Matthew 1
1 A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
อิพฺราหีม: สนฺตาโน ทายูทฺ ตสฺย สนฺตาโน ยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺตสฺย ปูรฺวฺวปุรุษวํศเศฺรณีฯ
2 Abraham was the father of Isaac, and Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers,
อิพฺราหีม: ปุตฺร อิสฺหากฺ ตสฺย ปุโตฺร ยากูพฺ ตสฺย ปุโตฺร ยิหูทาสฺตสฺย ภฺราตรศฺจฯ
3 and Judah was the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, and Perez was the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Ram,
ตสฺมาทฺ ยิหูทาตสฺตามโร ครฺเภ เปรเสฺสรเหา ชชฺญาเต, ตสฺย เปรส: ปุโตฺร หิโษฺรณฺ ตสฺย ปุโตฺร 'รามฺฯ
4 and Ram the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon the father of Salmon,
ตสฺย ปุโตฺร 'มฺมีนาทพฺ ตสฺย ปุโตฺร นหโศนฺ ตสฺย ปุตฺร: สลฺโมนฺฯ
5 and Salmon the father of Boaz by Rahab, and Boaz was the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed was the father of Jesse,
ตสฺมาทฺ ราหโพ ครฺเภ โพยมฺ ชชฺเญ, ตสฺมาทฺ รูโต ครฺเภ โอเพทฺ ชชฺเญ, ตสฺย ปุโตฺร ยิศย: ฯ
6 and Jesse the father of David the king. And David was the father of Solomon by her who had been the wife of Uriah;
ตสฺย ปุโตฺร ทายูทฺ ราช: ตสฺมาทฺ มฺฤโตริยสฺย ชายายำ สุเลมานฺ ชชฺเญฯ
7 and Solomon was the father of Rehoboam, and Rehoboam the father of Abijah, and Abijah the father of Asa;
ตสฺย ปุโตฺร ริหพิยามฺ, ตสฺย ปุโตฺร'พิย: , ตสฺย ปุตฺร อาสา: ฯ
8 and Asa the father of Jehoshaphat, and Jehoshaphat the father of Joram, and Joram the father of Uzziah,
ตสฺย สุโต ยิโหศาผฏฺ ตสฺย สุโต ยิโหราม ตสฺย สุต อุษิย: ฯ
9 and Uzziah the father of Jotham, and Jotham the father of Ahaz, and Ahaz the father of Hezekiah;
ตสฺย สุโต โยถมฺ ตสฺย สุต อาหมฺ ตสฺย สุโต หิษฺกิย: ฯ
10 and Hezekiah the father of Manasseh, and Manasseh the father of Amon, and Amon the father of Josiah,
ตสฺย สุโต มินศิ: , ตสฺย สุต อาโมนฺ ตสฺย สุโต โยศิย: ฯ
11 and Josiah the father of Jechoniah and his brothers, at the time of the exile to Babylon.
พาพิลฺนคเร ปฺรวสนาตฺ ปูรฺวฺวํ ส โยศิโย ยิขนิยํ ตสฺย ภฺราตฺฤํศฺจ ชนยามาสฯ
12 And after the exile to Babylon, Jechoniah was the father of Shealtiel, and Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel,
ตโต พาพิลิ ปฺรวสนกาเล ยิขนิย: ศลฺตีเยลํ ชนยามาส, ตสฺย สุต: สิรุพฺพาวิลฺฯ
13 and Zerubbabel the father of Abihud, and Abihud the father of Eliakim, and Eliakim the father of Azzur,
ตสฺย สุโต 'โพหุทฺ ตสฺย สุต อิลียากีมฺ ตสฺย สุโต'โสรฺฯ
14 and Azzur the father of Zadok, and Zadok the father of Ahiam, and Ahiam the father of Elihud,
อโสร: สุต: สาโทกฺ ตสฺย สุต อาขีมฺ ตสฺย สุต อิลีหูทฺฯ
15 and Elihud the father of Eleazar, and Eleazar the father of Matthan, and Matthan the father of Jacob,
ตสฺย สุต อิลิยาสรฺ ตสฺย สุโต มตฺตนฺฯ
16 and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, from whom was born Jesus, who is called the Christ.
ตสฺย สุโต ยากูพฺ ตสฺย สุโต ยูษผฺ ตสฺย ชายา มริยมฺ; ตสฺย ครฺเภ ยีศุรชนิ, ตเมว ขฺรีษฺฏมฺ (อรฺถาทฺ อภิษิกฺตํ) วทนฺติฯ
17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David to the exile to Babylon fourteen generations; and from the exile to Babylon to the Christ, fourteen generations.
อิตฺถมฺ อิพฺราหีโม ทายูทํ ยาวตฺ สากเลฺยน จตุรฺทศปุรุษา: ; อา ทายูท: กาลาทฺ พาพิลิ ปฺรวสนกาลํ ยาวตฺ จตุรฺทศปุรุษา ภวนฺติฯ พาพิลิ ปฺรวาสนกาลาตฺ ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย กาลํ ยาวตฺ จตุรฺทศปุรุษา ภวนฺติฯ
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ happened like this. His mother Mary had been engaged to Joseph, and before they came together, she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit.
ยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ชนฺม กถฺถเตฯ มริยมฺ นามิกา กนฺยา ยูษเผ วาคฺทตฺตาสีตฺ, ตทา ตโย: สงฺคมาตฺ ปฺรากฺ สา กนฺยา ปวิเตฺรณาตฺมนา ครฺภวตี พภูวฯ
19 And Joseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, intended to put her away secretly.
ตตฺร ตสฺยา: ปติ รฺยูษผฺ เสาชนฺยาตฺ ตสฺยา: กลงฺคํ ปฺรกาศยิตุมฺ อนิจฺฉนฺ โคปเนเน ตำ ปาริตฺยกฺตุํ มนศฺจเกฺรฯ
20 But when he thought about these things, look, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to yourself Mary, your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
ส ตไถว ภาวยติ, ตทานีํ ปรเมศฺวรสฺย ทูต: สฺวปฺเน ตํ ทรฺศนํ ทตฺตฺวา วฺยาชหาร, เห ทายูท: สนฺตาน ยูษผฺ ตฺวํ นิชำ ชายำ มริยมมฺ อาทาตุํ มา ไภษี: ฯ
21 And she will bring forth a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins."
ยตสฺตสฺยา ครฺภ: ปวิตฺราทาตฺมโน'ภวตฺ, สา จ ปุตฺรํ ปฺรสวิษฺยเต, ตทา ตฺวํ ตสฺย นาม ยีศุมฺ (อรฺถาตฺ ตฺราตารํ) กรีษฺยเส, ยสฺมาตฺ ส นิชมนุชานฺ เตษำ กลุเษภฺย อุทฺธริษฺยติฯ
22 Now all this has happened, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,
อิตฺถํ สติ, ปศฺย ครฺภวตี กนฺยา ตนยํ ปฺรสวิษฺยเตฯ อิมฺมานูเยลฺ ตทียญฺจ นามเธยํ ภวิษฺยติ๚ อิมฺมานูเยลฺ อสฺมากํ สงฺคีศฺวรอิตฺยรฺถ: ฯ
23 "Look, the virgin will conceive and bear a son, and they will call his name Immanuel;" which is translated, "God with us."
อิติ ยทฺ วจนํ ปุรฺวฺวํ ภวิษฺยทฺวกฺตฺรา อีศฺวร: กถายามาส, ตตฺ ตทานีํ สิทฺธมภวตฺฯ
24 And Joseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took his wife to himself;
อนนฺตรํ ยูษผฺ นิทฺราโต ชาคริต อุตฺถาย ปรเมศฺวรียทูตสฺย นิเทศานุสาเรณ นิชำ ชายำ ชคฺราห,
25 and had no marital relations with her until she had brought forth a son; and he named him Jesus.
กินฺตุ ยาวตฺ สา นิชํ ปฺรถมสุตํ อ สุษุเว, ตาวตฺ ตำ โนปาคจฺฉตฺ, ตต: สุตสฺย นาม ยีศุํ จเกฺรฯ
