< Psalms 64 >
1 [For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] Hear my voice, God, in my complaint. Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
Aka mawt ham David kah Tingtoenglung Pathen aw ka kohuetnah ol he han ya lah. Thunkha kah birhihnah lamloh ka hingnah he hang kueinah lah.
2 Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the noisy crowd of the ones doing evil;
Thaehuet rhoek kah baecenol neh, boethae aka saii rhoihui kut lamkah, kai nan thuh.
3 who sharpen their tongue like a sword, and aim their arrows, deadly words,
A lai te cunghang bangla haat tih, a ol khaa te thaltang la a nuen uh.
4 to shoot innocent men from ambushes. They shoot at him suddenly and fearlessly.
A cuemthuek te a huephael lamloh a nuen tih, anih te buengrhuet a kah uh khaw rhih uh pawh.
5 They encourage themselves in evil plans. They talk about laying snares secretly. They say, "Who will see them?"
Ol thae doek ham amamih thaphoh uh thae tih, “Hlaeh tung uh sih lamtah unim aka hmuh ve?,” a ti uh.
6 They plot injustice; they hide a well-conceived plan. Surely man's mind and heart are cunning.
Dumlai khaw a phuelhthaih uh tih, “Poeknah he khak n'uep coeng,” a tiuh. Te dongah hlang kah lungbuei khui he, a dung la om.
7 But God will shoot at them. They will be suddenly struck down with an arrow.
Tedae amih te Pathen loh thaltang neh a kah buengrhuet vetih, hmasoe la om uh ni.
8 Their own tongues shall ruin them. All who see them will shake their heads.
Te vaengah amamih kah olka a tongtah uh te, aka hmuh boeih loh yong uh ni.
9 All humankind shall be afraid. They shall declare the work of God, and shall wisely ponder what he has done.
Tedae hlang tom loh a rhih uh vaengah, Pathen kah a bisai te a thui uh vetih, a khoboe te a lungming puei uh ni.
10 The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall take refuge in him. All the upright in heart shall praise him.
Aka dueng te BOEIPA ah a kohoe saeh lamtah amah dongah ying saeh. Lungbuei aka thuem boeih khaw thangthen uh saeh.
