< Matthew 6 >
1 "Be careful that you do not do your righteousness before people, to be seen by them, or else you have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.
2 Therefore when you practice charitable giving, do not sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from people. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward.
Asa ima fillu unit imon, na iwa fo kulantun nbun mine nafo na anan liya kiti din suzu nanya tibau a nilarin lira ba, bara inan se liru nanit asirne. Kidegen ndin bellu minu, imal seru uduk mine.
3 But when you practice charitable giving, do not let your left hand know what your right hand does,
4 so that your charitable giving may be in secret, then your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
Asa uta nani, ufillu fe mayitu nanyan nyeshinu, Ucif fe tutung na adin yenju nanya liyeshighe manifi uduk.
5 "And when you pray, you are not to be as the hypocrites, for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I tell you, they have received their reward.
Tutung andi ima ti nlira, na iwa su nafo anan liya kiti ba, bara inung dinin su iyisizin nanya nati nlira nin ngau libau, anit nan yenje nani. Kidegen ndin bellu minu, inung mal seru uduk mine.
6 But you, when you pray, enter into your inner chamber, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
Anung andi ima ti nlira, piran nanya npiit natii mine.
7 And in praying, do not use vain repetitions, as the unbelievers do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking.
Tutung andi ima ti nlira, na iwa lawan kpilzu nliru urume tibatiba nafo alumai ba, bara inung din yenju nafo ngbardang liru minere mati ilanza nani.
8 Therefore do not be like them, for your Father knows what things you need, before you ask him.
Bara nani yenjen iwa yita nafo inughe, bara Ucif mine yiru vat nimon irika na idi nin suwe a na isa tiringhe ba.
9 Therefore, you should pray this way: 'Our Father in heaven, holy be your name.
Bara nani, tan nlira nafo nenge: 'Ucif bit nanya kitene kani, kusu lissafe.
10 Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Na tigofe dak, na isu imon nayife nyii nafo na idin sue kitene kani.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
Nanari kitimone imonli liyirin.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.'
Tutun na uwa do ninghirik kitin maluzu ba, ama bolo nari ncara shintan: bara kipin tigowe kinfere, likara nin gongon uyaunu nene udu saligan. Usonani.'
14 "For if you forgive people their wrongdoing, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
Bara asa idin kalzu anit alapi mine, ucif mine kitene kani wang ma kalu amin alape.
15 But if you do not forgive people, neither will your Father forgive your wrongdoing.
16 "Moreover when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen by people to be fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward.
17 But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face;
Ama anung andi imasu ukotu nayi, ikusu timuro mine lau itiza nnuf.
18 so that you are not seen by people to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.
19 "Do not store up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and decay destroy, and where thieves break through and steal;
20 but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor decay destroy, and where thieves do not break through and steal;
21 for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
22 "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is sound, your whole body will be full of light.
Liyizi, linere upitila kidowo. Bara nani, asa liyizife di licine, kidowo fe vat mayitu lau.
23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness.
Ama asa na liyizi dilicine ba, kidowofe vat mayitu nin dinong. Asa kidowo fe sali nin kanan, gbardang nsirte kati likara nbellu!
24 "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Mammon.
Na unit urum wasa asu katwa kiti nacikilari aba ba, nbara anari umon, ati usu nmon, asa na ata nani ba, aba ni litime kan kiti nmon anin dira usu katwa kacine kitin mong. Na iwasa isu Kutelle liccin nin tamani kubi kurume ba.
25 Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Bara nani nbelin minu, na iwa ciso ucara litawa nbelen kpilizu nliru nbelen natime inyaghari ti ba li sa tiba sonu, sa nidowo bite inyaghari tiba shonu. Na ulai katin imoli ba, nakidowo katin imon shonu ba?
26 See the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of much more value than they?
Ton iyizi iyene anyin kitene kani!
27 "And which of you, by being anxious, can add one cubit to his height?
Uyeme unitari nanya mine bara tiyom nimon nyii ulele wasa akpina ngbardang nayiri nlai me?
28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They do not toil, neither do they spin,
Nyaghari nta idi tiyom nbelen nimon kidowo, kpilzan uliru nanya nibinayi mine iyene amamu naneen, imus tikunang nanin; na adin su katwa ba, ana adin sho imon kidowo ba.
29 yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these.
Na nbellin minu tutung, Solomon litime vat nin gongong me, na awa ashon imon kidowo na iwa katin amamu nin caut ba.
30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
Andi Kutelle din su amamu nanya naneen kuyok kucine nani, arika na asa atuto kitimone, ula kurtuno uleo anin nin kui, ama so sa uni miinu imon nshonu kidowa? Anung anan kibinayi kikaf?
31 "Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?'
32 For the unbelievers seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
Imon ilele vat alumai din cisu nibinayi mine npizuru ninin, Ucif mine tutung kitene kani yiru idi nin su ninin vat.
33 But seek first the Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Ama cizinan upiziru tigo nin katwa kacine me, vat ngisin nimon ilele ima kpin minu ku.
34 Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
