Luke 21
1 He looked up, and saw the rich people who were putting their gifts into the treasury.
യേശു തലയുയർത്തിനോക്കി, ധനികർ ദൈവാലയഭണ്ഡാരത്തിൽ പണം അർപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നതു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു.
2 He saw a certain poor widow casting in two lepta.
അപ്പോൾ ദരിദ്രയായ ഒരു വിധവ അവിടെ വളരെ ചെറിയ രണ്ട് ചെമ്പുനാണയങ്ങൾ അർപ്പിക്കുന്നതും അദ്ദേഹം കണ്ടു.
3 He said, "Truly I tell you, this poor widow put in more than all of them,
“ഈ ദരിദ്രയായ വിധവ മറ്റെല്ലാവരെക്കാളും കൂടുതൽ അർപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു, നിശ്ചയം എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.
4 for all these put in gifts from their abundance, but she, out of her poverty, put in all that she had to live on."
മറ്റെല്ലാവരും അവരുടെ സമ്പൽസമൃദ്ധിയിൽനിന്നാണ് അർപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്; ഇവളോ തന്റെ ദാരിദ്ര്യത്തിൽനിന്ന്, അവളുടെ ഉപജീവനത്തിനുണ്ടായിരുന്നതു മുഴുവനും അർപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു,” എന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
5 As some were talking about the temple and how it was decorated with beautiful stones and gifts, he said,
ചില ശിഷ്യർ ദൈവാലയത്തെക്കുറിച്ച്, അതു മനോഹരമായ കല്ലുകളാലും വഴിപാടായി ലഭിച്ച വസ്തുക്കളാലും അലംകൃതമായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ യേശു ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രതിവചിച്ചു:
6 "As for these things which you see, the days will come, in which there will not be left here one stone on another that will not be thrown down."
“നിങ്ങൾ ഈ കാണുന്നത്, ഒരു കല്ലിനുമീതേ മറ്റൊരു കല്ല് ശേഷിക്കാത്തവിധം എല്ലാം നിലംപൊത്തുന്ന കാലം വരുന്നു.”
7 They asked him, "Teacher, so when will these things be? What is the sign that these things are about to happen?"
“ഗുരോ, എപ്പോഴാണ് ഈ കാര്യങ്ങൾ സംഭവിക്കുക? അവ സംഭവിക്കാറായി എന്നതിന്റെ ലക്ഷണം എന്തായിരിക്കും?” അവർ ചോദിച്ചു.
8 He said, "Watch out that you do not get led astray, for many will come in my name, saying, 'I am he,' and, 'The time is near.' Therefore do not follow them.
അദ്ദേഹം അതിനു മറുപടി ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു: “ആരും നിങ്ങളെ വഞ്ചിക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ സൂക്ഷിക്കുക. ‘ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു ക്രിസ്തു’ എന്നും ‘സമയം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു’ എന്നും അവകാശപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ട് ധാരാളംപേർ എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ വരും. അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ പോകരുത്.
9 When you hear of wars and disturbances, do not be terrified, for these things must happen first, but the end won't come immediately."
നിങ്ങൾ യുദ്ധങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചും കലാപങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചും കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ പരിഭ്രാന്തരാകരുത്. ഇവ ആദ്യം സംഭവിക്കേണ്ടതാകുന്നു. എന്നാൽ, അത്രപെട്ടെന്ന് യുഗാവസാനം സംഭവിക്കുകയില്ല.”
10 Then he said to them, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
അദ്ദേഹം തുടർന്നു, “ജനതകൾതമ്മിലും രാജ്യങ്ങൾതമ്മിലും യുദ്ധംചെയ്യും.
11 There will be great earthquakes, famines, and plagues in various places. There will be terrors and great signs from heaven.
വലിയ ഭൂകമ്പങ്ങളും ലോകത്തിന്റെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ ക്ഷാമവും പകർച്ചവ്യാധികളും ഉണ്ടാകും. ഭയാനകസംഭവങ്ങളും ആകാശത്ത് വലിയ അത്ഭുതചിഹ്നങ്ങളും ദൃശ്യമാകും.
12 But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and will persecute you, delivering you up to synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for my name's sake.
“എന്നാൽ ഇതിനെല്ലാംമുമ്പേ, എന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം അവർ നിങ്ങളെ ബന്ധിതരാക്കി ഉപദ്രവിക്കും. നിങ്ങളെ പള്ളികളിലേക്കും കാരാഗൃഹങ്ങളിലേക്കും വലിച്ചിഴച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോകും; എന്റെ അനുയായികളായതിനാൽ, രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെയും അധികാരികളുടെയും മുമ്പിൽ നിർത്തും.
13 It will turn out as a testimony for you.
അതു നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എന്നെക്കുറിച്ച് സാക്ഷ്യം പറയാനുള്ള അവസരമായിരിക്കും.
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts not to meditate beforehand how to answer,
അതുകൊണ്ട് എങ്ങനെ പ്രതിവാദം നടത്തും എന്ന് ചിന്തിച്ച് മുൻകൂട്ടി വ്യാകുലപ്പെടേണ്ടതില്ല.
15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to withstand or to contradict.
എന്തുകൊണ്ടെന്നാൽ, നിങ്ങളുടെ എതിരാളികളിൽ ആർക്കും ചെറുത്തുനിൽക്കാനോ എതിർത്തുപറയാനോ കഴിയാത്ത വാക്കുകളും പരിജ്ഞാനവും ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു നൽകും.
16 You will be handed over even by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends. They will cause some of you to be put to death.
മാതാപിതാക്കളും സഹോദരങ്ങളും ബന്ധുക്കളും സ്നേഹിതരും നിങ്ങളെ ഒറ്റിക്കൊടുക്കും. അവർ നിങ്ങളിൽ ചിലരെ കൊന്നുകളയും.
17 And you will be hated by everyone because of my name.
നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ അനുയായികൾ ആയിരിക്കുന്നതു നിമിത്തം സകലരും നിങ്ങളെ വെറുക്കും.
18 But not a hair of your head will perish.
എന്നാൽ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ഒരു തലമുടിപോലും നശിച്ചുപോകുകയില്ല.
19 "By your endurance you will win your lives.
നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്ഥൈര്യത്താൽ നിങ്ങൾ ജീവൻ പ്രാപിക്കും.
20 "But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near.
“സൈന്യം ജെറുശലേമിനെ വലയംചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു കാണുമ്പോൾ അതിന്റെ നാശം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കറിയാൻ കഴിയും.
21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let those who are in the midst of her depart. Let those who are in the country not enter it.
അപ്പോൾ യെഹൂദ്യപ്രവിശ്യയിലുള്ളവർ മലകളിലേക്ക് ഓടിപ്പോകട്ടെ; നഗരത്തിനകത്തുള്ളവർ അവിടംവിട്ടു പുറത്തിറങ്ങി വരട്ടെ; നാട്ടിൻപുറങ്ങളിലുള്ളവർ നഗരത്തിനുള്ളിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.
22 For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
കാരണം, പ്രവചനലിഖിതങ്ങൾ എല്ലാം പൂർത്തിയാകുന്ന പ്രതികാരകാലമാകുന്നു അത്.
23 Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who nurse infants in those days. For there will be great distress in the land, and wrath to this people.
ആ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ ഗർഭവതികൾക്കും മുലയൂട്ടുന്ന അമ്മമാർക്കും ഹാ കഷ്ടം! ദേശത്തെല്ലാം വലിയ ദുരിതവും ദേശവാസികൾക്കെതിരേ ക്രോധവും ഉണ്ടാകും.
24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive into all the nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled down by non-Jewish people until the times are fulfilled. And there will be times of the non-Jewish people.
അവരിൽ അനേകരെ വാളിനിരയാക്കുകയും മറ്റുള്ളവരെ സകലരാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളിലേക്കും ബന്ദികളാക്കി കൊണ്ടുപോകുകയും ചെയ്യും. യെഹൂദേതരർക്ക് അനുവദിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന കാലം പൂർത്തിയാകുംവരെ അവർ ജെറുശലേമിനെ ചവിട്ടിയരയ്ക്കും.
25 And there will be signs in the sun, and moon, and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves;
“സൂര്യനിലും ചന്ദ്രനിലും നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളിലും ചിഹ്നങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാകും; കടലിന്റെയും ഭീകരതിരമാലകളുടെയും ഗർജനത്താൽ ഭൂമിയിലെ ജനസഞ്ചയങ്ങൾ നടുങ്ങി പരിഭ്രമിക്കും.
26 people will be fainting from fear, and from expectation of the things which are coming on the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
ആകാശഗോളങ്ങൾ സ്വസ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്നു വ്യതിചലിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് ലോകത്തിന് എന്തു സംഭവിക്കാൻ പോകുന്നു എന്ന സംഭ്രമത്തോടെ മനുഷ്യർ ഭീതിപൂണ്ട് ബോധരഹിതരായി നിപതിക്കും.
27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
അപ്പോൾ ശക്തിയോടും മഹാതേജസ്സോടുംകൂടെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ (ഞാൻ) മേഘത്തിൽ വരുന്നത് എല്ലാവരും ദർശിക്കും.
28 But when these things begin to happen, look up, and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near."
ഇക്കാര്യങ്ങൾ സംഭവിച്ചുതുടങ്ങുമ്പോൾ, ധൈര്യപൂർവം നിവർന്നുനിൽക്കുക; നിങ്ങളുടെ വിമോചനം സമീപമായിരിക്കുന്നു!”
29 He told them a parable. "See the fig tree, and all the trees.
പിന്നെ യേശു അവരോട് ഈ സാദൃശ്യകഥ പറഞ്ഞു: “അത്തിവൃക്ഷത്തെയും മറ്റു വൃക്ഷങ്ങളെയും ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുനോക്കുക;
30 When they are already budding, you see it and know by your own selves that the summer is already near.
അവ കോമളമായി തളിർക്കുമ്പോൾ വേനൽക്കാലം സമീപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് ആരും പറയാതെതന്നെ നിങ്ങൾ ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നല്ലോ.
31 Even so you also, when you see these things happening, know that the Kingdom of God is near.
അതുപോലെതന്നെ, ഈ കാര്യങ്ങൾ സംഭവിക്കുന്നതു കാണുമ്പോൾ ദൈവരാജ്യവും ആസന്നമായിരിക്കുന്നെന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു മനസ്സിലാക്കാം.
32 Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all things are accomplished.
“ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയട്ടെ, ഇവയെല്ലാം സംഭവിച്ചുതീരുന്നതുവരെ ഈ തലമുറ അവസാനിക്കുകയില്ല, നിശ്ചയം.
33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away.
ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും നശിച്ചുപോകും; എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളോ, അനശ്വരമായിരിക്കും.
34 "So be careful, or your hearts will be loaded down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day will come on you suddenly.
“സൂക്ഷിക്കുക! സുഖലോലുപതയിലും മദ്യാസക്തിയിലും മതിമറന്നും, ജീവിതോത്കണ്ഠയിൽ ആമഗ്നരായും മന്ദമനസ്ക്കരായിത്തീർന്നിട്ട് ആ നാൾ ഒരു കെണി എന്നപോലെ തികച്ചും അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി നിങ്ങൾക്കു വരാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.
35 For it will come like a snare on all those who dwell on the surface of all the earth.
ആ ദിവസം സകലഭൂവാസികളുടെമേലും വരും.
36 Therefore be watchful all the time, praying that you may be able to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man."
എപ്പോഴും പ്രാർഥനാനിരതരായി ജാഗ്രതയോടിരിക്കുക! താമസംവിനാ സംഭവിക്കാനിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ഭീകരാനുഭവങ്ങളിൽനിന്നെല്ലാം രക്ഷനേടാൻ സുശക്തരാകുന്നതിനും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിർലജ്ജം നിൽക്കുന്നതിനും അപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കഴിയും.”
37 Every day Jesus was teaching in the temple, and every night he would go out and spend the night on the mountain that is called Olivet.
യേശു പകലെല്ലാം ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ഉപദേശിക്കുകയും സന്ധ്യയാകുമ്പോൾ ഒലിവുമലയിൽ ചെന്നു രാപാർക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുവന്നു.
38 All the people came early in the morning to him in the temple to hear him.
അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വചനം കേൾക്കേണ്ടതിന് ജനമെല്ലാം അതിരാവിലെതന്നെ എഴുന്നേറ്റ് ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ വന്നുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
