2 Corinthians 11

1 I wish that you would bear with me in a little foolishness, but indeed you do bear with me.

എന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ ഭോഷത്തമായി നിങ്ങൾക്കു തോന്നുന്നെങ്കിൽ അൽപ്പംകൂടി സഹിക്കുമെന്നു ഞാൻ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; ഇപ്പോൾത്തന്നെ നിങ്ങൾ സഹിക്കുന്നുണ്ടല്ലോ.

2 For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy. For I married you to one husband, that I might present you as a pure virgin to Christ.

ദൈവം നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് അത്യന്തം ജാഗരൂകനായിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെതന്നെ, ഞാനും നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് ജാഗരൂകനായിരിക്കുന്നു. കാരണം, നിങ്ങളെ നിർമലകന്യകയായി ക്രിസ്തു എന്ന ഏകപുരുഷനു ഏൽപ്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കാൻ ഞാൻ വിവാഹനിശ്ചയം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

3 But I am afraid that somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve in his craftiness, so your minds might be corrupted from the sincerity and purity that is in Christ.

എന്നാൽ, പിശാച് ഹവ്വായെ തന്ത്രപൂർവം കബളിപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെയും ഹൃദയത്തെ ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടുള്ള പാതിവ്രത്യത്തിൽനിന്നും നിർമലതയിൽനിന്നും തെറ്റിച്ചുകളയുമോ എന്നു ഞാൻ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു.

4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus, whom we did not preach, or if you receive a different spirit, which you did not receive, or a different "good news", which you did not accept, you put up with that well enough.

ആരെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽവന്ന് ഞങ്ങൾ പ്രസംഗിച്ചതിൽനിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തനായ മറ്റൊരു യേശുവിനെ പ്രസംഗിച്ചാലും, നിങ്ങൾ സ്വീകരിച്ചതിൽനിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തമായ ഒരാത്മാവിനെയോ ഒരുസുവിശേഷത്തെയോ നൽകിയാലും നിങ്ങൾ ഇവയെല്ലാം ഒരു വിവേചനവുംകൂടാതെ അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നല്ലോ!

5 For I reckon that I am not at all behind the very best apostles.

ഞാൻ “അതിശ്രേഷ്ഠരായ” ഇതര അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരെക്കാൾ ഒരു കാര്യത്തിലും കുറവുള്ളവനാണെന്ന് കരുതുന്നില്ല.

6 Even though I am unskilled in speech, I am not unskilled in knowledge. But in every way we have made this known to you in all things.

എനിക്ക് പ്രഭാഷണനൈപുണ്യം ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും പരിജ്ഞാനം ഇല്ലാത്തവനല്ല. ഇത് ഞങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവിധത്തിലും എപ്പോഴും നിങ്ങൾക്കു തെളിയിച്ചുതന്നിട്ടുള്ളതാണ്.

7 Or did I commit a sin in humbling myself that you might be exalted, because I preached to you God's Good News free of charge?

പ്രതിഫലം പറ്റാതെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സുവിശേഷം അറിയിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളെ ഉയർത്താൻവേണ്ടി, എന്നെത്തന്നെ താഴ്ത്തിയത് എന്റെ ഭാഗത്ത് ഒരു തെറ്റായിപ്പോയോ?

8 I robbed other churches, taking wages from them that I might serve you.

നിങ്ങളെ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കേണ്ടതിനായി ഞാൻ മറ്റു സഭകളെ കവർച്ച ചെയ്യുന്നതുപോലെയായിരുന്നു അവരിൽനിന്ന് സഹായം സ്വീകരിച്ചത്.

9 When I was present with you and was in need, I was not a burden on anyone, for the brothers, when they came from Macedonia, supplied the measure of my need. In everything I kept myself from being burdensome to you, and I will continue to do so.

നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ആയിരുന്നപ്പോൾ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകൾ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടും നിങ്ങളിൽ ആർക്കും ഞാൻ ഭാരമായിത്തീർന്നിട്ടില്ല; മക്കദോന്യയിൽനിന്ന് വന്ന സഹോദരന്മാരാണ് എന്റെ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ നിറവേറ്റിയത്. നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരുവിധത്തിലും ഭാരമാകാതെ ഞാൻ എന്നെത്തന്നെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു; ഇനിയും സൂക്ഷിക്കും.

10 As the truth of Christ is in me, no one will stop me from this boasting in the regions of Achaia.

എന്റെ ഈ അഭിമാനം നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്താൻ അഖായയിലുള്ള ആർക്കും കഴിയുകയില്ല എന്നത്, എന്നിലുള്ള ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സത്യംപോലെതന്നെ സുനിശ്ചിതമാണ്.

11 Why? Because I do not love you? God knows.

എനിക്കു നിങ്ങളോടു സ്നേഹമില്ലാത്തതുകൊണ്ടാണോ? അതിന്റെ യാഥാർഥ്യം ദൈവം അറിയുന്നു.

12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them that desire an occasion, that in which they boast, they may be found even as we.

ഞങ്ങളോടു സമന്മാർ എന്ന് അവകാശപ്പെടാൻ അവസരം കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ആത്മപ്രശംസ ഇല്ലാതാക്കാൻ കിണഞ്ഞു പരിശ്രമിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് അതിന് അവസരം കൊടുക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിനാണ് ഞാൻ ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത്; ഇനിയും അങ്ങനെതന്നെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കും.

13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as Christ's apostles.

അവർ വ്യാജയപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാർ, വഞ്ചകരായ വേലക്കാർ, ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരുടെ വേഷംകെട്ടുന്നവർതന്നെ.

14 And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light.

ഇതിൽ ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടാനെന്തിരിക്കുന്നു; സാത്താൻതന്നെയും പ്രകാശദൂതന്റെ വേഷം ധരിക്കുന്നല്ലോ!

15 It is no great thing therefore if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

ആകയാൽ അവന്റെ വേലക്കാർ നീതിശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരുടെ വേഷം ധരിക്കുന്നതിലും ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടാനില്ല. അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾക്കു തക്ക ന്യായവിധി അവസാനം അവർക്കു ലഭിക്കും.

16 I say again, let no one think me foolish. But if so, yet receive me as foolish, that I also may boast a little.

ഞാൻ വീണ്ടും പറയട്ടെ: എന്നെ ഒരു ഭോഷൻ എന്ന് ആരും കരുതരുത്; അഥവാ, കരുതിയാൽ, ഒരു ഭോഷൻ എന്നപോലെ എന്നെ സ്വീകരിക്കുക. അപ്പോൾ അൽപ്പമൊന്ന് പ്രശംസിക്കാൻ എനിക്കു കഴിയുമല്ലോ.

17 That which I speak, I do not speak according to the Lord, but as in foolishness, in this confidence of boasting.

ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള ആത്മപ്രശംസ കർത്തൃഹിതപ്രകാരമല്ല, ഇത് ഒരു ഭോഷന്റെ ഭാഷണമാണ്.

18 Seeing that many boast after the flesh, I will also boast.

അനേകരും തങ്ങളുടെ ലൗകികനേട്ടങ്ങളിൽ അഹങ്കരിക്കുന്നു. എങ്കിൽ ഞാനും അൽപ്പം ആത്മപ്രശംസ നടത്തട്ടെ.

19 For you bear with the foolish gladly, being wise.

നിങ്ങൾ ജ്ഞാനികൾ ആയിരിക്കെ, ആനന്ദപൂർവം ഭോഷന്മാരെ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നല്ലോ!

20 For you put up with it if someone makes slaves of you, if someone exploits you, if someone takes advantage of you, if someone exalts himself, if someone strikes you on the face.

വാസ്തവം പറഞ്ഞാൽ, നിങ്ങളെ അടിമകളെപ്പോലെ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നവരെയും ചൂഷണം ചെയ്യുന്നവരെയും മുതലെടുക്കുന്നവരെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ നേതാവാകാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നവരെയും എന്തിനേറെപ്പറയുന്നു, നിങ്ങളുടെ മുഖത്തടിക്കുന്നവരെപ്പോലും നിങ്ങൾ സഹിക്കുന്നു!

21 I speak by way of disparagement, as though we had been weak. Yet however any is bold (I speak in foolishness), I am bold also.

ഇത്രയൊക്കെ ചെയ്യാൻമാത്രമുള്ള ബലം ഞങ്ങൾക്കില്ലായിരുന്നു എന്നു ലജ്ജയോടെ ഞാൻ സമ്മതിക്കുന്നു. മറ്റാരെങ്കിലും പ്രശംസിക്കാൻ മുതിർന്നാൽ, ഒരു മൂഢനെപ്പോലെ ഞാൻ പറയട്ടെ, ഞാനും ഇത്തിരി പ്രശംസിക്കും.

22 Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they descendants of Abraham? So am I.

അവർ എബ്രായരോ? ഞാനും അതേ. അവർ ഇസ്രായേല്യരോ? ഞാനും അതേ. അവർ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികളോ? ഞാനും അതേ.

23 Are they servants of Christ? (I speak as one beside himself) I am more so; in labors more abundantly, in prisons more abundantly, in stripes above measure, in deaths often.

അവർ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദാസരോ? (സുബോധമില്ലാത്തവനെപ്പോലെ ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു) ഞാൻ അവരെക്കാൾ മികച്ച ദാസൻതന്നെ. ഞാൻ അവരെക്കാൾ അധികം അധ്വാനിച്ചു. അവരെക്കാൾ ഏറെത്തവണ തടവിലായി. അവരെക്കാൾ ഏറെ ക്രൂരമായി ചമ്മട്ടികൊണ്ട് അടിയേറ്റു, പലപ്രാവശ്യം മരണത്തെ മുഖാമുഖം കണ്ടു.

24 Five times from the Jews I received forty stripes minus one.

അഞ്ചുപ്രാവശ്യം എന്റെ സ്വന്തം ജനമായ യെഹൂദരാൽ ഒന്നു കുറയെ നാൽപ്പത് അടികൊണ്ടു.

25 Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I suffered shipwreck. I have been a night and a day in the deep.

മൂന്നുതവണ റോമാക്കാർ കോലുകൊണ്ട് അടിച്ചു. ഒരിക്കൽ കല്ലേറ് ഏറ്റു. മൂന്നുപ്രാവശ്യം കപ്പലപകടത്തിൽപ്പെട്ടു. ഒരു രാത്രിയും ഒരു പകലും കടലിൽ കിടന്നു.

26 I have been in travels often, perils of rivers, perils of robbers, perils from my countrymen, perils from those who are not Jews, perils in the city, perils in the wilderness, perils in the sea, perils among false brothers;

വിശ്രമം ഇല്ലാതെ യാത്രചെയ്തു. നദികളിലെ ആപത്ത്, കൊള്ളക്കാരാലുള്ള ആപത്ത്, സ്വജനത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ള ആപത്ത്, യെഹൂദേതരരിൽനിന്നുള്ള ആപത്ത്, നഗരത്തിലെ ആപത്ത്, വിജനസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലെ ആപത്ത്, സമുദ്രത്തിലെ ആപത്ത്, വ്യാജസഹോദരങ്ങളിൽനിന്നുള്ള ആപത്ത് എന്നിവയിലെല്ലാം ഞാൻ അകപ്പെട്ടു.

27 in labor and travail, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, and in cold and nakedness.

പലപ്പോഴും രാത്രികളിൽ ഉറക്കമിളച്ചും, വിശപ്പും ദാഹവും സഹിച്ചും, പലപ്രാവശ്യം ആഹാരമില്ലാതെ വലഞ്ഞും, ശൈത്യത്തിലും, ആവശ്യത്തിനു വസ്ത്രമില്ലാതെയും ഞാൻ ക്ലേശിച്ച് അധ്വാനിച്ചു.

28 Besides those things that are outside, there is that which presses on me daily, anxiety for all the churches.

ഇവയ്ക്കെല്ലാം പുറമേ എല്ലാ സഭകളെയുംകുറിച്ചുള്ള ചിന്താഭാരം എന്ന സമ്മർദവും ദിനംതോറും ഞാൻ അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കുന്നു.

29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is caused to stumble, and I do not burn with indignation?

നിങ്ങളിൽ ആര് ബലഹീനനായപ്പോഴാണ് ഞാനും ബലഹീനൻ ആകാതെയിരുന്നിട്ടുള്ളത്? ആര് തെറ്റിലകപ്പെട്ടപ്പോഴാണ് ഞാൻ അതേക്കുറിച്ച് ദുഃഖിക്കാതിരുന്നിട്ടുള്ളത്?

30 If I must boast, I will boast of the things that concern my weakness.

അഭിമാനിക്കണമെങ്കിൽ, ഞാൻ എന്റെ ബലഹീനതകളെക്കുറിച്ച് അഭിമാനിക്കും.

31 The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, he who is blessed forevermore, knows that I do not lie. (aiōn g165)

നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദൈവവും പിതാവുമായവൻ, ഞാൻ പറയുന്നതു വ്യാജമല്ല എന്നറിയുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് എന്നേക്കും വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവൻ. (aiōn g165)

32 In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king guarded the city of the Damascenes, desiring to arrest me.

അരേതാരാജാവ് നിയോഗിച്ച ഭരണാധികാരി ദമസ്കോസിൽവെച്ച് എന്നെ ബന്ധിക്കുന്നതിനായി ദമസ്കോസ് നഗരത്തിന് കാവൽ ഏർപ്പെടുത്തി.

33 Through a window I was let down in a basket by the wall, and escaped his hands.

എന്നാൽ, എന്നെ ഒരു കുട്ടയിലാക്കി മതിലിലുള്ള ഒരു ജനാലയിലൂടെ താഴേക്കിറക്കുകയും അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കൈകളിൽനിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു.
