< Romans 6 >

1 What should we say then? Should we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Hettelah pawiteh bangtelamaw dei awh han. Lungmanae a pung nahanelah yonnae hoehoe sak awh han na maw.
2 Absolutely not. We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?
Sak a mahoeh. Yonnae dawk kadout e naw teh hote yonnae dawk bangtelah vai bout a hring toung vaw.
3 Or do you not know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Khrih Jisuh thung baptisma ka coe e maimouh teh a duenae thung baptisma coe awh tie na panuek awh hoeh maw.
4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Hottelah maimouh teh a duenae dawk baptisma coe e lahoi, ama hoi cungtalah pakawp e lah o awh. Khrih ni Na pa e bahu lahoi duenae koehoi a thaw e patetlah maimouh hai hring kathanae dawk hring awh hane doeh.
5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;
A duenae koe ama hoi rei dout awh pawiteh, a thawnae koe vah ama hoi rei thaw a van han.
6 knowing this, that our old self was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.
Maimae tami karuem teh Khrih hoi cungtalah thingpalam dawk thei lah ao toe. Hottelah nangmae tami karuem takthai raphoenae teh yonnae san lah bout o awh hoeh na hanlah tie panue awh.
7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.
Ka dout tangcoung naw teh yon dawk hoi a hlout toe.
8 But if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him;
Maimouh ni Khrih hoi cungtalah dout pawiteh ama hoi cungtalah hring han telah yuem awh.
9 knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no more has dominion over him.
Duenae koehoi ka thaw e Khrih teh bout dout mahoeh tie panue awh. Duenae ni Bawipa teh nâtuek hai uk thai mahoeh toe.
10 For the death that he died, he died to sin one time; but the life that he lives, he lives to God.
Khrih teh yonnae dawkvah vai touh lahoi kakhoutlah a due toe. Atu e hringnae teh Cathut dawk doeh a hring toe.
11 In the same way, consider yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Hot patetlah nangmouh hai yon dawk teh kadout e lah na o awh teh, Cathut dawk teh Khrih Jisuh lahoi kahring telah namahoima kâpouk awh.
12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
Hatdawkvah nangmae kadout thai e takthai ngainae tarawi hanelah yon koe kâ uk sak awh hanh.
13 Neither present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
Nangmae na tak puengcangnaw teh lanhoehnae lah yonnae koe poe awh hanh lawih. Hothlak teh duenae koehoi bout kahring e patetlah, nangmae tak puengcangnaw teh lannae lah coung sak awh nateh Cathut koe namamouh hoi namamouh kâpoe awh.
14 For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace.
Bangkongtetpawiteh, nangmouh teh kâlawk rahim na awm awh toung laipalah, lungmanae rahim na o awh toung dawkvah, yon ni nangmouh lathueng kâ bout tawn mahoeh toe.
15 What then? Should we sin because we are not under law, but under grace? Absolutely not.
Hat pawiteh, bangtelamaw. Maimouh teh kâlawk rahim awm toung laipalah, Cathut lungmanae rahim o awh toung dawkvah, yon bout sak awh han rah maw. Khoeroe sak mahoeh.
16 Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, whether of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?
17 But thanks be to God, that, whereas you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were entrusted.
Nangmouh teh yon san lah na o awh ei nakunghai, atuvah na coe awh tangcoung e cangkhainae hah na ngâi awh dawkvah, Cathut lungmanae a len tangngak.
18 Being made free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.
Yonae dawk hoi na hlout awh teh, lannae san lah na o awh toung dawkvah, Cathut lungmanae teh ka pholen.
19 I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh, for as you presented your members as slaves to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as slaves to righteousness for sanctification.
Hottelah ka ti navah, na tha a youn dawkvah hottelah ka dei e doeh. Ahmaloe teh namamae takthai puengcangnaw hah kahawihoehe hnosaknae dawkvah san lah na la hno awh e patetlah, atuteh namamae takthai puengcangnaw hah thoungnae hno sak nahanelah, lannae san lah poe awh nateh, thoungnae koe phat awh.
20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.
Nangmouh teh yon san lah na o awh navah lannae dawk hoi na hlout awh.
21 What fruit then did you have at that time in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
Hatnavah atu na tawksaknae kayanae dawk hoi bangmaw hawinae na hmu awh vaw. Hot naw e a poutnae teh duenae doeh.
22 But now, being made free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit of sanctification, and the result of everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
Hatei, atuteh yonnae dawk hoi na hlout awh toung dawkvah, Cathut e san lah na o awh teh thoungnae apaw hah na coe awh. Apoutnae koehai a yungyoe hringnae na pang awh han. (aiōnios g166)
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is everlasting life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
Yon phu teh duenae doeh. Cathut ni na poe e poehno teh maimae Bawipa Khrih Jisuh thung yungyoe hringnae doeh. (aiōnios g166)
