Et interrogavit eum quidam princeps, dicens: Magister bone, quid faciens vitam æternam possidebo? (aiōnios )
who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the world to come, everlasting life."
Jesus said to them, "The people of this age marry and are given to someone to marry.
But those who are regarded as worthy of a place in that age and the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given to someone to marry.
so that everyone who believes in him may have life without end.
For this is how God loved the world: he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have life without end.
Whoever believes in the Son has everlasting life, but whoever refuses to believe in the Son won't see life, but the wrath of God remains on him."
but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to everlasting life."
He who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit to everlasting life; that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.
"Truly, truly, I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has everlasting life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. (aiōnios )
Amen, amen dico vobis, quia qui verbum meum audit, et credit ei, qui misit me, habet vitam æternam, et in iudicium non venit, sed transiit a morte in vitam. (aiōnios )
You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have everlasting life; and these are they which testify about me.
Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him."
This is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son, and believes in him, should have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day."
Truly, truly, I tell you, he who believes has everlasting life. (aiōnios )
Amen, amen dico vobis: Qui credit in me, habet vitam æternam. (aiōnios )
I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh."
He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
This is the bread which came down out of heaven—not as the fathers ate, and died. He who eats this bread will live forever."
Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of everlasting life. (aiōnios )
Respondit ergo ei Simon Petrus: Domine, ad quem ibimus? verba vitæ æternæ habes. (aiōnios )
A slave does not live in the house forever.
Truly, truly, I tell you, if a person keeps my word, he will never see death." (aiōn )
Amen, amen dico vobis: si quis sermonem meum servaverit, mortem non videbit in æternum. (aiōn )
Then the Judeans said to him, "Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham died, and the prophets; and you say, 'If anyone keeps my word, he will never taste of death.'
Since the world began it has never been heard of that anyone opened the eyes of someone born blind. (aiōn )
A sæculo non est auditum quia quis aperuit oculos cæci nati. (aiōn )
I give everlasting life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
And whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it to everlasting life.
The crowd answered him, "We have heard out of the law that the Christ remains forever. Then how can you say, 'The Son of Man must be lifted up?' Who is this Son of Man?" (aiōn )
Respondit ei turba: Nos audivimus ex lege, quia Christus manet in æternum: et quomodo tu dicis, Oportet exaltari Filium hominis? Quis est iste Filius hominis? (aiōn )
I know that his commandment is everlasting life. The things therefore which I speak, even as the Father has said to me, so I speak."
Quæ ergo ego loquor, sicut dixit mihi Pater, sic loquor. (aiōnios )
Peter said to him, "You will never wash my feet." Jesus answered him, "If I do not wash you, you have no part with me." (aiōn )
Dicit ei Petrus: Non lavabis mihi pedes in æternum. Respondit ei Iesus: Si non lavero te, non habebis partem mecum. (aiōn )
I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Helper, that he may be with you forever, — (aiōn )
even as you gave him authority over all flesh, he will give everlasting life to all whom you have given him. (aiōnios )
Sicut dedisti ei potestatem omnis carnis, ut omne, quod dedisti ei, det eis vitam æternam. (aiōnios )
This is everlasting life, that they may know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
because you will not abandon my soul in Sheol, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay.
he foreseeing this spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was he left in Sheol, nor did his flesh see decay.
whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets. (aiōn )
quem oportet quidem cælum suscipere usque in tempora restitutionis omnium, quæ locutus est Deus per os sanctorum suorum a sæculo Prophetarum. (aiōn )
Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, and said, "It was necessary that God's word should be spoken to you first. Since indeed you thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, look, we turn to the non-Jewish people.
As the non-Jewish people heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord. As many as were appointed to everlasting life believed.
known from long ago.' (aiōn )
Notum a sæculo est Domino opus suum. (aiōn )
For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made. So they are without excuse.
who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
Amen. (aiōn )
to those who by perseverance in good works seek glory and honor and immortality -- everlasting life.
that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to everlasting life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
But now, being made free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit of sanctification, and the result of everlasting life. (aiōnios )
Nunc vero liberati a peccato, servi autem facti Deo, habetis fructum vestrum in santificationem, finem vero vitam æternam. (aiōnios )
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is everlasting life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios )
Stipendia enim peccati, mors. Gratia autem Dei, vita æterna, in Christo Iesu Domino nostro. (aiōnios )
of whom are the patriarchs, and from whom is the Christ, as concerning the flesh, who is over all, God, blessed forever. Amen.
Amen. (aiōn )
or, 'Who will go down into the deep?' (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)" (Abyssos )
(Abyssos )
For God has bound everyone over to disobedience, that he might have mercy on all.
For from him and by him and in him are all things. To him be the glory for ever. Amen.
Amen. (aiōn )
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
Now to him who is able to establish you according to my Good News and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret through long ages, (aiōnios )
but now is revealed, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, is made known for obedience of faith to all the nations; (aiōnios )
to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever. Amen.
Amen. (aiōn )
Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Hasn't God made foolish the wisdom of the world? (aiōn )
Ubi sapiens? ubi scriba? ubi conquisitor huius sæculi? Nonne stultam fecit Deus sapientiam huius mundi? (aiōn )
We speak wisdom, however, among those who are mature, but a wisdom not of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are passing away.
But we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God determined in advance before the ages for our glory, (aiōn )
which none of the rulers of this age has understood. For had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this age, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.
Therefore, if food causes my brother to stumble, I will eat no meat forevermore, that I do not cause my brother to stumble. (aiōn )
Quapropter si esca scandalizat fratrem meum: non manducabo carnem in æternum, ne fratrem meum scandalizem. (aiōn )
Now these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come.
"Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?" (Hadēs )
Ubi est mors victoria tua? ubi est mors stimulus tuus? (Hadēs )
in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so they would not see the light of the glorious Good News of Christ, who is the image of God.
For this momentary light affliction is working for us a far more exceeding and everlasting weight of glory; (aiōnios )
while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are everlasting.
For we know that if the earthly house of our tent is dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, everlasting, in the heavens.
As it is written, "He has scattered, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever."
The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, he who is blessed forevermore, knows that I do not lie.
who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father— (aiōn )
to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
cui est gloria in sæcula sæculorum: Amen. (aiōn )
For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap everlasting life.
far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come.
in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience; (aiōn )
in quibus aliquando ambulastis secundum sæculum mundi huius, secundum principem potestatis aeris huius, spiritus, qui nunc operatur in filios diffidentiæ, (aiōn )
that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus; (aiōn )
ut ostenderet in sæculis supervenientibus abundantes divitias gratiæ suæ in bonitate super nos in Christo Iesu. (aiōn )
and to bring to light for all what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things; (aiōn )
according to the purpose of the ages which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord; (aiōn )
secundum præfinitionem sæculorum, quam fecit in Christo Iesu Domino nostro: (aiōn )
to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Ipsi gloria in Ecclesia, et in Christo Iesu in omnes generationes sæculi sæculorum. Amen. (aiōn )
For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world's rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
the mystery which has been hidden for ages and generations. But now it has been revealed to his saints.
who will pay the penalty: everlasting destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might, (aiōnios )
qui pœnas dabunt in interitu æternas a facie Domini, et a gloria virtutis eius: (aiōnios )
Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us everlasting comfort and good hope through grace, (aiōnios )
However, for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first, Jesus Christ might display all his patience, for an example of those who were going to believe in him for everlasting life.
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
Amen. (aiōn )
Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold of the everlasting life to which you were called, and you confessed the good confession in the sight of many witnesses. (aiōnios )
Certa bonum certamen fidei, apprehende vitam æternam, in qua vocatus es, et confessus bonam confessionem coram multis testibus. (aiōnios )
who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; whom no human has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and eternal power. Amen.
Charge those who are rich in this present world that they not be haughty, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy; (aiōn )
who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, (aiōnios )
Therefore I endure all things for the chosen ones' sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with everlasting glory.
for Demas left me, having loved this present world, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia.
And the Lord will deliver me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Liberavit me Dominus ab omni opere malo: et salvum faciet in regnum suum cæleste, cui gloria in sæcula sæculorum. Amen. (aiōn )
in hope of everlasting life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began; (aiōnios )
instructing us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly desires, and to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age; (aiōn )
that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of everlasting life. (aiōnios )
ut iustificati gratia ipsius, heredes simus secundum spem vitæ æternæ. (aiōnios )
For perhaps he was therefore separated from you for a while, that you would have him forever, (aiōnios )
in these last days has spoken to us by a Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the ages.
But of the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the righteous scepter is the scepter of your Kingdom. (aiōn )
Ad filium autem: Thronus tuus Deus in sæculum sæculi: virga æquitatis, virga regni tui. (aiōn )
As he says also in another place, "You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek." (aiōn )
Quemadmodum et in alio loco dicit: Tu es sacerdos in æternum, secundum ordinem Melchisedech. (aiōn )
Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of everlasting salvation, (aiōnios )
of the teaching of washings, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of everlasting judgment.
and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come, (aiōn )
gustaverunt nihilominus bonum Dei verbum, virtutesque sæculi venturi, (aiōn )
where as a forerunner Jesus entered for us, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn )
ubi præcursor pro nobis introivit Iesus, secundum ordinem Melchisedech pontifex factus in æternum. (aiōn )
for it is testified, "You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek." (aiōn )
Contestatur enim: Quoniam tu es sacerdos in æternum, secundum ordinem Melchisedech. (aiōn )
for they indeed have been made priests without an oath, but he with an oath by him that says of him, "The Lord swore and will not change his mind, 'You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.'"
But he, because he lives forever, has his priesthood unchangeable.
For the Law appoints men as high priests who have weakness, but the word of the oath which came after the Law appoints a Son forever who has been perfected.
nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained everlasting redemption.
how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse our conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the everlasting inheritance.
or else he must have suffered often since the foundation of the world. But now once at the end of the ages, he has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
By faith, we understand that the ages were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen has not been made out of things which are visible.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (aiōn )
Iesus Christus heri, et hodie: ipse et in sæcula. (aiōn )
Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an everlasting covenant, our Lord Jesus, (aiōnios )

Amen. (aiōn )
And the tongue is a fire. The world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by hell. (Geenna )
Et lingua ignis est, universitas iniquitatis. Lingua constituitur in membris nostris, quæ maculat totum corpus, et inflammat rotam nativitatis nostræ inflammata a gehenna. (Geenna )

To him be the power forever. Amen. (aiōn )
Ipsi gloria, et imperium in sæcula sæculorum: Amen. (aiōn )
For thus you will be richly supplied with the entrance into the everlasting Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (aiōnios )
