< Matthew 21 >

1 When they drew near to Jerusalem, and came to Bethphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,
NI arail koren iong Ierusalem o lel ong Petpake impan dol Oliwe, Iesus ap kotin poronela tounpadak riamen.

Masani ong ira: Koma ko ong nan kanim monen, a madang koma pan diar esel amen, me salidi, o na pul mi imp a, lapwa ira da, ap kare dong ia!
3 And if anyone says anything to you, you are to say, 'Because the Lord needs them,' and he will send them at once."
A ma meamen pan indang koma meakot, koma pan indada: Kaun o men dake, i ari pan madang kadar ira do.
4 This took place that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying,
A mepukat karos wiauier, pwen pwaida, me lokido ren saukop o me masani:
5 Say to the daughter of Zion, "Look, your King comes to you, humble, and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey."
Kaireki nain Sion seripein: Kilang, om Nanmarki kotido re om. A kotin opampap o kaipokedi pon esel li amen.
6 The disciples went, and did just as Jesus directed them,
A tounpadak ko lao kolar, o wiadar duen Iesus kotin masani ong ira,

Ira ap wado esel o na, ap irepadi po’ra arail likau kan a ap kotin kaipokedi poa.
8 A very large crowd spread their clothes on the road. Others cut branches from the trees, and spread them on the road.
O pokon kalaimunia irepadi arail likau kan nani al o, a akai paledier ran tuka kan irepadi nani al o.
9 The crowds who went before him, and who followed kept shouting, "Hosanna to the son of David. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest."
A pokon o, me tiong moa, o me idauen, ngisingis indada: Osiana ong sapwilim en Dawid! Meid iasanai me kotido ni mar en Kaun, osiana nanlang.
10 When he had come into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred up, saying, "Who is this?"
A lao kotilong ong nan Ierusalem, toun kanim ap mokimokid indada: Is i?
11 The crowds said, "This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee."
Pokon o katitiki: Nan i Iesus, saukop en Nasaret en Kaliläa.
12 Jesus entered into the temple, and drove out all of those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the money changers' tables and the seats of those who sold the doves.
Iesus ap kotilong ong nan im en kaudok en Kot, ap kotin kase sang karos, me kin netinet nan im en kaudok, o kotin wukededi tepel en saunkawilian moni ko, o deun men netin muroi.
13 He said to them, "It is written, 'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a den of robbers."
O kotin masani ong irail: A intingidi: Im ai pan adaneki im en kapakap, a komail wia kilar deu en lipirap.
14 The blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.
A me maskun o me sikil akan poto dong i nan im en kaudok o; i ari kotin kakel irail adar.
15 But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying out in the temple and saying, "Hosanna to the son of David." they were indignant,
A samero lapalap o saunkawewe kan lao kilanger manaman akan, me a kotin wiadar, o seri kan nan im en kaudok, me ngisingis indada: Osiana ong sapwilim en Dawid! Irail ap makara kidar,
16 and said to him, "Do you hear what these are saying?" Jesus said to them, "Yes. Did you never read, 'Out of the mouth of children and infants you have prepared praise?'"
Indai ong i: Kom sota mangi, me mepukat katitiki? A Iesus kotin masani ong irail: Ei, komail saikenta doropwe: Sang nan au en seri o me kin kang didi, ir me kotin kapwaiadar kaping eu?
17 He left them, and went out of the city to Bethany, and lodged there.
I ari kotin muei sang irail, kotila sang nan kanim o, koti dong Petanien o pweiokidi wasa o.
18 Now in the morning, as he returned to the city, he was hungry.
A ni mansang ni a kotin purlang kanim o, ap men konotedar:
19 Seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to it, "Let there be no fruit from you forever." Immediately the fig tree withered away. (aiōn g165)
A kotin masani tuka pik pot ni kailan al o, ap kotilang i. A sota, me a kotin diaradar, pwe ta eta, ap kotin masani ong i: Koe solar pan wa kokolata! A tuka pik ap madang mongedier. (aiōn g165)
20 When the disciples saw it, they were amazed, saying, "How did the fig tree immediately wither away?"
Tounpadak kan lao kilanger, irail ap puriamui kidar indada: Daduen tuka pik o madang mongelar.
21 Jesus answered them, "Truly I tell you, if you have faith, and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it would be done.
A Iesus kotin sapeng masani ong irail: Melel I indai ong komail, ma komail poson, ap sota peikasal, kaidin met eta, me wiaui ong tuka pik en, me komail pan kak wiada, pwe ma komail pan indang nana wet: Mokid wei lokidokila nan madau, nan a pan pwaida.
22 All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."
O meakaros komail pan poeki ni omail kapakap, ap poson komail pan ale.
23 When he had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, and said, "By what authority do you do these things? Who gave you this authority?"
A lao kotilong ong nan im en kaudok o, samero lapalap akan o saumas en toun sap o ap ko dong i ni a kotin kaukawewe indada: Manaman en is, me komui wiaki mepukat? O is me ki ong komui manaman wet?
24 Jesus answered them, "I also will ask you one question, which if you tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
A Iesus kotin sapeng masani ong irail: I pan pil kalelapok meakot re omail, ma komail pan sapeng ia, I pil pan indang komail manaman en is, me I wiaki mepukat.
25 The baptism of John, where was it from? From heaven or from people?" They reasoned with themselves, saying, "If we say, 'From heaven,' he will ask us, 'Why then did you not believe him?'
En Ioanes a paptais a tapi sang ia? Men nanlang de me ren aramas? Irail ap lamelame nan pung arail katiti, ma kitail pan inda men nanlang, a pan masani ong kitail: Da me komail so posonki i?
26 But if we say, 'From people,' we fear the crowd, for all hold John as a prophet."
A ma kitail inda, me ren aramas, kitail masak pokon o, pwe karos kin wia saukopki Ioanes,
27 They answered Jesus, and said, "We do not know." He also said to them, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.
Irail ari sapeng Iesus potoan ong: Kit sota potoan. I ari pil masani ong irail: I sota pil pan indai ong komail, manaman en is, me I wiaki mepukat.
28 But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first, and said, 'Son, go work today in the vineyard.'
A iaduen omail lamelam? Aramas amen naineki ol riamen. A kola ren amen indang i: Lao, kola ran wet dodok nan ai mat en wain.
29 He answered, 'I will not,' but afterward he changed his mind, and went.
A sapeng indada: I sota mauki; a mur ekis a kalukila, ap koieila.
30 And he came to the other, and said the same thing. And he answered and said, 'I go, sir,' but he did not go.
O a kola ren me teio indai ong pil dueta. I me sapeng indada: Ei maing; ap sota kola.
31 Which of the two did the will of his father?" They said, "The first." Jesus said to them, "Truly I tell you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering into the Kingdom of God before you.
Ari, is re’ra, me wiadar insen en sam a? Irail potoan ong i: Men mas o. Iesus kotin masani ong irail: Melel I indai ong komail, saunopwei o me nenek kan pan mo’mail pedelong ong nan wein Kot.
32 For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. When you saw it, you did not even repent afterward, that you might believe him.
Pwe Ioanes pwara dong komail, padapadak ong komail duen al pung, a komail sota kamelele i; a saunopwei o me nenek kan kamelele i. A komail lao kilanger, komail sota kalukila, pwen kamele i.
33 "Hear another parable. There was a landowner who planted a vineyard, set a hedge about it, dug a winepress in it, built a tower, leased it out to tenant farmers, and went on a journey.
Komail rong pil apot karaseras! Kaun pan im amen padukedier mat en wain eu o kele pene, ap weiradar deun men wungid wan wain, o kauada im en daulik eu, ap kasile kin i ong saumat akai, o momaitelar nan wai.
34 When the season for the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the tenants, to receive his fruit.
A lao ansau en rak, a kadaralang saumat akan a ladu kai, pwen ale a wan wain.
35 The tenants took his servants, beat one, killed another, and stoned another.
Saumat akan ap saikedi a ladu kan; re woki amen, kamela amen, a amen me re kate.
36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they treated them the same way.
A pil kadarala ladu kai, toto sang men mas, Irail ari wiai ong irail pil dueta.
37 But afterward he sent to them his son, saying, 'They will respect my son.'
A ikmuri a kadara wong irail na ol masani: Nan re pan masak nai ol.
38 But the tenants, when they saw the son, said among themselves, 'This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and have his inheritance.'
A saumat akan lao kilanger ol o, irail ap kasokasoi nan pung arail: I me pan ale soso, ukodo kitail en kamela i, a kitail pan id ale a soso.
39 So they took him, and threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.
Irail ari saikedi i o kasapoke sang i nan mat en wain o, o kamela i.
40 When therefore the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?"
Ari, monsap en mat en wain lao pwarado, da me a pan wiai ong saumat pukat?
41 They told him, "He will utterly destroy those evil men, and will lease out the vineyard to other tenants, who will give him the fruit in its season."
Irail potoan ong i: A pan kamela aramas sued pukat, ap pan neki ong akai saumat a mat en wain o, me pan ki ong i wan wain ni ansau me kon ong.
42 Jesus said to them, "Did you never read in the Scriptures, 'The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the head of the corner. This was from the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes?'
Iesus ap kotin masani ong irail: Komail saikenta doropwer nan kisin likau kan: Takai o, me sause kan kasapokelar, ap id wialar takai en pukakaim. Mepukat wiauier ren Kaun o, men kapuriamui patail?
43 "Therefore I tell you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and will be given to a nation bringing forth its fruit.
I me I indai ong komail, wein Kot pan sapadoke sang komail, ap ko ong eu kainok, me pan kida wa.
44 He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it will fall, it will crush him."
O meamen pupedi ong pon takai wet, pan ola, a meamen me a pan pupedi ong poa, a pan pitaki pasang i.
45 When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they perceived that he spoke about them.
A samero lapalap o Parisär akan lao rongadar a karaseras akan, re mulikiadar, me a kotin karaserase kin irail.
46 When they sought to seize him, they feared the crowds, because they considered him to be a prophet.
Irail ari masamasan sili en saikidi i, a re masak aramas akan, pwe re wia kin i saukop amen.
