Psalms 25
1 [By David.] To you, LORD, do I lift up my soul.
| לְדָוִד אֵלֶיךָ יְהוָה נַפְשִׁי אֶשָּֽׂא׃ |
2 My God, I have trusted in you. Do not let me be shamed. Do not let my enemies triumph over me.
| אֱֽלֹהַי בְּךָ בָטַחְתִּי אַל־אֵבוֹשָׁה אַל־יַֽעַלְצוּ אֹיְבַי לִֽי׃ |
3 Yes, no one who waits for you shall be shamed. They shall be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.
| גַּם כָּל־קֹוֶיךָ לֹא יֵבֹשׁוּ יֵבֹשׁוּ הַבּוֹגְדִים רֵיקָֽם׃ |
4 Show me your ways, LORD. Teach me your paths.
| דְּרָכֶיךָ יְהוָה הוֹדִיעֵנִי אֹרְחוֹתֶיךָ לַמְּדֵֽנִי׃ |
5 Guide me in your truth, and teach me, For you are the God of my salvation, I wait for you all day long.
| הַדְרִיכֵנִי בַאֲמִתֶּךָ ׀ וְֽלַמְּדֵנִי כִּֽי־אַתָּה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׁעִי אוֹתְךָ קִוִּיתִי כָּל־הַיּֽוֹם׃ |
6 LORD, remember your tender mercies and your loving kindness, for they are from old times.
| זְכֹר־רַחֲמֶיךָ יְהוָה וַחֲסָדֶיךָ כִּי מֵעוֹלָם הֵֽמָּה׃ |
7 Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions. Remember me according to your loving kindness, for your goodness' sake, LORD.
| חַטֹּאות נְעוּרַי ׀ וּפְשָׁעַי אַל־תִּזְכֹּר כְּחַסְדְּךָ זְכָר־לִי־אַתָּה לְמַעַן טוּבְךָ יְהוָֽה׃ |
8 Good and upright is the LORD, therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.
| טוֹב־וְיָשָׁר יְהוָה עַל־כֵּן יוֹרֶה חַטָּאִים בַּדָּֽרֶךְ׃ |
9 He will guide the humble in justice. He will teach the humble his way.
| יַדְרֵךְ עֲנָוִים בַּמִּשְׁפָּט וִֽילַמֵּד עֲנָוִים דַּרְכּֽוֹ׃ |
10 All the paths of the LORD are loving kindness and truth to those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
| כָּל־אָרְחוֹת יְהוָה חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת לְנֹצְרֵי בְרִיתוֹ וְעֵדֹתָֽיו׃ |
11 For your name's sake, LORD, pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
| לְמַֽעַן־שִׁמְךָ יְהוָה וְֽסָלַחְתָּ לַעֲוֺנִי כִּי רַב־הֽוּא׃ |
12 What man is he who fears the LORD? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.
| מִי־זֶה הָאִישׁ יְרֵא יְהוָה יוֹרֶנּוּ בְּדֶרֶךְ יִבְחָֽר׃ |
13 His soul shall dwell in prosperity, and his descendants shall inherit the land.
| נַפְשׁוֹ בְּטוֹב תָּלִין וְזַרְעוֹ יִירַשׁ אָֽרֶץ׃ |
14 The friendship of the LORD is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.
| סוֹד יְהוָה לִירֵאָיו וּבְרִיתוֹ לְהוֹדִיעָֽם׃ |
15 My eyes are ever on the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.
| עֵינַי תָּמִיד אֶל־יְהוָה כִּי הֽוּא־יוֹצִיא מֵרֶשֶׁת רַגְלָֽי׃ |
16 Turn to me, and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted.
| פְּנֵה־אֵלַי וְחָנֵּנִי כִּֽי־יָחִיד וְעָנִי אָֽנִי׃ |
17 Relieve me from the distresses of my heart, and bring me out of my distresses.
| צָרוֹת לְבָבִי הִרְחִיבוּ מִמְּצֽוּקוֹתַי הוֹצִיאֵֽנִי׃ |
18 Consider my affliction and my travail. Forgive all my sins.
| רְאֵה עָנְיִי וַעֲמָלִי וְשָׂא לְכָל־חַטֹּאותָֽי׃ |
19 Consider my enemies, for they are many. They hate me with cruel hatred.
| רְאֵֽה־אוֹיְבַי כִּי־רָבּוּ וְשִׂנְאַת חָמָס שְׂנֵאֽוּנִי׃ |
20 Oh keep my soul, and deliver me. Let me not be disappointed, for I take refuge in you.
| שָׁמְרָה נַפְשִׁי וְהַצִּילֵנִי אַל־אֵבוֹשׁ כִּֽי־חָסִיתִי בָֽךְ׃ |
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you, LORD.
| תֹּם־וָיֹשֶׁר יִצְּרוּנִי כִּי קִוִּיתִֽיךָ׃ |
22 Redeem Israel, God, from all of his troubles.
| פְּדֵה אֱלֹהִים אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל מִכֹּל צָֽרוֹתָיו׃ |
