< Psalms 6 >
1 [For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments, upon the eight-stringed lyre. A Psalm by David.] LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger, neither discipline me in your wrath.
Kuom jatend wer. Miwero gi gig wer man-gi tondegi. Kaluwore gi sheminith. Zaburi Mar Daudi. Kik ikwera, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, ka iyi owangʼ kata kum kik ikuma ka mirima omaki.
2 Be gracious to me, LORD, for I am frail. LORD, heal me, for my bones are trembling.
Kecha, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, nikech aol; changa, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, nikech chokena rama malit.
3 And my soul is greatly troubled. But you, LORD, how long?
Chunya winjo malit. Nyaka karangʼo, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, nyaka karangʼo?
4 Return, LORD. Deliver my soul. Save me because of your lovingkindness.
Lokri, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, mondo iresa; resa nikech herani ma ok rum.
5 For in death there is no memory of you. In Sheol, who shall give you thanks? (Sheol )
Onge ngʼama nyalo pari ka osetho. En ngʼa madi paki gi ei liel? (Sheol )
6 I am weary with my groaning. Every night I drench my bed; I melt my couch with my tears.
Chur ma achurgo ojonya otieno duto abudo kitandana gi ywak, kendo pi wangʼa olwoko piendena.
7 My eye wastes away because of grief. It grows old because of all my adversaries.
Wengena ool nikech lit ma an-go; ok ginen maber nikech wasika duto.
8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for the LORD has heard the sound of my weeping.
Ayiuru buta, un duto ji matimo richo, nikech Jehova Nyasaye osewinjo ywakna.
9 The LORD has heard my plea. The LORD has accepted my prayer.
Jehova Nyasaye osewinjo ywak mar kwayo kech; Jehova Nyasaye orwako lamo mara.
10 May all my enemies be ashamed and greatly terrified. May they turn back, suddenly ashamed.
Wasika duto wigi biro kuot kendo gibiro hum nono; gibiro dok chien apoya nono gi wichkuot.
