1 John 3
1 See what kind of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God; and we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know him.
Görün Ata bizə necə məhəbbət göstərib ki, biz Allahın övladları adlanırıq! Doğrudan da, beləyik! Dünya Onu tanımadığına görə bizi də tanımır.
2 Beloved, now we are children of God, and it is not yet revealed what we will be. We know that, when he is revealed, we will be like him; for we will see him just as he is.
Ey sevimlilər, indi biz Allahın övladlarıyıq, amma nə olacağımız hələ üzə çıxmayıb. Lakin bilirik ki, Məsih zühur edəndə biz Ona bənzəyəcəyik, çünki Onu olduğu kimi görəcəyik.
3 Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
Ona bu cür ümid bağlayan hər kəs O pak olduğu kimi özünü pak edir.
4 Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.
Günah edən hər kəs Qanunu da pozar, çünki günah Qanunu pozmaqdır.
5 You know that he was revealed to take away sins, and in him is no sin.
Siz bilirsiniz ki, Məsih günahları aradan qaldırmaq üçün zühur etdi. Onda günah yoxdur.
6 Whoever remains in him does not sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.
Onda qalan hər kəs günahını davam etdirməz. Günahını davam etdirən hər kəs nə Onu görüb, nə də Onu tanıyır.
7 Children, let no one lead you astray. He who does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
Ey övladlar, heç kəs sizi aldatmasın; saleh iş görən şəxs Məsihin saleh olduğu kimi salehdir.
8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, to destroy the works of the devil.
Günahını davam etdirən şəxs iblisdəndir, çünki iblis başlanğıcdan bəri günah edir. Allahın Oğlu buna görə zühur etdi ki, iblisin əməllərini puça çıxarsın.
9 Whoever is born of God does not commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
Allahdan doğulan hər kəs günahını davam etdirməz, çünki Allahın toxumu onda qalır. O, günahını davam etdirə bilməz, çünki Allahdan doğulub.
10 In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil. Whoever does not do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who does not love his brother.
Kimin Allahın övladı, kiminsə iblisin övladı olması bundan aydın olur: saleh iş görməyən, həmçinin qardaşını sevməyən hər kəs Allahdan deyil.
11 For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another;
Əvvəldən bəri eşitdiyiniz xəbər budur: bir-birimizi sevək.
12 unlike Cain, who was of the evil one, and killed his brother. Why did he kill him? Because his works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
Şərdən olub qardaşını öldürən Qabil kimi olmayaq. O, qardaşını niyə öldürdü? Ona görə ki öz əməlləri şər, qardaşının əməlləri isə saleh idi.
13 Therefore do not be surprised, brothers, if the world hates you.
Beləliklə, qardaşlar, dünya sizə nifrət edirsə, heyrətlənməyin.
14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who does not love remains in death.
Qardaşlarımızı sevdiyimizə görə biz bilirik ki, ölümdən həyata keçmişik. Sevməyənsə ölümdə qalır.
15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has everlasting life remaining in him. (aiōnios g166)
Qardaşına nifrət edən hər kəs qatildir. Bildiyiniz kimi, heç bir qatil özündə qalan əbədi həyata malik deyil. (aiōnios g166)
16 By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
Məhəbbətin nə olduğunu bundan anladıq ki, Məsih Öz canını bizim üçün fəda etdi. Biz də öz canımızı qardaşlarımız üçün fəda etməliyik.
17 But whoever has the world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and closes his heart of compassion against him, how does the love of God remain in him?
Əgər kimsə dünya malına sahib olarkən qardaşını ehtiyac içində görüb ona rəhmi gəlmirsə, Allah məhəbbəti onda necə qala bilər?
18 Little children, let us not love in word only, neither with the tongue only, but in deed and truth.
Ey övladlar, sözdə və dildə deyil, əməldə və həqiqətdə sevək.
19 And by this we will know that we are of the truth, and persuade our heart before him,
Bununla həqiqətdən olduğumuzu biləcəyik və ürəyimiz bizi məhkum edirsə, ürəyimizi Allahın önündə sakitləşdirəcəyik. Çünki Allah bizim ürəyimizdən üstündür və hər şeyi bilir.
20 because if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
21 Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God;
Ey sevimlilər, əgər ürəyimiz bizi məhkum etmirsə, demək, Allahın hüzurunda cəsarətlə danışa bilərik
22 and whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.
və Ondan nə diləyiriksə, alırıq. Ona görə ki Onun əmrlərinə riayət edirik və önündə Ona məqbul olan işlər görürük.
23 This is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as he commanded us.
Onun əmri də budur ki, biz Onun Oğlu İsa Məsihin adına iman edək və Onun bizə əmr etdiyi kimi bir-birimizi sevək.
24 He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.
Onun əmrlərinə riayət edən şəxs Allahda, Allah da onda qalır. Onun bizdə qaldığını bu yolla, bizə verdiyi Ruh vasitəsilə bilirik.
