1 Samuel 1
1 Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim, a Zuphite of the hill country of Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Toah, the son of Zuph, an Ephraimite.

2 And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other, Peninnah. And Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.
Ел авя доуэ невесте: уна се нумя Ана, яр чялалтэ, Пенина. Пенина авя копий, дар Ана н-авя.
3 This man went up out of his city from year to year to worship and to sacrifice to YHWH of hosts in Shiloh. The two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, priests of YHWH, were there.
Омул ачеста се суя ын фиекаре ан дин четатя са ла Сило, ка сэ се ынкине ынаинтя Домнулуй оштирилор ши сэ-Й адукэ жертфе. Аколо се афлау чей дой фий ай луй Ели, Хофни ши Финеас, преоць ай Домнулуй.
4 When the day came for Elkanah to sacrifice, he would give portions to his wife Peninnah and to all her sons and her daughters.
Ын зиуа кынд ышь адучя Елкана жертфа, дэдя пэрць невестей сале Пенина, тутурор фиилор ши тутурор фийчелор пе каре ле авя де ла еа.
5 But to Hannah he would give a double portion because he loved Hannah. Now YHWH had kept her from conceiving.
Дар Аней ый дэдя о парте ындоитэ, кэч юбя пе Ана. Дар Домнул о фэкусе стярпэ.
6 And because YHWH kept her from conceiving, her rival used to taunt her severely, to irritate her.
Потривника ей о ынцепа десеорь, ка с-о факэ сэ се мыние, пентру кэ Домнул о фэкусе стярпэ.
7 And this went on year after year, as often as she went up to the house of YHWH, she taunted her; therefore she would weep and refuse to eat.
Ши ын тоць аний ера аша. Орь де кыте орь се суя Ана ла Каса Домнулуй, Пенина о ынцепа ла фел. Атунч, еа плынӂя ши ну мынка.
8 And her husband Elkanah said to her, "Hannah, why are you weeping? And why are you not eating? And why are you so sad? Am I not better to you than ten sons?"
Елкана, бэрбатул ей, ый зичя: „Ана, пентру че плынӂь ши ну мэнынчь? Пентру че ць-есте ынтристатэ инима? Оаре ну прецуеск еу пентру тине май мулт декыт зече фий?”
9 So Hannah got up after eating and drinking in Shiloh, and stood before YHWH. Now Eli the priest was sitting on the seat by the doorpost of the temple of YHWH.
Ана с-а скулат, дупэ че ау мынкат ши ау бэут ей ла Сило. Преотул Ели шедя пе ун скаун, лынгэ унул дин ушорий Темплулуй Домнулуй.
10 And she was greatly distressed and prayed to YHWH, and wept uncontrollably.
Ши Ана се руга Домнулуй ку суфлетул амэрыт ши плынӂя.
11 And she vowed a vow and said, "YHWH of hosts, if you will indeed look on the affliction of your servant and remember me and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a son, then I will set him before you as a Nazirite until the day of his death. And he will not drink wine or strong drink, and no razor will come on his head."
Еа а фэкут о журуинцэ ши а зис: „Доамне, Думнезеул оштирилор! Дакэ вей биневои сэ кауць спре ынтристаря роабей Тале, дакэ-Ць вей адуче аминте де мине ши ну вей уйта пе роаба Та ши дакэ вей да роабей Тале ун копил де парте бэрбэтяскэ, ыл вой ынкина Домнулуй пентру тоате зилеле веций луй ши бричь ну ва трече песте капул луй.”
12 Now it happened, as she continued praying before YHWH, that Eli observed her mouth.
Фииндкэ еа стэтя мултэ време ын ругэчуне ынаинтя Домнулуй, Ели се уйта ку бэгаре де сямэ ла гура ей.
13 And she was speaking in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard. Therefore Eli thought she was drunk.
Ана ворбя ын инима ей ши нумай бузеле ши ле мишка, дар ну и се аузя гласул. Ели кредя кэ есте бятэ
14 So Eli said to her, "How long will you make yourself drunk? Put away your wine, and go from before YHWH."
ши й-а зис: „Пынэ кынд вей фи бятэ? Ду-те де те трезеште.”
15 And Hannah answered, "No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but I poured out my soul before YHWH.
Ана а рэспунс: „Ну, домнул меу, еу сунт о фемее каре суферэ ын инима ей ши н-ам бэут нич вин, нич бэутурэ амецитоаре, чи ымь вэрсам суфлетул ынаинтя Домнулуй.
16 Do not count your servant as a worthless woman; for I have been speaking out of the abundance of my distress and my anguish."
Сэ ну ей пе роаба та дрепт о фемее стрикатэ, кэч нумай пря мулта мя дурере ши супэраря м-ау фэкут сэ ворбеск пынэ акум.”
17 Then Eli answered, "Go in peace; and may the God of Israel grant your petition that you have asked of him."
Ели а луат дин ноу кувынтул ши а зис: „Ду-те ын паче, ши Думнезеул луй Исраел сэ аскулте ругэчуня пе каре Й-ай фэкут-о!”
18 She said, "Let your servant find favor in your sight." So the woman went her way, and entered her quarters, and ate; and her facial expression wasn't sad any more.
Еа а зис: „Сэ капете роаба та тречере ынаинтя та!” Ши фемея а плекат. А мынкат ши фаца ей н-а май фост ачеяшь.
19 They rose up in the morning early, and worshiped before YHWH, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and YHWH remembered her.
С-ау скулат дис-де-диминяцэ ши, дупэ че с-ау ынкинат пынэ ла пэмынт ынаинтя Домнулуй, с-ау ынторс ши ау венит акасэ, ла Рама. Елкана с-а кулкат ку невастэ-са Ана, ши Домнул Шь-а адус аминте де еа.
20 It happened, when the time had come, that Hannah conceived, and bore a son; and she named him Samuel, saying, "Because I have asked him of YHWH."
Кынд и с-ау ымплинит зилеле, Ана а рэмас ынсэрчинатэ ши а нэскут ун фиу, кэруя й-а пус нумеле Самуел, „кэч”, а зис еа, „де ла Домнул л-ам черут”.
21 The man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer to YHWH the yearly sacrifice, and to redeem his vow and all the tithes of his land.
Бэрбатул сэу, Елкана, с-а суит апой ку тоатэ каса луй сэ адукэ Домнулуй жертфа де песте ан ши сэ-шь ымплиняскэ журуинца.
22 But Hannah did not go up; for she said to her husband, "Not until the child is weaned; then I will bring him, that he may appear before YHWH, and stay there forever."
Дар Ана ну с-а суит ши а зис бэрбатулуй ей: „Кынд вой ынцэрка копилул, ыл вой дуче ка сэ фие пус ынаинтя Домнулуй ши сэ рэмынэ аколо пентру тотдяуна.”
23 Elkanah her husband said to her, "Do what seems good in your eyes. Wait until you have weaned him; only may YHWH establish what you have said." So the woman waited and nursed her son, until she weaned him.
Елкана, бэрбатул ей, й-а зис: „Фэ че вей креде, аштяптэ пынэ-л вей ынцэрка. Нумай ымплиняскэ-Шь Домнул кувынтул Луй!” Ши фемея а рэмас акасэ ши а дат цыцэ фиулуй ей пынэ л-а ынцэркат.
24 Then she took him to Shiloh along with a three-year old bull, and bread, and an ephah of flour, and a skin of wine. And she came to the house of YHWH in Shiloh, and the boy was with them. And they went before YHWH and his father slaughtered the sacrifice, which he did annually to YHWH. Then he brought the boy,
Кынд л-а ынцэркат, л-а суит ку еа ши а луат трей таурь, о ефэ де фэинэ ши ун бурдуф ку вин. Л-а дус ын Каса Домнулуй, ла Сило; копилул ера ынкэ мик де тот.
25 and he slaughtered the bull. And Hannah, the mother of the boy, brought him to Eli.
Ау ынжунгият таурий ши ау дус копилул ла Ели.
26 She said, "Oh, my lord, as your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood by you here, praying to YHWH.
Ана а зис: „Домнул меу, яртэ-мэ! Кыт есте де адевэрат кэ суфлетул тэу трэеште, домнул меу, атыт есте де адевэрат кэ еу сунт фемея ачея каре стэтям аич лынгэ тине ши мэ ругам Домнулуй!
27 For this child I prayed; and YHWH has given me my petition which I asked of him.
Пентру копилул ачеста мэ ругам, ши Домнул а аскултат ругэчуня пе каре Й-о фэчям.
28 Therefore also I have lent him to YHWH. As long as he lives he is lent to YHWH." Then she left him there, and she worshipped before YHWH.
Де ачея вряу сэ-л дау Домнулуй: тоатэ вяца луй сэ фие дат Домнулуй.” Ши с-ау ынкинат аколо ынаинтя Домнулуй.
