Mark 3
1 And he entered again into the synagogue, and there was a man there who had his hand withered.
Poi entrò di nuovo in una sinagoga; e quivi era un uomo che avea la mano secca.
2 And They watched him, whether he would heal him on the Sabbath day, that they might accuse him.
E l’osservavano per vedere se lo guarirebbe in giorno di sabato, per poterlo accusare.
3 And he said to the man with the withered hand, "Stand up in the middle."
Ed egli disse all’uomo che avea la mano secca: Lèvati là nel mezzo!
4 And he said to them, "Is it lawful on the Sabbath day to do good, or to do harm? To save a life, or to kill?" But they were silent.
Poi disse loro: E’ egli lecito, in giorno di sabato, di far del bene o di far del male? di salvare una persona o di ucciderla? Ma quelli tacevano.
5 And when he had looked around at them with anger, being grieved at the hardening of their hearts, he said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He stretched it out, and his hand was restored.
Allora Gesù, guardatili tutt’intorno con indignazione, contristato per l’induramento del cuor loro, disse all’uomo: Stendi la mano! Egli la stese, e la sua mano tornò sana.
6 And the Pharisees went out, and immediately conspired with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
E i Farisei, usciti, tennero subito consiglio con gli Erodiani contro di lui, con lo scopo di farlo morire.
7 And Jesus withdrew to the sea with his disciples, and a large crowd followed from Galilee, and from Judea,
Poi Gesù co’ suoi discepoli si ritirò verso il mare; e dalla Galilea gran moltitudine lo seguitò;
8 and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and beyond the Jordan, and those from around Tyre and Sidon. A large crowd, when they heard what great things he did, came to him.
e dalla Giudea e da Gerusalemme e dalla Idumea e da oltre il Giordano e dai dintorni di Tiro e di Sidone una gran folla, udendo quante cose egli facea, venne a lui.
9 And he told his disciples that a small boat should stay near him because of the crowd, so that they would not press on him.
Ed egli disse ai suoi discepoli che gli tenessero sempre pronta una barchetta a motivo della calca, che talora non l’affollasse.
10 For he had healed many, so that as many as had diseases pressed on him that they might touch him.
Perché egli ne aveva guariti molti; cosicché tutti quelli che aveano qualche flagello gli si precipitavano addosso per toccarlo.
11 And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw him, fell down before him, and shouted, saying, "You are the Son of God."
E gli spiriti immondi, quando lo vedevano, si gittavano davanti a lui e gridavano: Tu sei il Figliuol di Dio!
12 And he sternly warned them that they should not make him known.
Ed egli li sgridava forte, affinché non facessero conoscere chi egli era.
13 And he went up into the mountain, and called to himself those whom he wanted, and they went to him.
Poi Gesù salì sul monte e chiamò a sé quei ch’egli stesso volle, ed essi andarono a lui.
14 And he appointed twelve, that they might be with him, and that he might send them out to preach,
E ne costituì dodici per tenerli con sé
15 to have authority to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons.
e per mandarli a predicare con la potestà di cacciare i demoni.
16 And he appointed the twelve. And to Simon he gave the name Peter;
Costituì dunque i dodici, cioè: Simone, al quale mise nome Pietro;
17 and James the son of Zebedee; and John the brother of James (and he gave them the names Boanerges, which is to say, Sons of Thunder);
e Giacomo di Zebedeo e Giovanni fratello di Giacomo, ai quali pose nome Boanerges, che vuol dire figliuoli del tuono;
18 and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Zealot;
e Andrea e Filippo e Bartolomeo e Matteo e Toma e Giacomo di Alfeo e Taddeo e Simone il Cananeo
19 and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
e Giuda Iscariot quello che poi lo tradì.
20 And he came into a house, and the crowd came together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
Poi entrò in una casa, e la moltitudine si adunò di nuovo, talché egli ed i suoi non potevan neppur prender cibo.
21 And when his family heard it, they went out to take charge of him: for they said, "He is out of his mind."
or i suoi parenti, udito ciò, vennero per impadronirsi di lui, perché dicevano:
22 And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, "He has Beelzebul," and, "By the prince of the demons he casts out the demons."
E’ fuori di sé. E gli scribi, ch’eran discesi da Gerusalemme, dicevano: Egli ha Beelzebub, ed è per l’aiuto del principe dei demoni, ch’ei caccia i demoni.
23 And so he summoned them, and said to them in parables, "How can Satan cast out Satan?
Ma egli, chiamatili a sé, diceva loro in parabole: Come può Satana cacciar Satana?
24 And if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
E se un regno è diviso in parti contrarie, quel regno non può durare.
25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.
E se una casa è divisa in parti contrarie, quella casa non potrà reggere.
26 And if Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he will not be able to stand, but has an end.
E se Satana insorge contro se stesso ed è diviso, non può reggere, ma deve finire.
27 But no one can enter into the house of the strong man to plunder, unless he first binds the strong man; and then he will plunder his house.
Ed anzi niuno può entrar nella casa dell’uomo forte e rapirgli le sue masserizie, se prima non abbia legato l’uomo forte; allora soltanto gli prenderà la casa.
28 Truly I tell you, all human sins will be forgiven, including their blasphemies with which they may blaspheme;
In verità io vi dico: Ai figliuoli degli uomini saranno rimessi tutti i peccati e qualunque bestemmia avranno proferita;
30 because they said, "He has an unclean spirit."
Or egli parlava così perché dicevano: Ha uno spirito immondo.
31 And his mother and his brothers came, and standing outside, they sent to him, calling him.
E giunsero sua madre ed i suoi fratelli; e fermatisi fuori, lo mandarono a chiamare.
32 And a crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, "Look, your mother and your brothers are outside looking for you."
Una moltitudine gli stava seduta attorno, quando gli fu detto: Ecco tua madre, i tuoi fratelli e le tue sorelle là fuori che ti cercano.
33 And he answered them, saying, "Who are my mother and my brothers?"
Ed egli rispose loro: Chi è mia madre? e chi sono i miei fratelli?
34 And looking around at those who sat around him, he said, "Look, my mother and my brothers.
E guardati in giro coloro che gli sedevano d’intorno, disse: Ecco mia madre e i miei fratelli!
35 For whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother."
Chiunque avrà fatta la volontà di Dio, mi è fratello, sorella e madre.
