< Revelation 20 >

1 I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. (Abyssos g12)
ⲁ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ⲉⲣⲉ ⳿ⲡϣⲟϣⲧ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲗⲏⲥⲓⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉϥϫⲓϫ. (Abyssos g12)
2 He seized the serpent, the ancient snake, which is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years,
ⲃ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲇⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲡⲓϩⲟϥ ⲡⲓⲁⲣⲭⲉⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲇⲓ⳿ⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥⲟⲛϩϥ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ.
3 and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years were finished. After this, he must be freed for a short time. (Abyssos g12)
ⲅ̅ⲁϥϩⲓⲧϥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲩⲛ ⲁϥⲙⲁ⳿ϣⲑⲁⲙ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲃ ⲥⲁ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ϣⲁⲧⲟⲩϫⲱⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓϣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ϩⲱϯ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟⲗϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛⲕⲉⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ. (Abyssos g12)
4 I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as did not worship the beast nor his image, and did not receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. They lived, and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
ⲇ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲁⲩϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϩⲓϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϯϩⲁⲡ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲛⲓⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁⲩϧⲟⲑⲃⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲧⲉϥϩⲩⲕⲱⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩϭⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥⲧⲉⲃⲥ ⳿ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲧⲉϩⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧⲟⲩϫⲓϫ ⲁⲩⲱⲛϧ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ.
5 The rest of the dead did not live until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
ⲉ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲡⲥⲉⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲱⲛϧ ϣⲁⲧⲟⲩϫⲱⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓϣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ ⲑⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ϯⲁⲛⲁⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓⲥ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩⲓϯ.
6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him one thousand years.
ⲋ̅ⲱⲟⲩ⳿ⲛⲓⲁⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲁⲅⲓⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲉϥ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲁⲛⲁⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓⲥ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩⲓϯ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉϥϫⲉⲙ ⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲱϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁϩⲃ̅ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲏⲃ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉⲉⲣⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓϣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ.
7 And after the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison,
ⲍ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲩϣⲁⲛϫⲱⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓϣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉⲃⲉⲗ ⳿ⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲕⲟ.
8 and he will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war; the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
ⲏ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲉⲃⲓⲁⲓⲕ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ϥⲧⲟⲩ ⲗⲁⲕϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲅⲱⲅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲁⲅⲱⲅ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲱⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲡⲟⲗⲉⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲧⲟⲩⲏⲡⲓ ⲟⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓϣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲫⲓⲟⲙ.
9 They went up over the breadth of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints, and the beloved city, and fire came down out of heaven and devoured them.
ⲑ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ϯⲟⲩⲏϣⲥⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲕⲱϯ ⳿ⲉϯⲡⲁⲣⲉⲙⲃⲟⲗⲏ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲅⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⳿ⲙⲃⲉⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲫϯ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲙⲟⲩ.
10 The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever. (aiōn g165, Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
ⲓ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲇⲓ⳿ⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲧϥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϯⲗⲩⲙⲛⲏ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⲉⲑⲙⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲑⲏⲛ ⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲯⲉⲩⲇⲟ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲃⲁⲥⲁⲛⲓⲍⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲣϩ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲉⲛⲉϩ. (aiōn g165, Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
11 I saw a great white throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. There was found no place for them.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲟⲃϣ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲫⲏⲉⲧϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϩⲓϫⲱϥ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲫⲱⲧ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲁ⳿ⲧϩⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥϩⲟ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩϫⲉⲙ ⲙⲁ⳿ⲛⲧⲱⲟⲩ.
12 I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲉⲩⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛϫⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛⲕⲉϫⲱⲙ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲫⲁ ⳿ⲡⲱⲛϧ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϯϩⲁⲡ ⳿ⲉⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲏⲉⲧ⳿ⲥϧⲏⲟⲩⲧ ϩⲓ ⲡⲓϫⲱⲙ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ϩⲃⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ.
13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and hell gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works. (Hadēs g86)

14 Death and hell were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. (Hadēs g86, Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲁⲙⲉⲛϯ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϯⲗⲩⲙⲛⲏ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⲉⲑⲙⲟϩ ϩⲓ ⲑⲏⲛ. (Hadēs g86, Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
15 If anyone was not found written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the lake of fire. (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
