< 2 Kings 21 >

1 Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign; and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Hephzibah.
Manasseh a manghai vaengah kum hlai nit ni a lo ca pueng tih Jerusalem ah kum sawmnga kum nga manghai. A manu ming tah Hephzibah ni.
2 He did that which was evil in the sight of YHWH, after the abominations of the nations whom YHWH cast out before the children of Israel.
BOEIPA loh Israel ca rhoek mikhmuh lamkah a haek namtom rhoek kah tueilaehkoi bangla BOEIPA mikhmuh ah boethae a saii.
3 For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made an Asherah, as did Ahab king of Israel, and worshiped all the host of heaven, and served them.
Mael tih a napa Hezekiah loh a phae hmuensang te a sak. Baal ham hmueihtuk a thoh tih Israel manghai Ahab kah a saii bangla Asherah te a saii. Vaan kah caempuei cungkuem taengah bakop tih te rhoek taengah tho a thueng.

6 He made his son to pass through the fire, and practiced sorcery, and practiced divination, and consulted mediums, and spiritists: he worked much evil in the sight of YHWH, to provoke him to anger.
A ca te hmai dongah a kat sak. Kutyaek a sawt tih lung a sawt. Rhaitonghma a dawt tih a mikhmuh ah boethae saii ham neh BOEIPA veet ham te hnam la tlung.
7 He set the engraved image of Asherah, that he had made, in the house of which YHWH said to David and to Solomon his son, "In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name forever;
Asherah mueithuk a saii te im ah a khueh. Te te BOEIPA loh a ca David taeng neh Solomon taengah tah, “He im khui neh Israel koca cungkuem lamloh ka coelh Jerusalem ah he kumhal duela ka ming ka khueh ni.

16 Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, until he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; besides his sin with which he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of YHWH.
