< Psalms 64 >

1 [For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] Hear my voice, God, in my complaint. Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
Dawid dwom. Me Nyankopɔn, tie me, bere a mereka me haw; bɔ me kra ho ban fi ɔtamfo ahunahuna ho.
2 Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the noisy crowd of the ones doing evil;
Fa me sie fi amumɔyɛfo agyinatu ho, ne nnebɔneyɛfo pɔwbɔ ho.
3 who sharpen their tongue like a sword, and aim their arrows, deadly words,
Wɔsew wɔn tɛkrɛma sɛ afoa na wɔde atirimɔden nsɛm sɔn sɛ mmɛmma werɛmfo.
4 to shoot innocent men from ambushes. They shoot at him suddenly and fearlessly.
Wofi ahintawee mu, tow bɔ onipa a ne ho nni asɛm; wɔtow bɔ no mpofirim a wonsuro.
5 They encourage themselves in evil plans. They talk about laying snares secretly. They say, "Who will see them?"
Wɔhyehyɛ wɔn ho wɔn ho nkuran wɔ wɔn amumɔyɛ nhyehyɛe ho, wɔka sɛnea wobesum wɔn mfiri asie; wɔka se, “Hena na obehu yɛn?”
6 They plot injustice; they hide a well-conceived plan. Surely man's mind and heart are cunning.
Wɔbɔ ntɛnkyew ho pɔw na wɔka se, “Yɛayɛ nhyehyɛe a ɛso nni koraa!” Ampa ara onipa koma ne nʼadwene yɛ anifere.
7 But God will shoot at them. They will be suddenly struck down with an arrow.
Nanso Onyankopɔn bɛto bɛmma abɔ wɔn; na wɔbɛhwe fam prɛko pɛ.
8 Their own tongues shall ruin them. All who see them will shake their heads.
Ɔbɛdan wɔn ankasa tɛkrɛma atia wɔn na ɔde wɔn aba ɔsɛe mu; na wɔn a wobehu wɔn nyinaa de animka bɛbɔ wɔn ti nko.
9 All humankind shall be afraid. They shall declare the work of God, and shall wisely ponder what he has done.
Adesamma nyinaa besuro; wɔbɛpae mu aka Onyankopɔn nnwuma na wɔasusuw nea wayɛ ho.
10 The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall take refuge in him. All the upright in heart shall praise him.
Ma atreneefo nni ahurusi wɔ Awurade mu na wɔmpɛ guankɔbea wɔ no mu; ma wɔn a wɔn koma mu tew nyinaa nyi no ayɛ! Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo.
