< 1 Corinthians 11 >
1 Be imitators of me, even as I also am of Christ.
Khrista nunchan inchupu ki ni anghan, ku nunchan inchu ngei ni roi.
2 Now I praise you, that you remember me in all things, and hold firm the traditions, even as I delivered them to you.
Mi nin riettit ngâi sik le nangni ki minchunangei nin jûi tit ngâi sikin nangni ki minpâk.
3 But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God.
Aniatachu, pasal lu chu Khrista ani, nupang lu chu pasal ani, male Khrista lu chu Pathien ani ti nin riet rangin ku nuom.
4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head.
Masikin pasal lukhum inkhum puma inkhômna taka chubaitho ngâi mini, thurchi misîr ngâi ngei mini chu Khrista an lu hah mâimôk an shak ani.
5 But every woman praying or prophesying with her head unveiled dishonors her head. For it is one and the same thing as if she were shaved.
Male nupang tukhom lukhum inkhum loia inkhômna taka chubaitho ngâi mini, thurchi misîr ngâi ngei mini khom an lu, an pasal mâimôk an shak ania; ma anga nupang chu nupang an sam zietminkol leh ateina om mak ani.
6 For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered.
Nupangin lukhum ân khum nuom nônchu epin ep let rese, ma anga nupang rangin samep mo, luvoi mo hi inzakpui aomin chu lukhum tho rese.
7 For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man.
Pasal chu Pathien rimil in-angpui le Pathien roiinpuina minlang ngâipu ani sikin lukhum ân khum rang nâng mak. Aniatachu nupang chu pasal roiinpuina minlang ngâinu ania;
8 For man is not from woman, but woman from man;
pasal hih nupang renga sin nimaka, aninâka nupang chu pasal renga sin ani.
9 for neither was man created for the woman, but woman for the man.
Pasal hih nupang jâra sin khom nimaka, aninâka nupang rêk chu pasal jâra sin ani.
10 For this cause the woman ought to have authority on her head, because of the angels.
Masikin vântîrtonngei sika han nupangin pasal rachamneina nuoia om ani ti indangna rangin lukhum a tho rang ani.
11 Nevertheless, neither is the woman independent of the man, nor the man independent of the woman, in the Lord.
Nikhomrese, Pumapa taka ei ringnuna hin nupang hih pasal boiin chu om thei maka, pasal khom nupang boiin chu om thei mak.
12 For as woman came from man, so a man also comes through a woman; but all things are from God.
Nupang hih pasal renga sin ani anghan pasal hih nupang renga suok ania; male jâttin hih Pathien renga ânzir let ani.
13 Judge for yourselves. Is it appropriate that a woman pray to God unveiled?
Mindon ta u, nupang lukhum inkhum loia inkhômna taka Pathien kôm chubaitho ânhoi mo?
14 Doesn't even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him?
Pasal sam minsei chu ata rangin neinun inzakom ani ti nin inzirpui mulungrîl khomin a riet nimak mo?
15 But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her, for her hair is given to her for a covering.
Nupang sam minsei chu ama roiinpuina ania, a sam hah ama inkhum rang piela pêk ani.
16 But if anyone seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither do God's churches.
Aniatachu, tumakhatin hi roi hih a makhal an om lekhom, mapêna hi chu balam dang reng dôn mak me, Pathien koiindangngei khomin dôn mak ngei.
17 But in giving you this command, I do not praise you, that you come together not for the better but for the worse.
Nikhomrese, nangni ki rilnangei zomin chu nangni minpâk mu-ung, nin satna rang niloiin nin siet uolna rangin nin inkhôm ngâi sikin.
18 For first of all, when you come together in the church, I hear that divisions exist among you, and I partly believe it.
Amotontaka, nin intûpnangei han doi pâlngei an om ti mîn min rila; male ma hih dik lekhom ki iem ani.
19 For there also must be factions among you, that those who are approved may be revealed among you.
(Midik ngei hah an inlang theina rangin nin lâia insenna aom rang piel ani.)
20 When therefore you assemble yourselves together, it is not the Lord's supper that you eat.
Apâla nin intûp zora nin sâk ngâi hah Pumapa Jânbu nimak.
21 For in your eating each one takes his own supper first. One is hungry, and another is drunk.
Nin nêkin nin bu pak motona nin nêk baka, senkhat nin inrûi lâiin senkhat nin von achâm ngâi sikin.
22 What, do you not have houses to eat and to drink in? Or do you despise God's church, and put them to shame who do not have? What should I tell you? Should I praise you? In this I do not praise you.
Nin sâk nin nêkna rangin inngei nin dônloi mo? Aninônchu, Pathien koiindang en min nuoiin mi intak ngei hah mâimôk nin shak mini? Hi chungroia hin imo ti-le mi nin minhoi? Nangni ki minpâk rang mini? Nangni minpâk tet mu-ung.
23 For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which he was betrayed took bread.
Inchuna nangni ke pêk ngei hah Pumapa kôm renga ka man kêng: Pumapa Jisua minsûra aom ni jâna han vâipôl hâr a lâka.
24 When he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body, which is for you. Do this in memory of me."
Pathien kôm râisânchong a misîr suole a khoia, “Hi ma hih ka taksa nin ruthûla pêk rang hah ani. Mi nin riettitna rangin ma hih tho ngâi roi,” a tia.
25 In the same way he also took the cup, after the meal, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink, in memory of me."
Ma angdên han, jânbu an nêk suole khuri khom a lâka, “Hi khuri hih Pathien chonginkhitna athar ki thisena mindet ani. Nin buong racham mi nin riettitna rangin tho ngâi roi,” a tia.
26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
Zoratin hi vâipôl hih nin sâka, khuri renga nin buong racham a juong nôk mâka chu Pumapa thina hah nin phuong ani.
27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord's cup in a manner unworthy will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.
Masikin tukhom chukloi pumin Pumapa vâipôl hih nin sâka, a khuri renga buong ngei kai chu Pumapa taksa le thisen chunga theiloi chang nin tih, tiin ajûi sa ngâi ani.
28 But let a person examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.
Masikin mitin inphuol bak ungla, masuole vâipôl hah sâkin male khuri renga hah buong roi.
29 For he who eats and drinks eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he does not discern the body.
Vâipôl sâkpu le khuri renga buongpu ngei han Pumapa taksa omtie nin riet minthâr nônchu nin sâk le nin buong sika han nin chunga roijêkna nin mintung ani.
30 For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep.
Masika han kêng nin inzala, damloiin nin oma male mi tamtak nin thi.
31 For if we discerned ourselves, we would not be judged.
Eini nanâkin inphuol bak ila chu Pathien roijêkna nuoia om no uh.
32 But when we are judged, we are punished by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
Aniatachu rammuol leh munkhata theiloi ei chang loina rangin Pumapa jêkin le dûkmintongin ei om ngâi.
33 Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait one for another.
Masikin, ka lâibungngei le sarnungei, Pumapa jânbu ot ranga nin intûpin inngâk inlôm ngâi roi.
34 But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest your coming together be for judgment. The rest I will set in order whenever I come.
Nin intûpin Pathien roijêkna nuoia nin omloina rangin tutu khom a vonchâmin chu a ina nêk rese. Roi dangngei nâm chu ko hong tika hong min sûk ki tih.
