< Psalms 28 >

1 [By David.] To you, LORD, I call. My rock, do not be deaf to me; lest, if you are silent to me, I would become like those who go down into the pit.
Ihe, ry Iehovà ro kanjieko, ry Lamilamiko, ko mañovok’ ahy, kera, hianjiñe, le hanahake o mizotso mb’an-tsikeokeok’aoo iraho.
2 Hear the voice of my petitions, when I cry to you, when I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.
Janjiño ty feon-kalaliko naho itoreovako, ie añonjonako sirañe mb’amy anjomba’o miavakey.
3 Do not draw me away with the wicked, with evildoers who speak peace with their neighbors, but mischief is in their hearts.
Ko kororohe’o hitraok’ amo lo-tserekeo, amo mpanao raty mivolan-kanitsiñe an-drañe’eo, te mone fikinian-draty ty am-po’e ao.
4 Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings. Give them according to the operation of their hands. Bring back on them what they deserve.
Ondroho mira amo sata’eo, naho hambañe ami’ty haratia’ o fitoloña’eo; eka, avaho mira amo satan-taña’eo; valeo ama’e ty mañeva.
5 Because they do not regard the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he will break them down and not build them up.
Amy te tsy haoñe’ iareo o tolon-draha’ Iehovào, ndra o fitoloñam-pità’eo. ho rotsahe’e iereo, le tsy hatroa’e ka.
6 Blessed be the LORD, because he has heard the voice of my petitions.
Andriañeñe t’Iehovà, fa jinanji’e ty feon-kalaliko!
7 The LORD is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him.
Iehovà ro haozarako naho fikalako, ty fiatoa’ ty troko, toe fa nimbaen-draho, aa le irebeha’ ty troko vaho rengèko an-tsabo.
8 The LORD is the strength of his people. He is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed.
Haozara’iareo t’Iehovà, kijolim-pandrombahañe i noriza’ey.
9 Save your people, and bless your inheritance. Be their shepherd also, and bear them up forever.
Rombaho ondati’oo, naho ampanintsiño o lova’oo; Araho iereo vaho otroño nainai’e.
