 Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in all things.
મયા યદુચ્યતે તત્ ત્વયા બુધ્યતાં યતઃ પ્રભુસ્તુભ્યં સર્વ્વત્ર બુદ્ધિં દાસ્યતિ|
8 Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, a descendant of David, according to my Good News,
મમ સુસંવાદસ્ય વચનાનુસારાદ્ દાયૂદ્વંશીયં મૃતગણમધ્યાદ્ ઉત્થાપિતઞ્ચ યીશું ખ્રીષ્ટં સ્મર|
9 in which I suffer hardship to the point of chains as a criminal. But God's word is not chained.
તત્સુસંવાદકારણાદ્ અહં દુષ્કર્મ્મેવ બન્ધનદશાપર્ય્યન્તં ક્લેશં ભુઞ્જે કિન્ત્વીશ્વરસ્ય વાક્યમ્ અબદ્ધં તિષ્ઠતિ|
10 Therefore I endure all things for the chosen ones' sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with everlasting glory. (aiōnios g166)
ખ્રીષ્ટેન યીશુના યદ્ અનન્તગૌરવસહિતં પરિત્રાણં જાયતે તદભિરુચિતૈ ર્લોકૈરપિ યત્ લભ્યેત તદર્થમહં તેષાં નિમિત્તં સર્વ્વાણ્યેતાનિ સહે| (aiōnios g166)
11 This saying is faithful: "For if we died with him, we will also live with him.
અપરમ્ એષા ભારતી સત્યા યદિ વયં તેન સાર્દ્ધં મ્રિયામહે તર્હિ તેન સાર્દ્ધં જીવિવ્યામઃ, યદિ ચ ક્લેશં સહામહે તર્હિ તેન સાર્દ્ધં રાજત્વમપિ કરિષ્યામહે|
12 If we endure, we will also reign with him. If we deny him, he also will deny us.
યદિ વયં તમ્ અનઙ્ગીકુર્મ્મસ્તર્હિ સો ઽસ્માનપ્યનઙ્ગીકરિષ્યતિ|
13 If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny himself."
યદિ વયં ન વિશ્વાસામસ્તર્હિ સ વિશ્વાસ્યસ્તિષ્ઠતિ યતઃ સ્વમ્ અપહ્નોતું ન શક્નોતિ|
14 Remind them of these things, charging them in the presence of God, not to wrangle about words, to no profit, to the subverting of those who hear.
ત્વમેતાનિ સ્મારયન્ તે યથા નિષ્ફલં શ્રોતૃણાં ભ્રંશજનકં વાગ્યુદ્ધં ન કુર્ય્યસ્તથા પ્રભોઃ સમક્ષં દૃઢં વિનીયાદિશ|
15 Do your best to present yourself approved by God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, properly handling the word of truth.
અપરં ત્વમ્ ઈશ્વરસ્ય સાક્ષાત્ સ્વં પરીક્ષિતમ્ અનિન્દનીયકર્મ્મકારિણઞ્ચ સત્યમતસ્ય વાક્યાનાં સદ્વિભજને નિપુણઞ્ચ દર્શયિતું યતસ્વ|
16 But shun empty chatter, for they will proceed further in ungodliness,
કિન્ત્વપવિત્રા અનર્થકકથા દૂરીકુરુ યતસ્તદાલમ્બિન ઉત્તરોત્તરમ્ અધર્મ્મે વર્દ્ધિષ્યન્તે,
17 and their word will consume like gangrene, of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
તેષાઞ્ચ વાક્યં ગલિતક્ષતવત્ ક્ષયવર્દ્ધકો ભવિષ્યતિ તેષાં મધ્યે હુમિનાયઃ ફિલીતશ્ચેતિનામાનૌ દ્વૌ જનૌ સત્યમતાદ્ ભ્રષ્ટૌ જાતૌ,
18 who have erred concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past, and overthrowing the faith of some.
મૃતાનાં પુનરુત્થિતિ ર્વ્યતીતેતિ વદન્તૌ કેષાઞ્ચિદ્ વિશ્વાસમ્ ઉત્પાટયતશ્ચ|
19 However God's firm foundation stands, having this seal, "The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Let every one who names the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness."
તથાપીશ્વરસ્ય ભિત્તિમૂલમ્ અચલં તિષ્ઠતિ તસ્મિંશ્ચેયં લિપિ ર્મુદ્રાઙ્કિતા વિદ્યતે| યથા, જાનાતિ પરમેશસ્તુ સ્વકીયાન્ સર્વ્વમાનવાન્| અપગચ્છેદ્ અધર્મ્માચ્ચ યઃ કશ્ચિત્ ખ્રીષ્ટનામકૃત્||
20 Now in a large house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of clay. Some are for honor, and some for dishonor.
કિન્તુ બૃહન્નિકેતને કેવલ સુવર્ણમયાનિ રૌપ્યમયાણિ ચ ભાજનાનિ વિદ્યન્ત ઇતિ તર્હિ કાષ્ઠમયાનિ મૃણ્મયાન્યપિ વિદ્યન્તે તેષાઞ્ચ કિયન્તિ સમ્માનાય કિયન્તપમાનાય ચ ભવન્તિ|
21 If anyone therefore purges himself from these, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, and suitable for the master's use, prepared for every good work.
અતો યદિ કશ્ચિદ્ એતાદૃશેભ્યઃ સ્વં પરિષ્કરોતિ તર્હિ સ પાવિતં પ્રભોઃ કાર્ય્યયોગ્યં સર્વ્વસત્કાર્ય્યાયોપયુક્તં સમ્માનાર્થકઞ્ચ ભાજનં ભવિષ્યતિ|
22 Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
યૌવનાવસ્થાયા અભિલાષાસ્ત્વયા પરિત્યજ્યન્તાં ધર્મ્મો વિશ્વાસઃ પ્રેમ યે ચ શુચિમનોભિઃ પ્રભુમ્ ઉદ્દિશ્ય પ્રાર્થનાં કુર્વ્વતે તૈઃ સાર્દ્ધમ્ ઐક્યભાવશ્ચૈતેષુ ત્વયા યત્નો વિધીયતાં|
23 But refuse foolish and ignorant questionings, knowing that they generate strife.
અપરં ત્વમ્ અનર્થકાન્ અજ્ઞાનાંશ્ચ પ્રશ્નાન્ વાગ્યુદ્ધોત્પાદકાન્ જ્ઞાત્વા દૂરીકુરુ|
24 The Lord's servant must not quarrel, but be gentle towards all, able to teach, patient,
યતઃ પ્રભો ર્દાસેન યુદ્ધમ્ અકર્ત્તવ્યં કિન્તુ સર્વ્વાન્ પ્રતિ શાન્તેન શિક્ષાદાનેચ્છુકેન સહિષ્ણુના ચ ભવિતવ્યં, વિપક્ષાશ્ચ તેન નમ્રત્વેન ચેતિતવ્યાઃ|
25 in gentleness correcting those who oppose him: perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth,
તથા કૃતે યદીશ્વરઃ સત્યમતસ્ય જ્ઞાનાર્થં તેભ્યો મનઃપરિવર્ત્તનરૂપં વરં દદ્યાત્,
26 and they may recover themselves out of the devil's snare, having been taken captive by him to his will.
તર્હિ તે યેન શયતાનેન નિજાભિલાષસાધનાય ધૃતાસ્તસ્ય જાલાત્ ચેતનાં પ્રાપ્યોદ્ધારં લબ્ધું શક્ષ્યન્તિ|
