Matthew 14
1 At that time, Herod the tetrarch heard the report concerning Jesus,
১তদানীং ৰাজা হেৰোদ্ যীশো ৰ্যশঃ শ্ৰুৎৱা নিজদাসেযান্ জগাদ্,
2 and said to his servants, "This is John the Baptist. He is risen from the dead. That is why these powers work in him."
২এষ মজ্জযিতা যোহন্, প্ৰমিতেভযস্তস্যোত্থানাৎ তেনেত্থমদ্ভুতং কৰ্ম্ম প্ৰকাশ্যতে|
3 For Herod had arrested John, and bound him, and put him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife.
৩পুৰা হেৰোদ্ নিজভ্ৰাতু: ফিলিপো জাযাযা হেৰোদীযাযা অনুৰোধাদ্ যোহনং ধাৰযিৎৱা বদ্ধা কাৰাযাং স্থাপিতৱান্|
4 For John said to him, "It is not lawful for you to have her."
৪যতো যোহন্ উক্তৱান্, এৎসযাঃ সংগ্ৰহো ভৱতো নোচিতঃ|
5 And though he wanted to kill him, he feared the crowd because they regarded him as a prophet.
৫তস্মাৎ নৃপতিস্তং হন্তুমিচ্ছন্নপি লোকেভ্যো ৱিভযাঞ্চকাৰ; যতঃ সৰ্ৱ্ৱে যোহনং ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদিনং মেনিৰে|
6 But when Herod's birthday came, the daughter of Herodias danced among them and pleased Herod.
৬কিন্তু হেৰোদো জন্মাহীযমহ উপস্থিতে হেৰোদীযাযা দুহিতা তেষাং সমক্ষং নৃতিৎৱা হেৰোদমপ্ৰীণ্যৎ|
7 Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatever she should ask.
৭তস্মাৎ ভূপতিঃ শপথং কুৰ্ৱ্ৱন্ ইতি প্ৰত্যজ্ঞাসীৎ, ৎৱযা যদ্ যাচ্যতে, তদেৱাহং দাস্যামি|
8 And she, being prompted by her mother, said, "Give me here on a platter the head of John the Baptist."
৮সা কুমাৰী স্ৱীযমাতুঃ শিক্ষাং লব্ধা বভাষে, মজ্জযিতুৰ্যোহন উত্তমাঙ্গং ভাজনে সমানীয মহ্যং ৱিশ্ৰাণয|
9 And the king was grieved, but for the sake of his oaths, and of those who sat at the table with him, he commanded it to be given,
৯ততো ৰাজা শুশোচ, কিন্তু ভোজনাযোপৱিশতাং সঙ্গিনাং স্ৱকৃতশপথস্য চানুৰোধাৎ তৎ প্ৰদাতুম আদিদেশ|
10 and he sent and beheaded John in the prison.
১০পশ্চাৎ কাৰাং প্ৰতি নৰং প্ৰহিত্য যোহন উত্তমাঙ্গং ছিত্ত্ৱা
11 And his head was brought on a platter, and given to the young woman: and she brought it to her mother.
১১তৎ ভাজন আনায্য তস্যৈ কুমাৰ্য্যৈ ৱ্যশ্ৰাণযৎ, ততঃ সা স্ৱজনন্যাঃ সমীপং তন্নিনায|
12 Then his disciples came, and took the dead body, and buried him; and they went and told Jesus.
১২পশ্চাৎ যোহনঃ শিষ্যা আগত্য কাযং নীৎৱা শ্মশানে স্থাপযামাসুস্ততো যীশোঃ সন্নিধিং ৱ্ৰজিৎৱা তদ্ৱাৰ্ত্তাং বভাষিৰে|
13 Now when Jesus heard this, he withdrew from there in a boat, to a secluded place to be alone. When the crowds heard it, they followed him on foot from the cities.
১৩অনন্তৰং যীশুৰিতি নিশভ্য নাৱা নিৰ্জনস্থানম্ একাকী গতৱান্, পশ্চাৎ মানৱাস্তৎ শ্ৰুৎৱা নানানগৰেভ্য আগত্য পদৈস্তৎপশ্চাদ্ ঈযুঃ|
14 And he went out, and he saw a large crowd, and he had compassion on them, and healed their sick.
১৪তদানীং যীশু ৰ্বহিৰাগত্য মহান্তং জননিৱহং নিৰীক্ষ্য তেষু কাৰুণিকঃ মন্ তেষাং পীডিতজনান্ নিৰামযান্ চকাৰ|
15 Now when evening had come, the disciples came to him, saying, "This place is desolate, and the hour is already late. Send the crowds away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves food."
১৫ততঃ পৰং সন্ধ্যাযাং শিষ্যাস্তদন্তিকমাগত্য কথযাঞ্চক্ৰুঃ, ইদং নিৰ্জনস্থানং ৱেলাপ্যৱসন্না; তস্মাৎ মনুজান্ স্ৱস্ৱগ্ৰামং গন্তুং স্ৱাৰ্থং ভক্ষ্যাণি ক্ৰেতুঞ্চ ভৱান্ তান্ ৱিসৃজতু|
16 But Jesus said to them, "They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat."
১৬কিন্তু যীশুস্তানৱাদীৎ, তেষাং গমনে প্ৰযোজনং নাস্তি, যূযমেৱ তান্ ভোজযত|
17 And they told him, "We only have here five loaves and two fish."
১৭তদা তে প্ৰত্যৱদন্, অস্মাকমত্ৰ পূপপঞ্চকং মীনদ্ৱযঞ্চাস্তে|
18 So he said, "Bring them here to me."
১৮তদানীং তেনোক্তং তানি মদন্তিকমানযত|
19 Then he commanded the crowds to sit down on the grass; and he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, broke and gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples gave to the crowds.
১৯অনন্তৰং স মনুজান্ যৱসোপৰ্য্যুপৱেষ্টুম্ আজ্ঞাপযামাস; অপৰ তৎ পূপপঞ্চকং মীনদ্ৱযঞ্চ গৃহ্লন্ স্ৱৰ্গং প্ৰতি নিৰীক্ষ্যেশ্ৱৰীযগুণান্ অনূদ্য ভংক্ত্ৱা শিষ্যেভ্যো দত্তৱান্, শিষ্যাশ্চ লোকেভ্যো দদুঃ|
20 And they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of that which remained left over from the broken pieces.
২০ততঃ সৰ্ৱ্ৱে ভুক্ত্ৱা পৰিতৃপ্তৱন্তঃ, ততস্তদৱশিষ্টভক্ষ্যৈঃ পূৰ্ণান্ দ্ৱাদশডলকান্ গৃহীতৱন্তঃ|
21 Now those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
২১তে ভোক্তাৰঃ স্ত্ৰীৰ্বালকাংশ্চ ৱিহায প্ৰাযেণ পঞ্চ সহস্ৰাণি পুমাংস আসন্|
22 And immediately he made the disciples get into the boat and to go ahead of him to the other side, while he sent the crowds away.
২২তদনন্তৰং যীশু ৰ্লোকানাং ৱিসৰ্জনকালে শিষ্যান্ তৰণিমাৰোঢুং স্ৱাগ্ৰে পাৰং যাতুঞ্চ গাঢমাদিষ্টৱান্|
23 And after he had sent the crowds away, he went up into the mountain by himself to pray. When evening had come, he was there alone.
২৩ততো লোকেষু ৱিসৃষ্টেষু স ৱিৱিক্তে প্ৰাৰ্থযিতুং গিৰিমেকং গৎৱা সন্ধ্যাং যাৱৎ তত্ৰৈকাকী স্থিতৱান্|
24 But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, battered by the waves, for the wind was against it.
২৪কিন্তু তদানীং সম্মুখৱাতৎৱাৎ সৰিৎপতে ৰ্মধ্যে তৰঙ্গৈস্তৰণিৰ্দোলাযমানাভৱৎ|
25 And in the watch between three and six in the morning, he came to them, walking on the sea.
২৫তদা স যামিন্যাশ্চতুৰ্থপ্ৰহৰে পদ্ভ্যাং ৱ্ৰজন্ তেষামন্তিকং গতৱান্|
26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, "It's a ghost." and they screamed with fear.
২৬কিন্তু শিষ্যাস্তং সাগৰোপৰি ৱ্ৰজন্তং ৱিলোক্য সমুদ্ৱিগ্না জগদুঃ, এষ ভূত ইতি শঙ্কমানা উচ্চৈঃ শব্দাযাঞ্চক্ৰিৰে চ|
27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying "Cheer up. It is I. Do not be afraid."
২৭তদৈৱ যীশুস্তানৱদৎ, সুস্থিৰা ভৱত, মা ভৈষ্ট, এষোঽহম্|
28 Peter answered him and said, "Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the waters."
২৮ততঃ পিতৰ ইত্যুক্তৱান্, হে প্ৰভো, যদি ভৱানেৱ, তৰ্হি মাং ভৱৎসমীপং যাতুমাজ্ঞাপযতু|
29 He said, "Come." Peter stepped down from the boat, and walked on the water and went toward Jesus.
২৯ততঃ তেনাদিষ্টঃ পিতৰস্তৰণিতোঽৱৰুহ্য যীশেৰন্তিকং প্ৰাপ্তুং তোযোপৰি ৱৱ্ৰাজ|
30 But when he saw the strong wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he yelled, saying, "Lord, save me."
৩০কিন্তু প্ৰচণ্ডং পৱনং ৱিলোক্য ভযাৎ তোযে মংক্তুম্ আৰেভে, তস্মাদ্ উচ্চৈঃ শব্দাযমানঃ কথিতৱান্, হে প্ৰভো, মামৱতু|
31 Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand, took hold of him, and said to him, "You of little faith, why did you doubt?"
৩১যীশুস্তৎক্ষণাৎ কৰং প্ৰসাৰ্য্য তং ধৰন্ উক্তৱান্, হ স্তোকপ্ৰত্যযিন্ ৎৱং কুতঃ সমশেথাঃ?
32 When they got up into the boat, the wind ceased.
৩২অনন্তৰং তযোস্তৰণিমাৰূঢযোঃ পৱনো নিৱৱৃতে|
33 Those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, "You are truly the Son of God."
৩৩তদানীং যে তৰণ্যামাসন্, ত আগত্য তং প্ৰণভ্য কথিতৱন্তঃ, যথাৰ্থস্ত্ৱমেৱেশ্ৱৰসুতঃ|
34 When they had crossed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret.
৩৪অনন্তৰং পাৰং প্ৰাপ্য তে গিনেষৰন্নামকং নগৰমুপতস্থুঃ,
35 When the people of that place recognized him, they sent into all that surrounding region, and brought to him all who were sick,
৩৫তদা তত্ৰত্যা জনা যীশুং পৰিচীয তদ্দেশ্স্য চতুৰ্দিশো ৱাৰ্ত্তাং প্ৰহিত্য যত্ৰ যাৱন্তঃ পীডিতা আসন্, তাৱতএৱ তদন্তিকমানযামাসুঃ|
36 and they begged him that they might just touch the fringe of his garment. And all who touched it were healed.
৩৬অপৰং তদীযৱসনস্য গ্ৰন্থিমাত্ৰং স্প্ৰষ্টুং ৱিনীয যাৱন্তো জনাস্তৎ স্পৰ্শং চক্ৰিৰে, তে সৰ্ৱ্ৱএৱ নিৰামযা বভূৱুঃ|
