< Romans 1 >
1 Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the Good News of God,
Jesuh Khrih kah sal, caeltueihlaa khuetih Pathen kah olthangthen hama coelh kai Paul,
2 which he promised before through his prophets in the holy Scriptures,
Cabu cim khuiah amah kah tonghmarhoek lamloh ol a khueh tangtae,
3 concerning his Son, who was born of the offspring of David according to the flesh,
A capa kawng tah pumsa ah David kah a tiingan lamkah ha thoeng.
4 who was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,
Mamih kah Boeipa Jesuh Khrih tah, aka duek kah thohkoepnah lamloh cimcaihnah mueihla tarhing la thaomnah dongah Pathen capalaa hmoel coeng.
5 through whom we received grace and the office of apostle, for obedience of faith among all the nations, for his name's sake;
Anih dongah lungvatnah neh a ming yueng la namtom boeih taengah tangnah kah olngainah caeltueih te n'dang uh.
6 among whom you are also called to belong to Jesus Christ;
Te rhoek lakli ah nangmih khaw Jesuh Khrih kah a khue la na om uh.
7 to all who are in Rome, loved by God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Rom ah aka omtih Pathen kah thintlo, hlangcimlaa khuerhoek boeih, nangmih taengah mamih kah Pa Pathen neh Boeipa Jesuh Khrih lamkah ngaimongnah neh lungvatnah soep saeh.
8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is proclaimed throughout the whole world.
Nangmih kah tangnah te Diklai boeih aha doek uh dongah nangmih boeih ham Jesuh Khrih lamloh ka Pathen te lamhma la ka uem.
9 For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the Good News of his Son, how I constantly mention you
Pathen tah kai ham laipai la om. Amahte a capa kah olthangthen dongah ka mueihla neh tho ka thueng. Te vanbangla nangmih poekkoepnahte ka thangthuinah dongah phat ka khueh yoeyah.
10 always in my prayers, requesting, if by any means now at last I may succeed by the will of God to come to you.
Pathen kah kongaih neh nangmih taengah pawk ham vai vai tah bet khui koinih kana ti.
11 For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you;
Nangmih aka duel la mueihla kutdoete nangmih taengah ka pak bet ham ni nangmihte hmuh ham ka rhingda.
12 that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
Nangmih neh kai kah tangnah he nangmih taeng khat khat soah aka hloephloei la om.
13 Now I do not desire to have you unaware, brothers, that I often planned to come to you, and was hindered so far, that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among the other non-Jewish people.
Manucarhoek nangmihte mangvawt sak laeh ka ngaih moenih. Te ni nangmih taengla lo ham ka cai ninoe he. Tedae tahae hil he n'kang pueng. Te daengah ni nangmih taengah khaw, a tloe namtomrhoek taengah khawa thaih pakhat la ka om van eh.
14 I have an obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish.
Greekrhoek neh kholong rhoek taengah, aka cueih neh aka ang taengah, laiba ka khueh.
15 So, for my part, I am eager to preach the Good News to you also who are in Rome.
Te dongah ni Rom kah nangmih taengah khaw phong ham ka yakvawt.
16 For I am not ashamed of the Good News, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.
Olthangthen ham he ka yak pawh. Te tah Pathen kah thaomnah neh aka tangnah boeih ham tah lamhmaah Judah neh Greek ham khaw khangnah la om.
17 For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, "But the righteous will live by faith."
“Hlang dueng tah tangnah loha hing sak ni,” tilaa daek. Te dongah Pathen kah duengnah tah tangnah lamloh tangnah dongah pumphoe coeng.
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people, who suppress the truth by unrighteousness,
Pathen kah kosi tah oltak boethae neh aka vueinan hlang rhoek kah boethae neh hlangrhong boeih soah vaan lamloh pumphoe coeng.
19 because what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.
Pathen tah amih taengah a phoe pah coeng dongah te nen te amih taengah mingpha la aka om Pathen te hmat saeh.
20 For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made. So they are without excuse. (aïdios )
Diklai suentae lamkah a kutngo hmuhmueh te phaeng a tueng la n'yakming. A thaomnah neh Pathen a coengnah tah dungyan la om. Te dongah amih te basa tloel la om. (aïdios )
21 Because, although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or give him thanks, but their thinking became nonsense, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Pathen tea ming uh dae Pathen bangla thangpom uh pawt tih uem uh pawh. Tedae a poeknah dongah moelh uh tih a thinko lungmong kotalh la hmuep coeng.
22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools,
Hlang cueih la om ham cai uh dae dap uh coeng.
23 and traded the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal humans, and of birds, and four-footed animals, and crawling creatures.
Pathen taengkah aka kuei thangpomnah te, aka hmawn thai hlang, vaa, rhamsa neh rhulcai kah mueimae, mueisa laa thovael uh.
24 Therefore God also abandoned them in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the degrading of their bodies among themselves,
Te dongah Pathen loh amihte amamih neh amamih a pum te yahbai ham amih kah thinko hoehhamnah dongah rhongingnah taenglaa paek coeng.
25 who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. (aiōn )
Amih loh Pathen kah oltak te laithae neha thovael uh. Te dongah aka suen lakaha suentae te tho a thueng thil uh tiha bawk uh. Amah tah kumhal ah uemom la om pai. Amen (aiōn )
26 For this reason, God abandoned them to their degrading passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for that which is contrary to nature.
Te dongah Pathen loh amihte rhaidaeng kah a huebawtnah donglaa voeih. Huta long khawa pongthohnah aka omnoek te aka omnoek neh a kingkhalh laa thovael uh coeng.
27 Likewise also the men, giving up natural relations with women, burned in their lust toward one another, men with men, committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error.
Te banghui la tongparhoek long khaw huta neh pongthohnah aka omnoek tea hlahpham uh. Pakhat taengah a kocuknah neha cahoeh uh dongah tongpa neh tongpa rhaidaeng la thoeng uh. Te dongah a tholhhiknah neha kuek dantatnah te a yook uh.
28 Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God abandoned them to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not right;
A mingnah khuiah Pathente khaw om sak ham a soepsoei uh pawt vanbangla Pathen loh amihte lungbueia lolhmaih laa khueh pah. Te dongah saii hamkoi te khaw khuetnet uh pawh.
29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil habits, secret slanderers,
Boethae, halangnah, phayoenah, halhkanah, boeih neh baetawt uh tih uethnetnah, ngawnnah, tohhaemnah, tuengkhuepnah, kothetnah, hlangthetkung khaw bae.
30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Hohmuh, Pathen aka thii nah, hnaephnapkung, buhueng aka pom, hlangoek, boethae aka phuengkung, a manu napa taengah aka lokhak,
31 foolish, promise-breakers, heartless, unforgiving, unmerciful;
lungmong rhoek, olpok rhoek, kotalh rhoek, muenying muenyang la om uh.
32 who, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.
Te bang khosarhoek tea duek uh tueng tila Pathen kah rhilama ming uh lalah amamih bueng kah a saii bueng kolla te bang aka saiirhoek te khawa rhoi uh.
