< Psalms 61 >

1 [For the Chief Musician. For a stringed instrument. By David.] Hear my cry, God. Listen to my prayer.
Fún adarí orin. Ohun èlò orin olókùn. Ti Dafidi. Gbọ́ ẹkún mi, Ọlọ́run; tẹ́tí sí àdúrà mi.
2 From the most remote place of the earth, I will call to you, when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Láti òpin ayé wá ni èmi yóò pè ọ́, mo pè nígbà àyà mi ń ṣàárẹ̀; mú mi lọ sí ibi àpáta tí ó ga jù mí lọ.
3 For you have been a refuge for me, a strong tower from the enemy.
Nítorí ìwọ ti jẹ́ ibi ààbò mi, ilé ìṣọ́ agbára àwọn ọ̀tá.
4 I will dwell in your tent forever. I will take refuge in the shelter of your wings. (Selah)
Mo ń lépa láti máa gbé nínú àgọ́ rẹ títí láé kí n sì rí ààbò níbi ìyẹ́ apá rẹ.
5 For you, God, have heard my vows. You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.
Nítorí ìwọ ti gbọ́ àwọn ẹ̀jẹ́ mi, Ọlọ́run; Ìwọ ti fún mi ní ogún àwọn tí ó bẹ̀rù orúkọ rẹ.
6 You will prolong the king's life; his years shall be for generations.
Jẹ́ kí ẹ̀mí ọba kí ó gùn, ọdún rẹ̀ fún ìrandíran.
7 He shall be enthroned in God's presence forever. Appoint your loving kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.
Kí ó máa jẹ ọba níwájú Ọlọ́run títí láé; pèsè àánú àti òtítọ́ rẹ tí yóò máa ṣe ìtọ́jú rẹ.
8 So I will sing praise to your name forever, that I may fulfill my vows day after day.
Nígbà náà ni èmi ó máa kọrin ìyìn sí orúkọ rẹ títí láé kí n san ẹ̀jẹ́ mi ní ojoojúmọ́.
