Luke 7
1 After he had finished speaking in the hearing of the people, he entered into Capernaum.
ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ କର୍ଣ୍ଣଗୋଚରରେ ଆପଣାର ସବୁ କଥା ଶେଷ କରି କଫର୍ନାହୂମରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲେ।
2 A certain centurion's servant, who was dear to him, was sick and at the point of death.
ସେ ସମୟରେ ଜଣେ ଶତ-ସେନାପତିଙ୍କର ଦାସ ଅସୁସ୍ଥ ହୋଇ ମଲା ଭଳି ହୋଇଥିଲା, ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରିୟପାତ୍ର ଥିଲେ।
3 When he heard about Jesus, he sent to him Jewish elders, asking him to come and save his servant.
ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଖବର ପାଇ, ସେ ଯେପରି ଆସି ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦାସର ପ୍ରାଣ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କର କେତେକ ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କଲେ।
4 When they came to Jesus, they pleaded with him earnestly, saying, "He is worthy for you to do this for him,
ସେମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବିଶେଷ ବିନତି କରି କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, ଆପଣ ଯେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହା କରିବେ, ସେ ସେଥିର ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ଅଟନ୍ତି;
5 for he loves our nation, and he built our synagogue for us."
କାରଣ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଯିହୁଦୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଆପେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ସମାଜଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
6 Jesus went with them. When he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to him, "Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy for you to come under my roof.
ସେଥିରେ ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଗଲେ। ସେ ଘରର ଅଳ୍ପ ଦୂରରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ, ଶତ-ସେନାପତି ବନ୍ଧୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ପ୍ରଭୁ, କଷ୍ଟ କରନ୍ତୁ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ଆପଣ ଯେ ମୋ ଘରେ ପାଦ ପକାଇବେ, ମୁଁ ଏପରି ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ;
7 Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to you; but say the word, and my servant will be healed.
ଏଣୁ ମୁଁ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯିବାକୁ ନିଜକୁ ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ବିଚାର କଲି ନାହିଁ; କିନ୍ତୁ ପଦେ ଆଜ୍ଞା କରନ୍ତୁ, ମୋହର ଦାସ ସୁସ୍ଥ ହେବ।
8 For I also am a man placed under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, 'Go.' and he goes; and to another, 'Come.' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
କାରଣ ମୁଁ ପରାଧୀନ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ହେଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋହର ଅଧୀନରେ ସୈନ୍ୟମାନେ ଅଛନ୍ତି; ଆଉ, ମୁଁ ଜଣକୁ ଯାଅ କହିଲେ ସେ ଯାଏ; ଅନ୍ୟକୁ ଆସ କହିଲେ ସେ ଆସେ; ପୁଣି, ମୋହର ଦାସକୁ ଏହା କର କହିଲେ ସେ ତାହା କରେ।
9 When Jesus heard these things, he was amazed at him, and turned and said to the crowd who followed him, "I tell you, I have not found such great faith, no, not in Israel."
ଯୀଶୁ ଏସମସ୍ତ କଥା ଶୁଣି ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଚକିତ ହେଲେ, ଆଉ ବୁଲିପଡ଼ି ତାହାଙ୍କ ପଛରେ ଆସୁଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୁଁ ଏଡ଼େ ବଡ଼ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ପାଇ ନାହିଁ।”
10 And when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the servant in good health.
ଆଉ ପଠାଯାଇଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ଘରକୁ ଫେରିଆସି ଦାସକୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ ଦେଖିଲେ।
11 It happened soon afterwards, that he went to a city called Nain; and many of his disciples, along with a large crowd, went with him.
ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେ ନାଇନ ନାମକ ନଗରକୁ ଯାତ୍ରା କଲେ, ଆଉ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ଓ ବହୁସଂଖ୍ୟକ ଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ଯାଉଥିଲେ।
12 And when he drew near to the gate of the city, then look, a man who was dead was carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow; and a large crowd from the city was with her.
ସେ ନଗର-ଦ୍ୱାର ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ, ଦେଖ, ଲୋକେ ଜଣେ ମୃତ ମନୁଷ୍ୟକୁ ବାହାରକୁ ବୋହି ଆଣୁଥିଲେ, ସେ ଆପଣା ମାତାର ଏକମାତ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର, ପୁଣି, ସେହି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ବିଧବା; ଆଉ ନଗରର ବହୁସଂଖ୍ୟକ ଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଥିଲେ।
13 When the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said to her, "Do not cry."
ତାହାକୁ ଦେଖି ପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ଦୟାରେ ବିଗଳିତ ହୋଇ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, “ରୋଦନ କର ନାହିଁ।”
14 He came near and touched the coffin, and the bearers stood still. He said, "Young man, I tell you, arise."
ଆଉ ସେ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାଇ କୋକେଇ ଛୁଇଁଲେ, ପୁଣି, ବୋହି ନେଉଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ଠିଆ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ ସେ କହିଲେ, “ଯୁବକ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହୁଅଛି, ଉଠ।”
15 He who was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he gave him to his mother.
ସେଥିରେ ମୃତ ଯୁବକଟି ଉଠି ବସିଲା ଆଉ କଥା କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା, ପୁଣି, ସେ ତାହାକୁ ତାହାର ମାତାର ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲେ।
16 Fear took hold of all, and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has arisen among us." and, "God has visited his people."
ଏଥିରେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଭୟ ଖେଳିଗଲା ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରୁ କରୁ କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଜଣେ ମହାନ ଭାବବାଦୀ ଉତ୍ଥିତ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ଈଶ୍ବର ଆପଣା ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କୃପାଦୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
17 This report went out concerning him in the whole of Judea, and in all the surrounding region.
ପୁଣି, ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଏହି ସମ୍ବାଦ ସମସ୍ତ ଯିହୂଦିୟା ପ୍ରଦେଶ ଓ ଚାରିପାଖର ସମସ୍ତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ବ୍ୟାପିଗଲା।
18 The disciples of John told him about all these things.
ପରେ ବାପ୍ତିଜକ ଯୋହନଙ୍କ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇଲେ।
19 John, calling to himself two of his disciples, sent them to the Lord, saying, "Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?"
ସେଥିରେ ଯୋହନ ଆପଣା ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଦୁଇ ଜଣଙ୍କୁ ପାଖକୁ ଡାକି ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଏହା କହି ପଠାଇଲେ, ଆପଣ କଅଣ ସେହି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଯାହାଙ୍କର ଆଗମନ ହେବ, ନା ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷାରେ ରହିବୁ?
20 When the men had come to him, they said, "John the Baptist has sent us to you, saying, 'Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?'"
ସେହି ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି କହିଲେ, ବାପ୍ତିଜକ ଯୋହନ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଏହା କହି ପଠାଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ଯାହାଙ୍କର ଆଗମନ ହେବ, ସେହି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି କି ଆପଣ, ଅବା ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷାରେ ରହିବୁ?
21 In that hour he cured many of diseases and plagues and evil spirits; and to many who were blind he gave sight.
ସେହି ସମୟରେ ସେ ଅନେକଙ୍କୁ ରୋଗ, କଷ୍ଟ ଓ ମନ୍ଦ-ଆତ୍ମାମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ କଲେ, ପୁଣି, ଅନେକ ଅନ୍ଧମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିବାର ଶକ୍ତି ଦେଲେ।
22 Jesus answered them, "Go and tell John the things which you have seen and heard: that the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them.
ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯାଇ, ଯାହା ଯାହା ଦେଖିଅଛ ଓ ଶୁଣିଅଛ, ସେହିସବୁ ଯୋହନଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଅ; ଅନ୍ଧମାନେ ଦେଖି ପାରନ୍ତି, ଖଞ୍ଜମାନେ ଚାଲି ପାରନ୍ତି, କୁଷ୍ଠରୋଗୀମାନେ ଶୁଚି ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ବଧିରମାନେ ଶୁଣି ପାରନ୍ତି, ମୃତମାନେ ଜୀବିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ଦରିଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସୁସମାଚାର ପ୍ରଚାରିତ ହୁଏ;
23 Blessed is he who is not offended by me."
ଆଉ, ଯେଉଁ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ବାଧାର କାରଣ ପାଏ ନାହିଁ, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ।
24 When John's messengers had departed, he began to tell the crowds about John, "What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?
ଯୋହନଙ୍କ ଦୂତମାନେ ଯିବା ପରେ ଯୀଶୁ ଯୋହନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କଅଣ ଦେଖିବା ପାଇଁ ମରୁଭୂମିକୁ ବାହାରିଯାଇଥିଲ, କଅଣ ପବନରେ ଦୋହଲୁଥିବା ଗୋଟିଏ ନଳ?
25 But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft clothing? Look, those who are gorgeously dressed, and live delicately, are in kings' courts.
ତାହା ନ ହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କଅଣ ଦେଖିବା ପାଇଁ ବାହାରିଯାଇଥିଲ? କଅଣ ଦାମୀ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପିନ୍ଧିଥିବା ଜଣେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ? ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସୁନ୍ଦର ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପିନ୍ଧନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସୁଖରେ ସମୟ କଟାନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ରାଜପ୍ରାସାଦରେ ଥାଆନ୍ତି।
26 But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and much more than a prophet.
ତାହା ନ ହେଲେ କଅଣ ଦେଖିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ବାହାରି ଯାଇଥିଲ? କଅଣ ଜଣେ ଭାବବାଦୀଙ୍କୁ? ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ୟ କହୁଅଛି, ଭାବବାଦୀଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅଧିକ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ।
27 This is he of whom it is written, 'Look, I send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.'
ଯାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଏହା ଲେଖାଅଛି, ‘ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦୂତକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଆଗରେ ପଠାଉଅଛୁ, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଥ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବ, ଏ ସେହି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି।’
28 "I tell you, among those who are born of women there is none greater than John, yet he who is least in the Kingdom of God is greater than he."
ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଗର୍ଭରୁ ଜନ୍ମ ହୋଇଥିବା ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯୋହନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମହାନ କେହି ନାହାନ୍ତି; ତଥାପି ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଯେ କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ରତମ, ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମହାନ।”
29 When all the people and the tax collectors heard this, they declared God to be just, having been baptized with John's baptism.
ଏହା ଶୁଣି ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ, ଏପରିକି କରଗ୍ରାହୀମାନେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଯୋହନଙ୍କ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମରେ ବାପ୍ତିଜିତ ହୋଇଥିବାରୁ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଯଥାର୍ଥ ବୋଲି ସ୍ୱୀକାର କଲେ;
30 But the Pharisees and the Law scholars rejected the counsel of God, not being baptized by him themselves.
କିନ୍ତୁ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ ଓ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାଶାସ୍ତ୍ରଜ୍ଞମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ବାପ୍ତିଜିତ ନ ହୋଇ ନିଜ ନିଜ ବିଷୟରେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଯୋଜନା ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ କଲେ।
31 "To what then will I liken the people of this generation? What are they like?
“ତେବେ ମୁଁ କାହା ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ପୁରୁଷର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁଳନା କରିବି, ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ କାହାରି ତୁଲ୍ୟ?
32 They are like children who sit in the marketplace, and call one to another, saying, 'We played the flute for you, and you did not dance. We mourned, and you did not weep.'
ଯେଉଁ ପିଲାମାନେ ହାଟବଜାରରେ ବସି ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ଡାକି କହନ୍ତି, ‘ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ବଂଶୀ ବଜାଇଲୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନାଚିଲ ନାହିଁ; ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିଳାପ କଲୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କାନ୍ଦିଲ ନାହିଁ, ସେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପରି।’
33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, 'He has a demon.'
କାରଣ ବାପ୍ତିଜକ ଯୋହନ ଆସି ରୁଟି ଖାଇଲେ ନାହିଁ ଓ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ପିଇଲେ ନାହିଁ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କହୁଅଛ, ‘ସେ ଭୂତଗ୍ରସ୍ତ।’
34 The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, 'Look, a gluttonous man, and a drunkard; a friend of tax collectors and sinners.'
ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ର ଆସି ଭୋଜନପାନ କରନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କହୁଅଛ, ‘ଦେଖ, ଏ ଜଣେ ପେଟୁକ ଓ ମଦୁଆ, କରଗ୍ରାହୀ ଓ ପାପୀମାନଙ୍କର ବନ୍ଧୁ।’
35 Wisdom is justified by all her children."
ମାତ୍ର ଜ୍ଞାନ ଆପଣା ସମସ୍ତ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଯଥାର୍ଥ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରମାଣିତ ହୋଇଅଛି।”
36 One of the Pharisees invited him to eat with him. He entered into the Pharisee's house, and sat at the table.
ଆଉ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଜଣେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ସହିତ ଭୋଜନ କରିବାକୁ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରଣ କଲେ। ସେଥିରେ ସେ ଫାରୂଶୀଙ୍କ ଗୃହରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ଭୋଜନରେ ବସିଲେ।
37 And look, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that he was reclining in the Pharisee's house, she brought an alabaster jar of ointment.
ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ସେହି ନଗରରେ ଜଣେ ପାପିନୀ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଥିଲା; ଯୀଶୁ ସେହି ଫାରୂଶୀଙ୍କ ଗୃହରେ ଭୋଜନରେ ବସିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଏହା ଜାଣି ପାରି ସେ ଗୋଟିଏ ପାତ୍ରରେ ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ତୈଳ ଆଣି,
38 Standing behind at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears, and she wiped them with the hair of her head, kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.
ପଛଆଡ଼େ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଦ ପାଖରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ ରୋଦନ କରୁ କରୁ ଲୁହରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଦ ଓଦା କରି ନିଜ ମସ୍ତକର କେଶରେ ତାହା ପୋଛିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା, ଆଉ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଦକୁ ଚୁମ୍ବନ କରୁ କରୁ ସେହି ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ତୈଳ ଲଗାଇ ଦେବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା।
39 Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw it, he said to himself, "This man, if he were a prophet, would have perceived who and what kind of woman this is who touches him, that she is a sinner."
ତାହା ଦେଖି, ଯେଉଁ ଫାରୂଶୀ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରଣ କରିଥିଲେ, ସେ ମନେ ମନେ କହିଲେ, ଏ ଯଦି ଭାବବାଦୀ ହୋଇଥାଆନ୍ତା, ତାହାହେଲେ ଏହାକୁ ଯେ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କରୁଅଛି, ସେ କିଏ ଓ କି ପ୍ରକାର ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ସେ ଯେ ପାପିନୀ, ଏହା ଜାଣିଥାଆନ୍ତା।
40 Jesus answered him, "Simon, I have something to tell you." He said, "Teacher, say on."
ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, “ଶିମୋନ, ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମୋହର କିଛି କହିବାର ଅଛି।” ସେ କହିଲେ, ଗୁରୁ, କୁହନ୍ତୁ।
41 "A certain lender had two debtors. The one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.
“ଜଣେ ମହାଜନଙ୍କର ଦୁଇ ଜଣ ଋଣୀ ଥିଲେ; ଜଣେ ପାଞ୍ଚଶହ ଦିନର ମଜୁରୀ ସମାନ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ଓ ଆଉ ଜଣେ ପଚାଶ ଦିନର ମଜୁରୀ ସମାନ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ଋଣ କରିଥିଲା।
42 When they could not pay, he forgave them both. Which of them therefore will love him most?"
ଋଣ ସୁଝିବାକୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର କିଛି ନ ଥିବାରୁ ସେ ଉଭୟଙ୍କର ଋଣ କ୍ଷମା କଲେ। ଏଣୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କିଏ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଅଧିକ ପ୍ରେମ କରିବ?”
43 Simon answered, "He, I suppose, to whom he forgave the most." He said to him, "You have judged correctly."
ଶିମୋନ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ମୁଁ ଜାଣିବାରେ, ସେ ଯାହାର ଅଧିକ ଋଣ କ୍ଷମା କଲେ, ସେ। ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଠିକ୍ ବିଚାର କଲ।”
44 Turning to the woman, he said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I entered into your house, and you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears, and wiped them with her hair.
ଆଉ, ସେ ସେହି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରତି ମୁଖ ଫେରାଇ ଶିମୋନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଏହି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀକୁ ଦେଖୁଅଛ? ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗୃହକୁ ଆସିଲି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋ ପାଦ ପାଇଁ ପାଣି ଦେଲ ନାହିଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଏ ଲୁହରେ ମୋହର ପାଦ ସିକ୍ତ କରି ନିଜ କେଶରେ ତାହା ପୋଛିଦେଲା।
45 You gave me no kiss, but she, since the time I came in, has not ceased to kiss my feet.
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଚୁମ୍ବନ କଲ ନାହିଁ? କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ଭିତରକୁ ଆସିବା ସମୟଠାରୁ ଏ ମୋହର ପାଦ ଚୁମ୍ବନ କରିବାକୁ ବନ୍ଦ କରି ନାହିଁ।
46 You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment.
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ମସ୍ତକରେ ତୈଳ ଲଗାଇଲ ନାହିଁ? କିନ୍ତୁ ଏ ମୋହର ପାଦରେ ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ତୈଳ ଲଗାଇଲା।
47 Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little."
ଏଣୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହୁଅଛି, ଏହାର ଅନେକ ପାପ କ୍ଷମା ହୋଇଅଛି, କାରଣ ସେ ବହୁତ ପ୍ରେମ କଲା; କିନ୍ତୁ ଯାହାକୁ ଅଳ୍ପ କ୍ଷମା ଦିଆଯାଏ, ସେ ଅଳ୍ପ ପ୍ରେମ କରେ।”
48 He said to her, "Your sins are forgiven."
ଆଉ ସେ ସେହି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀକୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୋହର ପାପସବୁ କ୍ଷମା ହୋଇଅଛି।”
49 And those who were reclining with him began to say to themselves, "Who is this who even forgives sins?"
ସେଥିରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ଭୋଜନରେ ବସିଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ମନେ ମନେ କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, ପାପ ସୁଦ୍ଧା କ୍ଷମା କରୁଅଛି ଯେ, ଏ କିଏ?
50 He said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you. Go in peace."
କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ସେହି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀକୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୋହର ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ତୋତେ ରକ୍ଷା କରିଅଛି; ଶାନ୍ତିରେ ଚାଲିଯାଅ।”
