< Psalms 22 >
1 [For the Chief Musician; set to "The Doe of the Morning." A Psalm by David.] My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?
Fún adarí orin. Tí ohùn orin “àgbọ̀nrín òwúrọ̀.” Saamu ti Dafidi. Ọlọ́run mi, Ọlọ́run mi, èéṣe tí ìwọ fi kọ̀ mí sílẹ̀? Èéṣe tí o fi jìnnà láti gbà mí là, àní sí igbe ìkérora mi?
2 My God, I cry in the daytime, but you do not answer; in the night season, and am not silent.
Ọlọ́run mi, ní ọ̀sán gangan ni mo kígbe, ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ kò dá mi ní ohùn: àti ní òru èmi kò dákẹ́.
3 But you are holy, you who inhabit the praises of Israel.
Ṣùgbọ́n síbẹ̀ ẹni mímọ́ ni Ìwọ; ẹni tí ó tẹ ìyìn Israẹli dó.
4 Our fathers trusted in you. They trusted, and you delivered them.
Àwọn baba ńlá wa ní ìgbẹ́kẹ̀lé nínú rẹ; wọ́n ní ìgbẹ́kẹ̀lé, ìwọ sì gbà wọ́n.
5 They cried to you, and escaped. They trusted in you, and were not put to shame.
Ìwọ ni wọ́n sun ẹkún sí, wọ́n sì ní ìgbàlà; ìwọ ni wọ́n gbẹ́kẹ̀lé, a kò sì dójútì wọ́n.
6 But I am a worm, and no man; scorned by people and despised by the people.
Ṣùgbọ́n kòkòrò ní mo jẹ́, kì í sì í ṣe ènìyàn; mo di ẹlẹ́gàn àwọn ènìyàn, ẹlẹ́yà àwọn ènìyàn.
7 All those who see me mock me. They insult me with their lips. They shake their heads, saying,
Gbogbo àwọn tí ó rí mí fi mí ṣe ẹlẹ́yà; wọ́n yọ ètè ẹ̀gàn wọn sí mi, wọ́n sì ń mi orí wọn pé.
8 "He trusts in the LORD; let him deliver him. Let him rescue him, since he delights in him."
“Ó gbẹ́kẹ̀ rẹ̀ lé Olúwa; jẹ́ kí Olúwa gbà á là. Jẹ́ kí ó gbà á là, nítorí pé, ó ní ayọ̀ nínú rẹ̀.”
9 But you brought me out of the womb. You made me trust at my mother's breasts.
Síbẹ̀ ìwọ ni ó ti mú mi wá láti inú; ìwọ ni ó mú mi wà láìléwu, nígbà tí mo rọ̀ mọ́ ọmú ìyá mi.

13 They open their mouths wide against me, like a lion tearing prey and roaring.

Agbára mí ti gbẹ bí àpáàdì, ahọ́n mí sì tilẹ̀ mọ́ párí ẹ̀rẹ̀kẹ́ ẹ mi; ìwọ ti tẹ́ mi sínú eruku ikú. ()
16 For many dogs have surrounded me. A company of evildoers have enclosed me. They have pierced my hands and my feet.
Àwọn ajá yí mi ká; ìjọ àwọn ènìyàn ibi ti ká mi mọ́, wọ́n gún mi lọ́wọ́, wọ́n sì gún mi lẹ́sẹ̀.
17 I can count all of my bones. They look and stare at me.

18 They divide my clothes among themselves, and for my clothing they cast a lot.

19 But do not be far off, LORD. You are my help: hurry to help me.
Ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ, Olúwa, má ṣe jìnnà sí mi. Háà! Olùrànlọ́wọ́ ọ̀ mi, yára wá fún àtìlẹ́yìn mi!
20 Deliver my soul from the sword, my precious life from the power of the dog.
Gba ọkàn mi sílẹ̀ lọ́wọ́ idà, àní ẹ̀mí mi lọ́wọ́ agbára àwọn ajá.
21 Save me from the lion's mouth. Yes, from the horns of the wild oxen, you have answered me.
Gba ọkàn mi sílẹ̀ lọ́wọ́ kìnnìún; kí o sì gbà mí sílẹ̀ lọ́wọ́ ìwo àgbáǹréré.
