< Mark 16 >
1 When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.

3 They were saying among themselves, "Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?"
Vakati pakati pavo: Ndiani achatikungurusira ibwe kubva pamukova weguva?
4 for it was very big. Looking up, they saw that the stone was rolled back.
Zvino vakati vachitarira, vakaona kuti ibwe rakange rakunguruswa, nokuti raiva guru-guru.
5 Entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were amazed.
Zvino vakati vachipinda muguva, vakaona jaya rakange rigere kurudyi, rakapfeka nguvo refu chena; vakavhunduka;
6 He said to them, "Do not be amazed. You seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen. He is not here. Look, the place where they put him.
asi rakati kwavari: Musavhunduka; munotsvaka Jesu muNazareta wakarovererwa pamuchinjikwa; wamuka, haasi pano; tarirai panzvimbo pavakange vamuradzika.
7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He goes before you into Galilee. There you will see him, as he said to you.'"
Asi endai, munoudza vadzidzi vake naPetro kuti anokutungamirirai kuGarirea, muchanomuonako sezvaakakuudzai.
8 They went out, and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had come on them. They said nothing to anyone; for they were afraid.

9 (note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) Now when he had risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.
(note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) Zvino Jesu wakati amuka mangwanani-ngwanani newekutanga wevhiki, wakaonekwa pakutanga kuna Maria Magidharini, waakabudisa kwaari madhimoni manomwe.
10 She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
Uyo akaenda akaudza avo vaiva naye, pavaichema vachirira.
11 When they heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, they disbelieved.
Neava vanzwa kuti mupenyu, uye kuti wakange aonekwa naye, havana kutenda.
12 And after these things he appeared in another form to two of them, as they walked on their way into the country.
Shure kweizvozvo wakazviratidza nechimwe chimiro kuvaviri vavo vachifamba, vachienda muruwa.
13 And they went away and told it to the rest. They did not believe them, either.
Zvino avawo vakaenda vakaudza vakange vasara; naavo vakasavatenda.
14 Afterward he was revealed to the eleven themselves as they were reclining, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him after he had risen.
Pashure wakazviratidza kune vanegumi neumwe vagere pakudya, akatsiura kusatenda kwavo neukukutu hwemoyo, nokuti havana kutenda vaya vakange vamuona amuka.
15 And he said to them, "Go into all the world, and proclaim the Good News to the whole creation.
Akati kwavari: Endai munyika yese muparidze evhangeri kuchisikwa chega-chega.
16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.
Uyo anotenda akabhabhatidzwa achaponeswa; asi asingatendi achapiwa mhosva.
17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
Zviratidzo izvi zvichavatevera vanotenda: Muzita rangu vachabudisa madhimoni, vachataura nendimi itsva;
18 they will pick up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them; they will place their hands on the sick, and they will be made well."
vachanonga nyoka; kunyange vakanwa chero chinhu chinouraya, hachingatongovakuvadzi; vachaisa maoko pavarwere, vakapora.
19 So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
