Matthew 21
1 When they drew near to Jerusalem, and came to Bethphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,
੧ਜਦ ਉਹ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੈਤੂਨ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਤਫ਼ਗਾ ਕੋਲ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਤਾਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ,
2 saying to them, "Go into the village that is opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them, and bring them to me.
੨ਉਸ ਪਿੰਡ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੈ ਜਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੜਦੇ ਹੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਗਧੀ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੀ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਓਗੇ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਲਿਆਓ।
3 And if anyone says anything to you, you are to say, 'Because the Lord needs them,' and he will send them at once."
੩ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਕਹੇ ਤਾਂ ਆਖਣਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਹੈ, ਫੇਰ ਉਹ ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
4 This took place that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying,
੪ਸੋ ਇਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਨਬੀ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਬਚਨ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਵੇ,
5 Say to the daughter of Zion, "Look, your King comes to you, humble, and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey."
੫ਸੀਯੋਨ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋ, ਵੇਖ ਤੇਰਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਅਧੀਨਗੀ ਨਾਲ, ਗਧੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਗੋਂ ਗਧੀ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਉੱਤੇ, ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
6 The disciples went, and did just as Jesus directed them,
੬ਤਦ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ।
7 and brought the donkey and the colt, and placed their clothes on them; and he sat on them.
੭ਅਤੇ ਗਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਬੱਚੇ ਸਣੇ ਲਿਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਬੈਠਾ।
8 A very large crowd spread their clothes on the road. Others cut branches from the trees, and spread them on the road.
੮ਅਤੇ ਭੀੜ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਛਾਏ ਪਰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਦਰਖ਼ਤਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਡਾਲੀਆਂ ਵੱਢ ਕੇ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਛਾ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ।
9 The crowds who went before him, and who followed kept shouting, "Hosanna to the son of David. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest."
੯ਅਤੇ ਭੀੜ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ, ਉੱਚੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਆਖਣ ਲੱਗੀ, ਹੋਸੰਨਾ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ! ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ! ਪਰਮ ਧਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਸੰਨਾ!
10 When he had come into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred up, saying, "Who is this?"
੧੦ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੜਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਰਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਇਹ ਆਖ ਕੇ ਹਿੱਲ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ?
11 The crowds said, "This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee."
੧੧ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਇਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਗਲੀਲ ਦੇ ਨਾਸਰਤ ਦਾ ਨਬੀ ਹੈ।
12 Jesus entered into the temple, and drove out all of those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the money changers' tables and the seats of those who sold the doves.
੧੨ਫੇਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਹੈਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਹੈਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੇਚਦੇ ਤੇ ਖਰੀਦਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਾਫ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਖ਼ਤਪੋਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਕਬੂਤਰ ਵੇਚਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੌਂਕੀਆਂ ਉਲਟਾ ਸੁੱਟੀਆਂ।
13 He said to them, "It is written, 'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a den of robbers."
੧੩ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਘਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਕਹਾਵੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਡਾਕੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਅੱਡਾ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ।
14 The blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.
੧੪ਅਤੇ ਹੈਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੰਗੜੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
15 But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying out in the temple and saying, "Hosanna to the son of David." they were indignant,
੧੫ਜਦ ਮੁੱਖ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੈਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਚੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ “ਹੋਸੰਨਾ” ਆਖਦੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਖਿਝ ਗਏ।
16 and said to him, "Do you hear what these are saying?" Jesus said to them, "Yes. Did you never read, 'Out of the mouth of children and infants you have prepared praise?'"
੧੬ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਕੀ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ? ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਹਾਂ, ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਦੀ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਜੋ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੁੱਧ ਚੁੰਘਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਉਸਤਤ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਵਾਈ?
17 He left them, and went out of the city to Bethany, and lodged there.
੧੭ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਤਅਨੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਰਾਤ ਕੱਟੀ।
18 Now in the morning, as he returned to the city, he was hungry.
੧੮ਜਦ ਤੜਕੇ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਖ ਲੱਗੀ।
19 Seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to it, "Let there be no fruit from you forever." Immediately the fig tree withered away. (aiōn g165)
੧੯ਅਤੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੰਜ਼ੀਰ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਰੁੱਖ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਗਿਆ ਪਰ ਪੱਤਿਆਂ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਲੱਭਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਦੀ ਫਲ ਨਾ ਲੱਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਹੰਜ਼ੀਰ ਦਾ ਦਰਖ਼ੱਤ ਸੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ। (aiōn g165)
20 When the disciples saw it, they were amazed, saying, "How did the fig tree immediately wither away?"
੨੦ਅਤੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਇਹ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਬੋਲੇ ਕਿ ਹੰਜ਼ੀਰ ਦਾ ਰੁੱਖ਼ ਐਨੀ ਜਲਦੀ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਸੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ?
21 Jesus answered them, "Truly I tell you, if you have faith, and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it would be done.
੨੧ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਭਰਮ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੇਵਲ ਇਹੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੋਗੇ ਜੋ ਹੰਜ਼ੀਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਖ਼ਤ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਗੋਂ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਪਹਾੜ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋ ਜੋ ਉੱਠ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਜਾ, ਤਾਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
22 All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."
੨੨ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੰਗੋ ਸੋ ਪਾਓਗੇ।
23 When he had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, and said, "By what authority do you do these things? Who gave you this authority?"
੨੩ਜਦ ਉਹ ਹੈਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਦ ਮੁੱਖ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਬੋਲੇ, ਤੂੰ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ?
24 Jesus answered them, "I also will ask you one question, which if you tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
੨੪ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਗੱਲ ਪੁੱਛਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਸੋ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੋ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
25 The baptism of John, where was it from? From heaven or from people?" They reasoned with themselves, saying, "If we say, 'From heaven,' he will ask us, 'Why then did you not believe him?'
੨੫ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਦਾ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਸੀ, ਸਵਰਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ? ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ, ਜੇ ਆਖੀਏ, “ਸਵਰਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ” ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕਹੇਗਾ, ਫੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ?
26 But if we say, 'From people,' we fear the crowd, for all hold John as a prophet."
੨੬ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਆਖੀਏ, “ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ” ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਬੀ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ।
27 They answered Jesus, and said, "We do not know." He also said to them, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.
੨੭ਤਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਅਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਜੋ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
28 But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first, and said, 'Son, go work today in the vineyard.'
੨੮ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੀ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹੋ? ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਕੇ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜਾ। ਅੱਜ ਅੰਗੂਰੀ ਬਾਗ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ।
29 He answered, 'I will not,' but afterward he changed his mind, and went.
੨੯ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਮੇਰਾ ਜੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਪਰ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਛਤਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ।
30 And he came to the other, and said the same thing. And he answered and said, 'I go, sir,' but he did not go.
੩੦ਫੇਰ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਕੇ ਇਹੋ ਹੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ਜੀ, ਪਰ ਨਾ ਗਿਆ।
31 Which of the two did the will of his father?" They said, "The first." Jesus said to them, "Truly I tell you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering into the Kingdom of God before you.
੩੧ਸੋ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ? ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਨੇ। ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਚੂੰਗੀ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਸਵਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੜਨਗੇ।
32 For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. When you saw it, you did not even repent afterward, that you might believe him.
੩੨ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਧਾਰਮਿਕਤਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਪਰ ਮਸੂਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਜਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਪਛਤਾਏ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦੇ।
33 "Hear another parable. There was a landowner who planted a vineyard, set a hedge about it, dug a winepress in it, built a tower, leased it out to tenant farmers, and went on a journey.
੩੩ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਸੁਣੋ ਜੋ ਇੱਕ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਅੰਗੂਰੀ ਬਾਗ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ ਵਾੜ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਸ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਚੁਬੱਚਾ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਰਜ ਉਸਾਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਸੌਂਪ ਕੇ ਪਰਦੇਸ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
34 When the season for the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the tenants, to receive his fruit.
੩੪ਜਦੋਂ ਫਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੁੱਤ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੌਕਰ ਮਾਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਫਲ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਭੇਜੇ।
35 The tenants took his servants, beat one, killed another, and stoned another.
੩੫ਅਤੇ ਮਾਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨੌਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੁੱਟਿਆ, ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਥਰਾਉ ਕੀਤਾ।
36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they treated them the same way.
੩੬ਫੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਨੌਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ।
37 But afterward he sent to them his son, saying, 'They will respect my son.'
੩੭ਅੰਤ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
38 But the tenants, when they saw the son, said among themselves, 'This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and have his inheritance.'
੩੮ਪਰ ਮਾਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ, ਵਾਰਿਸ ਇਹੋ ਹੈ, ਆਓ ਇਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟੀਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਵਿਰਸਾ ਸਾਂਭ ਲਈਏ।
39 So they took him, and threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.
੩੯ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਫੜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਗ਼ੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ।
40 When therefore the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?"
੪੦ਸੋ ਜਦ ਬਾਗ਼ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਤਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਾਲੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ?
41 They told him, "He will utterly destroy those evil men, and will lease out the vineyard to other tenants, who will give him the fruit in its season."
੪੧ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੁਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਸ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਗੂਰੀ ਬਾਗ਼ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਮਾਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਰੁੱਤ ਸਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਫਲ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣਗੇ।
42 Jesus said to them, "Did you never read in the Scriptures, 'The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the head of the corner. This was from the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes?'
੪੨ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਗ੍ਰੰਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਪੱਥਰ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜ ਮਿਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਰੱਦਿਆ, ਸੋਈ ਖੂੰਜੇ ਦਾ ਸਿਰਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੋਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਹੈ।
43 "Therefore I tell you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and will be given to a nation bringing forth its fruit.
੪੩ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਖੋਹਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਾਈ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਫਲ ਦੇਵੇ।
44 He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it will fall, it will crush him."
੪੪ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਇਸ ਪੱਥਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਿੱਗੇਗਾ ਸੋ ਚੂਰ-ਚੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹ ਡਿੱਗੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੀਹ ਸੁੱਟੇਗਾ।
45 When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they perceived that he spoke about them.
੪੫ਜਦ ਮੁੱਖ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਸੁਣੇ ਤਾਂ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਹੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
46 When they sought to seize him, they feared the crowds, because they considered him to be a prophet.
੪੬ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ੍ਹਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਡਰੇ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਬੀ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਸਨ।
