1 Kings 7
1 Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.
Και τον οίκον αυτού ωκοδόμησεν ο Σολομών εις δεκατρία έτη, και ετελείωσεν όλον τον οίκον αυτού.
2 For he built the house of the forest of Lebanon; its length was one hundred seventy-two feet and three inches, and its breadth eighty-six feet and two inches, and its height fifty-one feet and eight inches, on four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams on the pillars.
Και ωκοδόμησε τον οίκον του δάσους του Λιβάνου· το μήκος αυτού ήτο εκατόν πηχών, και το πλάτος αυτού πεντήκοντα πηχών, και το ύψος αυτού τριάκοντα πηχών, επί τεσσάρων σειρών στύλων κεδρίνων, με δοκούς κεδρίνους επί των στύλων.
3 It was covered with cedar above atop the beams which were on the pillars, and the pillars numbered forty-five; fifteen in a row.
Και εστεγάσθη με κέδρον άνωθεν των δοκών, αίτινες επεστηρίζοντο επί τεσσαράκοντα πέντε στύλων, δεκαπέντε εις την σειράν.
4 There were beams in three rows, and window was over against window in three ranks.
Και ήσαν παράθυρα εις τρεις σειράς, και ανταπεκρίνετο παράθυρον εις παράθυρον κατά τρεις σειράς.
5 All the doors and posts were made square with beams: and window was over against window in three ranks.
Και πάσαι αι θύραι και οι παραστάται ήσαν τετράγωνοι, με τα παράθυρα· και ανταπεκρίνετο παράθυρον εις παράθυρον κατά τρεις σειράς.
6 He made the porch of pillars; its length was eighty-six feet and two inches, and its breadth fifty-one feet and eight inches; and a porch before them; and pillars and a threshold before them.
Και έκαμε την στοάν εκ στύλων· το μήκος αυτής πεντήκοντα πηχών, και το πλάτος αυτής τριάκοντα πηχών· και ήτο η στοά κατέμπροσθεν των στύλων του οίκου, ώστε οι στύλοι και αι δοκοί ήσαν κατά πρόσωπον αυτών.
7 He made the porch of the throne where he was to judge, even the porch of judgment: and it was covered with cedar from floor to rafters.
Έκαμεν έτι στοάν διά τον θρόνον, όπου έμελλε να κρίνη, την στοάν της κρίσεως· και ήτο εστρωμένη με κέδρον εκ του ενός μέρους του εδάφους έως του άλλου.
8 His house where he was to dwell, the other court within the porch, was of the like work. He made also a house for Pharaoh's daughter (whom Solomon had taken as wife), like this porch.
Και ο οίκος αυτού, εις τον οποίον εκάθητο, είχε μίαν άλλην αυλήν έσωθεν της στοάς, ούσαν της αυτής κατασκευής. Ο Σολομών έκαμεν έτι οίκον διά την θυγατέρα του Φαραώ, την οποίαν είχε λάβει, όμοιον με την στοάν ταύτην.
9 All these were of costly stones, even of cut stone, according to measure, sawed with saws, inside and outside, even from the foundation to the coping, and so on the outside to the great court.
Πάντα ταύτα ήσαν εκ λίθων πολυτελών, κατά τα μέτρα των πριονισμένων λίθων, πριονισμένων διά πριονίου, έσωθεν και έξωθεν, εκ θεμελίου μέχρι του γείσου, και έξωθεν έως της μεγάλης αυλής.
10 The foundation was of costly stones, even great stones, stones of seventeen feet and three inches, and stones of thirteen feet and nine inches.
Και το θεμέλιον ήτο εκ λίθων πολυτελών, λίθων μεγάλων, λίθων δέκα πηχών και λίθων οκτώ πηχών.
11 Above were costly stones, even cut stone, according to measure, and cedar wood.
Και επάνωθεν ήσαν λίθοι πολυτελείς, κατά το μέτρον των πριονισμένων λίθων, και κέδροι.
12 The great court around had three courses of cut stone, and a course of cedar beams; like as the inner court of the house of YHWH, and the porch of the house.
Και η μεγάλη αυλή κυκλόθεν ήτο εκ τριών σειρών λίθων πριονισμένων και εκ μιας σειράς κεδρίνων δοκών, καθώς η εσωτέρα αυλή του οίκου του Κυρίου και καθώς η στοά του οίκου.
13 King Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.
Και έστειλεν ο βασιλεύς Σολομών και έλαβε τον Χειράμ εκ της Τύρου.
14 He was the son of a widow of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in bronze; and he was filled with wisdom and understanding and skill, to work all works in bronze. He came to king Solomon, and performed all his work.
Ούτος ήτο υιός γυναικός χήρας εκ φυλής Νεφθαλί, και ο πατήρ αυτού ανήρ Τύριος, χαλκουργός· και ήτο πλήρης τέχνης και συνέσεως και επιστήμης εις το να εργάζηται παν έργον εν χαλκώ. Και ήλθε προς τον βασιλέα Σολομώντα και έκαμε πάντα τα έργα αυτού.
15 For he cast the two pillars of bronze, thirty-one feet was the height of one pillar; and a line of twenty feet and eight inches could encompass the one pillar, and its thickness hollowed out was almost three inches; and so was the second pillar.
Διότι έχυσε τους δύο χαλκίνους στύλους, δεκαοκτώ πηχών ύψους έκαστον στύλον· γραμμή δε δώδεκα πηχών περιεκύκλονεν έκαστον αυτών.
16 He made two capitals of molten bronze, to set on the tops of the pillars: the height of the one capital was eight feet and seven inches, and the height of the other capital was eight feet and seven inches.
Και έκαμεν εκ χυτού χαλκού δύο επιθέματα, διά να θέση αυτά επί τας κεφαλάς των στύλων· το ύψος του ενός επιθέματος πέντε πηχών, και το ύψος του άλλου επιθέματος πέντε πηχών·
17 There were nets of checker work, and wreaths of chain work, for the capitals which were on the top of the pillars; seven for the one capital, and seven for the other capital.
και δίκτυα πλεκτά ειργασμένα αλυσιδωτά εκ συρμάτων, διά τα επιθέματα τα επί της κεφαλής των στύλων· επτά διά το εν επίθεμα, και επτά διά το άλλο επίθεμα.
18 So he made the pomegranates, two rows around on the one network, to cover the capitals that were on the top of the pillars; and he did so for the other capital.
Και έκαμε τους στύλους, και δύο σειράς ροδίων κυκλόθεν επί το εν δίκτυον, διά να σκεπάση με ρόδια τα επιθέματα τα επί της κεφαλής των στύλων· και έκαμε το αυτό εις το άλλο επίθεμα.
19 The capitals that were on the top of the pillars in the porch were of lily work, six feet and eleven inches.
Και τα επιθέματα, τα επί της κεφαλής των στύλων εν τη στοά, ήσαν εργασίας κρίνων τεσσάρων πηχών.
20 And the capitals were on the two pillars, even above and close to the rounded projection which was beside the network. And there were two hundred pomegranates in rows all around on the capital, and the same around the other capital.
Και τα επιθέματα τα επί των δύο στύλων είχον ρόδια και επάνωθεν, πλησίον της κοιλίας, της παρά το δικτυωτόν· και τα ρόδια ήσαν διακόσια κατά σειράν κυκλόθεν εφ' εκάστου επιθέματος.
21 He set up the pillars at the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called its name Jakin; and he set up the left pillar, and called its name Boaz.
Και έστησε τους στύλους εις την στοάν του ναού· και έστησε τον στύλον τον δεξιόν, και εκάλεσε το όνομα αυτού Ιαχείν· και έστησε τον στύλον τον αριστερόν, και εκάλεσε το όνομα αυτού Βοάς.
22 On the top of the pillars was lily work: so was the work of the pillars finished.
Και επί την κεφαλήν των στύλων ήτο εργασία κρίνων· ούτως ετελειώθη η κατασκευή των στύλων.
23 He made the molten sea of seventeen feet and three inches from brim to brim, round in compass, and its height was eight feet and seven inches; and a line of fifty-one feet and eight inches encircled it.
Έκαμεν έτι την χυτήν θάλασσαν, δέκα πηχών από χείλους εις χείλος, στρογγύλην κύκλω· και το ύψος αυτής πέντε πηχών· και γραμμή τριάκοντα πηχών περιεζώννυεν αυτήν κύκλω.
24 Under its brim around there were buds which encircled it, for seventeen feet and three inches, encircling the sea: the buds were in two rows, cast when it was cast.
Και υπό το χείλος αυτής κύκλω ήσαν ανάγλυφα εις σχήμα κολοκύνθης περικυκλούντα αυτήν, δέκα κατά πήχην, περικυκλούντα την θάλασσαν κύκλω· αι δύο σειραί των αναγλύφων ήσαν χυμέναι ομού με αυτήν.
25 It stood on twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east; and the sea was set on them above, and all their backs were toward the center.
Ίστατο δε επί δώδεκα βοών· τρεις έβλεπον προς βορράν, και τρεις έβλεπον προς δυσμάς, και τρεις έβλεπον προς νότον, και τρεις έβλεπον προς ανατολάς· και η θάλασσα έκειτο επ' αυτών· και όλα τα οπίσθια αυτών ήσαν προς τα έσω.
26 It was almost three inches thick: and its brim was worked like the brim of a cup, like the flower of a lily: it held two thousand baths.
Και το πάχος αυτής ήτο μιας παλάμης, και το χείλος αυτής κατεσκευασμένον ως χείλος ποτηρίου, ως άνθος κρίνου· εχώρει δε δύο χιλιάδας βαθ.
27 He made the ten bases of bronze; six feet and eleven inches was the length of one base, and six feet and eleven inches its breadth, and five feet and two inches its height.
Έκαμεν έτι δέκα βάσεις χαλκίνας· τεσσάρων πηχών το μήκος της μιας βάσεως, και τεσσάρων πηχών το πλάτος αυτής, και τριών πηχών το ύψος αυτής.
28 The work of the bases was like this: they had panels; and there were panels between the ledges;
Η δε εργασία των βάσεων ήτο τοιαύτη· είχον συγκλείσματα, και τα συγκλείσματα ήσαν εντός των κιονίσκων.
29 and on the panels that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubim; and on the ledges there was a pedestal above; and beneath the lions and oxen were wreaths of hanging work.
Και επί των συγκλεισμάτων των εντός των κιονίσκων ήσαν λέοντες, βόες και χερουβείμ· και επί των κιονίσκων ήτο άνωθεν το υποβάσταγμα· υποκάτωθεν δε των λεόντων και βοών ήσαν κροσσοί ανάγλυφοι κρεμάμενοι.
30 Every base had four bronze wheels, and axles of bronze; and the four feet of it had supports: beneath the basin were the supports molten, with wreaths at the side of each.
Και εκάστη βάσις είχε τέσσαρας χαλκίνους τροχούς και άξονας χαλκίνους· και αι τέσσαρες γωνίαι αυτής είχον ώμους· υπό τον λουτήρα ήσαν οι ώμοι χυτοί, έκαστος απέναντι των κροσσών.
31 The mouth of it within the capital and above was twenty-one inches: and its mouth was round after the work of a pedestal, two feet and seven inches; and also on its mouth were engravings, and their panels were foursquare, not round.
Και το στόμα αυτής, έσωθεν της κεφαλίδος και άνωθεν, ήτο μία πήχη· ήτο δε το στόμα αυτής στρογγύλον, κατεσκευασμένον εις το υποβάσταγμα, μία πήχη και ημίσεια· και έτι επάνω τούτου του στόματος αυτής ήσαν εγχαράγματα μετά των συγκλεισμάτων αυτών, τετράγωνα όντα, ουχί στρογγύλα.
32 The four wheels were underneath the panels; and the axles of the wheels were in the base: and the height of a wheel was two feet and seven inches.
Και υπό τα συγκλείσματα ήσαν τέσσαρες τροχοί· και οι άξονες των τροχών ηνόνοντο με την βάσιν· και το ύψος εκάστου τροχού ήτο μιας πήχης και ημισείας.
33 The work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel: their axles, and their rims, and their spokes, and their naves, were all molten.
Και η εργασία των τροχών ήτο ως η εργασία του τροχού της αμάξης· οι άξονες αυτών και αι πλήμναι αυτών και επίσωτρα αυτών και αι ακτίνες αυτών ήσαν όλα χυτά.
34 There were four supports at the four corners of each base: its supports were of the base itself.
Και ήσαν τέσσαρες ώμοι εις τας τέσσαρας γωνίας εκάστης βάσεως· και οι ώμοι ήσαν συνέχεια της βάσεως.
35 In the top of the base was there a round compass ten and a quarter inches high; and on the top of the base its stays and its panels were of the same.
Και εν τη κορυφή της βάσεως ήτο στρογγύλον περίζωμα ημισείας πήχης το ύψος· και εν τη κορυφή της βάσεως τα χείλη αυτής και τα συγκλείσματα αυτής ήσαν εκ της αυτής.
36 On the plates of its stays, and on its panels, he engraved cherubim, lions, and palm trees, according to the space of each, with wreaths all around.
Επί δε τας πλάκας των χειλέων αυτής και επί τα συγκλείσματα αυτής, ενεχάραξε χερουβείμ, λέοντας και φοίνικας, κατά αναλογίαν εκάστης, και κροσσούς κύκλω.
37 In this way, he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one measure, and one form.
Κατά τούτον τον τρόπον έκαμε τας δέκα βάσεις· πάσαι είχον το αυτό χύσιμον, το αυτό μέτρον, το αυτό εγχάραγμα.
38 He made ten basins of bronze: one basin contained forty baths; and every basin was six feet and eleven inches; and on every one of the ten bases one basin.
Έκαμεν έτι δέκα λουτήρας χαλκίνους· έκαστος λουτήρ εχώρει τεσσαράκοντα βάθ· έκαστος λουτήρ ήτο τεσσάρων πηχών· και εφ' εκάστην των δέκα βάσεων ήτο εις λουτήρ.
39 He set the bases, five on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house: and he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward, toward the south.
Και έθεσε τας βάσεις, πέντε επί το δεξιόν πλάγιον του οίκου και πέντε επί το αριστερόν πλάγιον του οίκου· και έθεσε την θάλασσαν κατά το δεξιόν πλάγιον του οίκου προς ανατολάς απέναντι του νοτίου μέρους.
40 Hiram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basins. So Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he worked for king Solomon in the house of YHWH:
Και έκαμεν ο Χειράμ τους λουτήρας και τα πτύαρια και τας λεκάνας. Ούτως ετελείωσεν ο Χειράμ κάμνων πάντα τα έργα, τα οποία έκαμεν εις τον βασιλέα Σολομώντα διά τον οίκον του Κυρίου·
41 the two pillars, and the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars; and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars;
τους δύο στύλους και τας σφαίρας των επιθεμάτων, των επί της κεφαλής των δύο στύλων· και τα δύο δικτυωτά, διά να σκεπάζωσι τας δύο σφαίρας των επιθεμάτων των επί της κεφαλής των στύλων·
42 and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks; two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the pillars;
και τετρακόσια ρόδια διά τα δύο δικτυωτά, δύο σειράς ροδίων δι' έκαστον δικτυωτόν, διά να σκεπάζωσι τας δύο σφαίρας των επιθεμάτων των επί των στύλων·
43 and the ten bases, and the ten basins on the bases;
και τας δέκα βάσεις και τους δέκα λουτήρας επί των βάσεων·
44 and one sea, and the twelve oxen under the sea;
και την μίαν θάλασσαν, και τους δώδεκα βόας υποκάτω της θαλάσσης·
45 and the pots, and the shovels, and the basins: even all these vessels, which Hiram made for king Solomon, in the house of YHWH, were of burnished bronze.
και τους λέβητας και τα πτυάρια και τας λεκάνας· πάντα ταύτα τα σκεύη, τα οποία ο Χειράμ έκαμεν εις τον βασιλέα Σολομώντα διά τον οίκον του Κυρίου, ήσαν εκ χαλκού λαμπρού.
46 The king cast them in the plain of the Jordan, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarethan.
Εν τη πεδιάδι του Ιορδάνου έχυσεν αυτά ο βασιλεύς, εν γη αργιλλώδει, μεταξύ Σοκχώθ και Σαρθάν.
47 Solomon left all the vessels unweighed, because they were exceeding many: the weight of the bronze could not be found out.
Και ο Σολομών αφήκε πάντα τα σκεύη αζύγιστα, διότι ήσαν πολλά σφόδρα· το βάρος του χαλκού δεν ηδύνατο λογαριασθή.
48 Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of YHWH: the golden altar, and the table whereupon the show bread was, of gold;
Και έκαμεν ο Σολομών πάντα τα σκεύη τα του οίκου του Κυρίου, το θυσιαστήριον το χρυσούν, και την τράπεζαν την χρυσήν, επί της οποίας ετίθεντο οι άρτοι της προθέσεως,
49 and the lampstands, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the inner sanctuary, of pure gold; and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold;
και τας λυχνίας, πέντε εκ δεξιών και πέντε εξ αριστερών, έμπροσθεν του χρηστηρίου, εκ χρυσίου καθαρού, και τα άνθη και τους λύχνους και τας λαβίδας εκ χρυσού,
50 and the cups, and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and the fire pans, of pure gold; and the hinges, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, of the temple, of gold.
και τας φιάλας και τα λυχνοψάλιδα και τας λεκάνας και τους κρατήρας και τα θυμιατήρια εκ χρυσίου καθαρού, και τους στρόφιγγας εκ χρυσίου, διά τας θύρας του οίκου του εσωτάτου, του αγίου των αγίων, και διά τας θύρας του οίκου του ναού.
51 Thus all the work that Solomon performed in the house of YHWH was finished. Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated, the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, and put them in the treasuries of the house of YHWH.
Και συνετελέσθη άπαν το έργον, το οποίον έκαμεν ο βασιλεύς Σολομών διά τον οίκον του Κυρίου. Και εισέφερεν ο Σολομών τα αφιερώματα Δαβίδ του πατρός αυτού· το αργύριον και το χρυσίον, και τα σκεύη έθεσεν εν τοις θησαυροίς του οίκου του Κυρίου.
