< Mark 9 >
1 He said to them, "Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste death until they see the Kingdom of God come with power."

2 After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John, and brought them up onto a high mountain privately by themselves, and he was changed into another form in front of them.
Hnin rhuk phoeiah tah Jesuh loh Peter, James neh Johan te a khue tih amamih bueng tlang sang la hloep a caeh puei hatah amih hmaiah thohai uh.

9 As they were coming down from the mountain, he commanded them that they should tell no one what things they had seen, until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

Te dongah olka te a kuem uh tih, “Aka duek rhoek taeng lamkah loh a thoh ham te metlam a om eh?” tila amamih te oelh uh thae.
11 They asked him, saying, "Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?"
Te phoeiah amah te a dawt uh tih, “Balae tih cadaek rhoek loh, 'Elijah te ha pawk lamhma ham a kuek,’ a ti uh,” a ti nah.
12 And he said to them, "Elijah indeed comes first, and restores all things. And why is it written of the Son of Man that he should suffer many things and be rejected?
Te dongah Jesuh loh amih te, “Elijah he lamhma la ha pawk coeng tih boeih a thoh coeng ngawn. Tedae hlang capa muep a patang phoeiah a voeih ham te metlam a daek?

22 And it has often cast him both into fire and into water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us, and help us."

25 When Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, "You deaf and mute spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again."
