Philippians 4
1 Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, so stand firm in the Lord, my beloved.
Portanto, meus amados e mui queridos irmãos, minha alegria e corôa, estae assim firmes no Senhor, amados.
2 I appeal to Euodia and I appeal to Syntyche to agree in the Lord.
Rogo a Evodia, e rogo a Syntyche, que sintam o mesmo no Senhor.
3 Yes, I ask you also, true companion, help these women, for they labored with me in the Good News, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.
E peço-te tambem a ti, meu verdadeiro companheiro, que ajudes essas mulheres que trabalharam comigo no evangelho, e com Clemente, e com os outros cooperadores, cujos nomes estão no livro da vida.
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, Rejoice.
Regozijae-vos sempre no Senhor; outra vez digo, regozijae-vos.
5 Let your gentleness be evident to all people. The Lord is near.
Seja a vossa equidade notoria a todos os homens. Perto está o Senhor.
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
De nada estejaes solicitos: antes as vossas petições sejam em tudo conhecidas diante de Deus pela oração e supplicas com acção de graças.
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
E a paz de Deus, que excede todo o entendimento, guardará os vossos corações e os vossos sentimentos em Christo Jesus.
8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think on these things.
Quanto ao mais, irmãos, tudo o que é verdadeiro, tudo o que é honesto, tudo o que é justo, tudo o que é puro, tudo o que é amavel, tudo o que é de boa fama, se ha alguma virtude, e se ha algum louvor, n'isso pensae
9 And the things you learned and received and heard and saw in me, do these things. And the God of peace will be with you.
O que tambem aprendestes, e recebestes, e ouvistes, e vistes em mim, isso fazei; e o Deus de paz será comvosco.
10 Now I rejoice in the Lord greatly that at last you have revived your concern for me; in which you were indeed concerned, but you lacked opportunity.
Ora muito me regozijei no Senhor por finalmente reviver a vossa lembrança de mim; visto que vos tendes lembrado, mas não tinheis tido opportunidade.
11 I'm not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content in any circumstance.
Não o digo como por necessidade, porque já aprendi a contentar-me com o que tenho.
12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have a lot. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret, whether full or hungry, whether having a lot or being in need.
Sei estar abatido, e sei tambem ter abundancia: em toda a maneira, e em todas as coisas estou instruido, assim a ter fartura como a ter fome, assim a ter abundancia, como a padecer necessidade.
13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Posso todas as coisas n'aquelle que me fortalece.
14 Still, you have done well to share my hardship.
Todavia fizestes bem em tomar parte na minha afflicção.
15 And you Philippians yourselves know that in the beginning of the Good News, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you only.
E bem sabeis tambem vós, ó philippenses, que, no principio do evangelho, quando parti da Macedonia, nenhuma egreja communicou comigo em razão de dar e receber, senão vós sómente;
16 For even in Thessalonica you sent me aid twice.
Porque tambem uma e outra vez me mandastes o necessario a Thessalonica.
17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your account.
Não que procure dadivas, mas procuro o fructo que abunde para a vossa conta.
18 But I have received everything in full, and I have an abundance. I am fully supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you, a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable and well-pleasing sacrifice to God.
Mas tudo tenho recebido, e tenho abundancia: estou cheio, depois que recebi de Epaphrodito o que da vossa parte me foi enviado, como cheiro de suavidade e sacrificio agradavel e aprazivel a Deus.
19 And my God will supply all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Porém o meu Deus, segundo as suas riquezas, supprirá todas as vossas necessidades em gloria, por Christo Jesus.
Ora ao nosso Deus e Pae seja gloria para todo o sempre. Amen. (aiōn g165)
21 Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me greet you.
Saudae a todos os sanctos em Christo Jesus. Os irmãos que estão comigo vos saudam.
22 All the saints greet you, especially those who are of Caesar's household.
Todos os sanctos vos saudam, mas principalmente os que são da casa de Cesar.
23 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
A graça de nosso Senhor Jesus Christo seja com vós todos. Amen.
