1 Timothy 2
1 I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings, be made for all people:
১মোৰ প্ৰথম নিবেদন এই যে, সকলোবোৰ মানুহৰ কাৰণে অনুৰোধ, প্ৰাৰ্থনা, নিবেদন আৰু ধন্যবাদ কৰা হওক৷
2 for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.
২ইয়াৰ বাবে ৰজা আৰু অধিকাৰী সকলৰ কাৰণে প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিব লাগে, যাতে আমি সকলো ঈশ্বৰভক্তই সততাত থাকি ক্ষান্ত আৰু শান্তিপূৰ্ণ জীৱন-যাপন কৰিব পাৰোঁ;
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;
৩এয়ে আমাৰ ত্ৰাণকৰ্তা ঈশ্বৰৰ দৃষ্টিত উত্তম আৰু গ্ৰহণীয়৷
4 who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.
৪তেওঁৰ ইচ্ছা এয়ে যে, সকলো মানুহে যেন পৰিত্ৰাণ আৰু সত্যৰ জ্ঞান পায়।
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and humanity, a human, Christ Jesus,
৫কাৰণ ঈশ্বৰ এজন আৰু তেওঁৰ সৈতে মানুহৰ মাজত মধ্যস্থও এজন, তেৱেঁই মনুষ্য খ্ৰীষ্ট যীচু;
6 who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times;
৬তেওঁ সকলো মানুহৰ কাৰণে মুক্তিৰ মূল্য হিচাবে নিজৰ জীৱন দান কৰিলে৷ যীচুৰ এই কাৰ্যই সঠিক সময়ত সকলোকে সাক্ষ্য দিলে৷
7 to which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying), a teacher of the non-Jews in faith and truth.
৭এই সাক্ষ্য দিবৰ কাৰণে মোক এজন ঘোষণাকাৰী আৰু পাঁচনি ৰূপে নিযুক্ত কৰিলে৷ মই বিশ্বাস আৰু সত্যত অনা-ইহুদী সকলৰ শিক্ষক হলোঁ৷ মই সঁচা কথা কওঁ; মই মিছা নকওঁ৷
8 I desire therefore that the men in every place pray, lifting up holy hands without anger and doubting.
৮মোৰ ইচ্ছা এয়ে যে, সকলো ঠাইতে পুৰুষ সকলে ক্ৰোধ আৰু বাদ-বিবাদৰ মনোভাৱ নাৰাখি পবিত্ৰ হাত দাঙি প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰক৷
9 In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety; not just with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing;
৯সেইদৰে মই বিচাৰো, মহিলা সকলেও সুলাজ, নম্ৰ আৰু সুবোধেৰে সৈতে পৰিপাটি পোছাকেৰে নিজকে ভূষিত কৰক; নানা ধৰণৰ কেশ-বিন্যাস কৰি, সোণ বা মুক্তা পিন্ধি অথবা বহুমূল্য কাপোৰেৰে নহয়;
10 but (which becomes women professing godliness) with good works.
১০কিন্তু ঈশ্বৰভক্তি স্বীকাৰ কৰা বিষয়ত হ’লে, সৎ কার্যৰ দ্ৱাৰাই ঈশ্ৱৰভক্তৰ পৰিচয় দিয়াই মহিলা সকলৰ উপযুক্ত ভূষণ হওক৷
11 Let a woman learn in quietness with all subjection.
১১মহিলা সকলে সম্পূৰ্ণ বাধ্যতা আৰু নীৰৱতাৰে বশৱৰ্ত্তী হৈ শিক্ষা গ্ৰহন কৰক।
12 But I do not permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.
১২শিক্ষা দিবৰ বাবে বা পুৰুষৰ ওপৰত ক্ষমতা চলাবৰ বাবে মই মহিলাক অধিকাৰ নিদিওঁ; কিন্তু শান্তভাবে থাকিবলৈহে কওঁ।
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
১৩কিয়নো প্ৰথমে আদমক পাছতহে হাৱাক নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰা হৈছিল;
14 Adam was not deceived, but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into disobedience;
১৪আৰু আদমক ভুলুউৱা নহ’ল কিন্তু মহিলা গৰাকীক সম্পূর্ণভাৱে ভুলাই অপৰাধত পেলালে;
15 but she will be delivered through the childbirth, if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control.
১৫তথাপি যদি সুবোধেৰে সৈতে বিশ্বাস, প্ৰেম আৰু পবিত্ৰতাত থাকি তেওঁলোকে জীৱন-যাপন কৰে, তেনেহলে মহিলাই সন্তান প্ৰসৱৰ দ্বাৰাই পৰিত্ৰাণ পাব৷
