Psalms 63

1 [A Psalm by David, when he was in the desert of Judah.] God, you are my God. I will earnestly seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for you, in a dry and weary land, where there is no water.

൧ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം; ദാവീദ് യെഹൂദാമരുഭൂമിയിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നകാലത്ത് എഴുതിയത്. ദൈവമേ, അങ്ങ് എന്റെ ദൈവം; അതികാലത്ത് ഞാൻ അങ്ങയെ അന്വേഷിക്കും; വെള്ളമില്ലാതെ ഉണങ്ങി വരണ്ട ദേശത്ത് എന്റെ ഉള്ളം അങ്ങേയ്ക്കായി ദാഹിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ദേഹം അങ്ങേയ്ക്കായി കാംക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

2 So I have seen you in the sanctuary, watching your power and your glory.

൨അങ്ങനെ അവിടുത്തെ ബലവും മഹത്വവും കാണുവാൻ ഞാൻ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ അങ്ങേയ്ക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

3 Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you.

൩അവിടുത്തെ ദയ ജീവനെക്കാൾ നല്ലതാകുന്നു; എന്റെ അധരങ്ങൾ അങ്ങയെ സ്തുതിക്കും.

4 So I will bless you while I live. I will lift up my hands in your name.

൪എന്റെ ജീവകാലം മുഴുവൻ ഞാൻ അങ്ങനെ അവിടുത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തും; തിരുനാമത്തിൽ ഞാൻ എന്റെ കൈകളെ മലർത്തും.

5 My soul shall be satisfied as with the richest food. My mouth shall praise you with joyful lips,

൫എന്റെ കിടക്കയിൽ അങ്ങയെ ഓർക്കുകയും രാത്രിയാമങ്ങളിൽ അവിടുത്തെ ധ്യാനിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ

6 when I remember you on my bed, and think about you in the night watches.

൬എന്റെ പ്രാണന് മജ്ജയും മേദസ്സുംകൊണ്ട് എന്നപോലെ തൃപ്തിവരുന്നു; എന്റെ വായ് സന്തോഷമുള്ള അധരങ്ങളാൽ അങ്ങയെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നു.

7 For you have been my help. I will rejoice in the shadow of your wings.

൭അവിടുന്ന് എനിക്ക് സഹായമായിത്തീർന്നുവല്ലോ; തിരുച്ചിറകിൻ നിഴലിൽ ഞാൻ ഘോഷിച്ചാനന്ദിക്കുന്നു.

8 My soul stays close to you. Your right hand holds me up.

൮എന്റെ ഉള്ളം അങ്ങയോട് പറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അങ്ങയുടെ വലങ്കൈ എന്നെ താങ്ങുന്നു.

9 But those who seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

൯എന്നാൽ എനിക്ക് പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നവർ ഭൂമിയുടെ അധോഭാഗങ്ങളിലേക്ക് ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോകും.

10 They shall be given over to the power of the sword. They shall be jackal food.

൧൦അവരെ വാളിന്റെ ശക്തിക്ക് ഏല്പിക്കും; കുറുനരികൾക്ക് അവർ ഇരയായിത്തീരും.

11 But the king shall rejoice in God. Everyone who swears by him will praise him, for the mouth of those who speak lies shall be silenced.

൧൧എന്നാൽ രാജാവ് ദൈവത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കും; ദൈവനാമത്തിൽ സത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നവനെല്ലാം പ്രശംസിക്കപ്പെടും; എങ്കിലും ഭോഷ്ക് പറയുന്നവരുടെ വായ് അടഞ്ഞുപോകും.
