< Psalms 48 >
1 [A Song. A Psalm by the sons of Korah.] Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, in the city of our God, in his holy mountain.
Oluyimba. Zabbuli ya Batabani ba Koola. Mukama mukulu, asaanira okutenderezebwa ennyo mu kibuga kya Katonda waffe, ku lusozi lwe olutukuvu.
2 Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion, in the far north, the city of the great King.
Sayuuni lwe lusozi lwe olulungi olugulumivu, olusanyusa ensi yonna. Ku ntikko Zafoni kwe kuli ekibuga kya Kabaka Omukulu;
3 God has shown himself in her citadels as a refuge.
Katonda mw’abeera; yeeraze okuba ekigo kye.
4 For, look, the kings assembled themselves, they passed by together.
Kale laba, bakabaka b’ensi baakuŋŋaana ne bakyolekera bakirumbe;
5 They saw it, then they were amazed. They were dismayed. They hurried away.
bwe baakituukako ne bakyewuunya, ne batya nnyo ne badduka;
6 Trembling took hold of them there, pain, as of a woman in travail.
nga bakankana, ne bajjula obulumi ng’omukazi alumwa okuzaala.
7 With the east wind, you break the ships of Tarshish.
Wabazikiriza ng’omuyaga ogw’ebuvanjuba bwe guzikiriza ebyombo by’e Talusiisi.
8 As we have heard, so we have seen, in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God. God will establish it forever. (Selah)
Ebyo bye twawuliranga obuwulizi, kaakano tubirabye mu kibuga kya Mukama ow’Eggye, mu kibuga kya Katonda waffe, kyalinywereza ddala emirembe gyonna.
9 We have thought about your loving kindness, God, in the midst of your temple.
Ayi Katonda, tufumiitiriza ku kwagala kwo okutaggwaawo nga tuli mu Yeekaalu yo.
10 As is your name, God, so is your praise to the farthest parts of the earth. Your right hand is full of righteousness.
Erinnya lyo nga bwe liri ekkulu, Ayi Katonda, bw’otyo bw’otenderezebwa mu nsi yonna. Omukono gwo ogwa ddyo gujjudde obuwanguzi.
11 Let Mount Zion be glad. Let the daughters of Judah rejoice, Because of your judgments.
Sanyuka gwe Sayuuni, musanyuke mmwe ebibuga bya Yuda; kubanga Katonda alamula bya nsonga.
12 Walk about Zion, and go around her. Number its towers.
Mutambule mu Sayuuni, mukibune; mubale n’ebigo byakyo.
13 Consider her defenses. Consider her palaces, that you may tell it to the next generation.
Mwekalirize nnyo munda wa bbugwe waakyo n’olusiisira lw’amaggye lwamu lwonna; mulyoke mutegeeze ab’emirembe egiriddawo.
14 For this God is our God forever and ever. He will guide us forever.
Kubanga Katonda ono, ye Katonda waffe emirembe gyonna; y’anaatuluŋŋamyanga ennaku zonna okutuusa okufa.
