< John 5 >

1 After these things, there was a Jewish festival, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
تَتَح پَرَں یِہُودِییانامْ اُتْسَوَ اُپَسْتھِتے یِیشُ رْیِرُوشالَمَں گَتَوانْ۔
2 Now in Jerusalem by the sheep area there is a pool, which is called in Hebrew, "Beth Hesda," having five porches.
تَسْمِنَّگَرے میشَنامْنو دْوارَسْیَ سَمِیپے اِبْرِییَبھاشَیا بَیتھیسْدا نامْنا پِشْکَرِنِی پَنْچَگھَٹَّیُکْتاسِیتْ۔
3 In these lay a multitude of those who were sick, blind, lame, or paralyzed.
تَسْیاسْتیشُ گھَٹّیشُ کِلالَکَمْپَنَمْ اَپیکْشْیَ اَنْدھَکھَنْچَشُشْکانْگادَیو بَہَوو روگِنَح پَتَنْتَسْتِشْٹھَنْتِ سْمَ۔

یَتو وِشیشَکالے تَسْیَ سَرَسو وارِ سْوَرْگِییَدُوتَ ایتْیاکَمْپَیَتْ تَتْکِیلالَکَمْپَناتْ پَرَں یَح کَشْچِدْ روگِی پْرَتھَمَں پانِییَمَواروہَتْ سَ ایوَ تَتْکْشَنادْ روگَمُکْتوبھَوَتْ۔
5 A certain man was there, who had been sick for thirty-eight years.
تَداشْٹاتْرِںشَدْوَرْشانِ یاوَدْ روگَگْرَسْتَ ایکَجَنَسْتَسْمِنْ سْتھانے سْتھِتَوانْ۔
6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had been sick for a long time, he asked him, "Do you want to be made well?"
یِیشُسْتَں شَیِتَں درِشْٹْوا بَہُکالِکَروگِیتِ جْناتْوا وْیاہرِتَوانْ تْوَں کِں سْوَسْتھو بُبھُوشَسِ؟
7 The sick man answered him, "Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, but while I am on my way, someone else steps down ahead of me."
تَتو روگِی کَتھِتَوانْ ہے مَہیچّھَ یَدا کِیلالَں کَمْپَتے تَدا ماں پُشْکَرِنِیمْ اَوَروہَیِتُں مَمَ کوپِ ناسْتِ، تَسْمانْ مَمَ گَمَنَکالے کَشْچِدَنْیوگْرو گَتْوا اَوَروہَتِ۔
8 Jesus said to him, "Arise, take up your mat, and walk."
تَدا یِیشُرَکَتھَیَدْ اُتِّشْٹھَ، تَوَ شَیّامُتّولْیَ گرِہِیتْوا یاہِ۔
9 Immediately, the man was made well, and took up his mat and walked. Now it was the Sabbath on that day.
سَ تَتْکْشَناتْ سْوَسْتھو بھُوتْوا شَیّامُتّولْیادایَ گَتَوانْ کِنْتُ تَدِّنَں وِشْرامَوارَح۔
10 So the Jewish leaders said to him who was cured, "It is the Sabbath. It is not lawful for you to carry the mat."
تَسْمادْ یِہُودِییاح سْوَسْتھَں نَرَں وْیاہَرَنْ اَدْیَ وِشْرامَوارے شَیَنِییَمادایَ نَ یاتَوْیَمْ۔
11 But he answered them, "The one who made me well, that one said to me, 'Take up your mat, and walk.'"
تَتَح سَ پْرَتْیَووچَدْ یو ماں سْوَسْتھَمْ اَکارْشِیتْ شَیَنِییَمْ اُتّولْیادایَ یاتُں ماں سَ ایوادِشَتْ۔
12 Then they asked him, "Who is the man who said to you to pick it up and walk?"
تَدا تےپرِچّھَنْ شَیَنِییَمْ اُتّولْیادایَ یاتُں یَ آجْناپَیَتْ سَ کَح؟
13 But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a crowd being in the place.
کِنْتُ سَ کَ اِتِ سْوَسْتھِیبھُوتو ناجانادْ یَتَسْتَسْمِنْ سْتھانے جَنَتاسَتّوادْ یِیشُح سْتھانانْتَرَمْ آگَمَتْ۔
14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, "See, you are made well. Sin no more, so that nothing worse happens to you."
تَتَح پَرَں ییشُ رْمَنْدِرے تَں نَرَں ساکْشاتْپْراپْیاکَتھَیَتْ پَشْییدانِیمْ اَنامَیو جاتوسِ یَتھادھِکا دُرْدَشا نَ گھَٹَتے تَدّھیتوح پاپَں کَرْمَّ پُنَرْماکارْشِیح۔
15 The man went away, and told the Jewish leaders that it was Jesus who had made him well.
تَتَح سَ گَتْوا یِہُودِییانْ اَوَدَدْ یِیشُ رْمامْ اَروگِنَمْ اَکارْشِیتْ۔
16 For this cause the Jewish leaders persecuted Jesus, because he did these things on the Sabbath.
تَتو یِیشُ رْوِشْرامَوارے کَرْمّیدرِشَں کرِتَوانْ اِتِ ہیتو رْیِہُودِییاسْتَں تاڈَیِتْوا ہَنْتُمْ اَچیشْٹَنْتَ۔
17 But he answered them, "My Father is still working, so I am working, too."
یِیشُسْتاناکھْیَتْ مَمَ پِتا یَتْ کارْیَّں کَروتِ تَدَنُرُوپَمْ اَہَمَپِ کَروتِ۔
18 For this cause therefore the Jewish leaders sought all the more to kill him, because he not only broke the Sabbath, but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
تَتو یِہُودِییاسْتَں ہَنْتُں پُنَرَیَتَنْتَ یَتو وِشْرامَوارَں نامَنْیَتَ تَدیوَ کیوَلَں نَ اَدھِکَنْتُ اِیشْوَرَں سْوَپِتَرَں پْروچْیَ سْوَمَپِیشْوَرَتُلْیَں کرِتَوانْ۔
19 Jesus therefore answered them, "Truly, truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father doing. For whatever things he does, these the Son also does likewise.
پَشْچادْ یِیشُرَوَدَدْ یُشْمانَہَں یَتھارْتھَتَرَں وَدامِ پُتْرَح پِتَرَں یَدْیَتْ کَرْمَّ کُرْوَّنْتَں پَشْیَتِ تَدَتِرِکْتَں سْویچّھاتَح کِمَپِ کَرْمَّ کَرْتُّں نَ شَکْنوتِ۔ پِتا یَتْ کَروتِ پُتْروپِ تَدیوَ کَروتِ۔
20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows him all things that he himself does. He will show him greater works than these, so that you may marvel.
پِتا پُتْرے سْنیہَں کَروتِ تَسْماتْ سْوَیَں یَدْیَتْ کَرْمَّ کَروتِ تَتْسَرْوَّں پُتْرَں دَرْشَیَتِ ؛ یَتھا چَ یُشْماکَں آشْچَرْیَّجْنانَں جَنِشْیَتے تَدَرْتھَمْ اِتوپِ مَہاکَرْمَّ تَں دَرْشَیِشْیَتِ۔
21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom he desires.
وَسْتُتَسْتُ پِتا یَتھا پْرَمِتانْ اُتّھاپْیَ سَجِوانْ کَروتِ تَدْوَتْ پُتْروپِ یَں یَں اِچّھَتِ تَں تَں سَجِیوَں کَروتِ۔
22 For the Father judges no one, but he has given all judgment to the Son,
سَرْوّے پِتَرَں یَتھا سَتْکُرْوَّنْتِ تَتھا پُتْرَمَپِ سَتْکارَیِتُں پِتا سْوَیَں کَسْیاپِ وِچارَمَکرِتْوا سَرْوَّوِچاراناں بھارَں پُتْرے سَمَرْپِتَوانْ۔
23 that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.
یَح پُتْرَں سَتْ کَروتِ سَ تَسْیَ پْریرَکَمَپِ سَتْ کَروتِ۔
24 "Truly, truly, I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has everlasting life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. (aiōnios g166)
یُشْماناہَں یَتھارْتھَتَرَں وَدامِ یو جَنو مَمَ واکْیَں شْرُتْوا مَتْپْریرَکے وِشْوَسِتِ سونَنْتایُح پْراپْنوتِ کَداپِ دَنْڈَباجَنَں نَ بھَوَتِ نِدھَنادُتّھایَ پَرَمایُح پْراپْنوتِ۔ (aiōnios g166)
25 Truly, truly, I tell you, the hour comes, and now is, when the dead will hear the Son of God's voice; and those who hear will live.
اَہَں یُشْمانَتِیَتھارْتھَں وَدامِ یَدا مرِتا اِیشْوَرَپُتْرَسْیَ نِنادَں شْروشْیَنْتِ یے چَ شْروشْیَنْتِ تے سَجِیوا بھَوِشْیَنْتِ سَمَیَ ایتادرِشَ آیاتِ وَرَمْ اِدانِیمَپْیُپَتِشْٹھَتِ۔
26 For as the Father has life in himself, even so he gave to the Son also to have life in himself.
پِتا یَتھا سْوَیَنْجِیوِی تَتھا پُتْرایَ سْوَیَنْجِیوِتْوادھِکارَں دَتَّوانْ۔
27 He also gave him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.
سَ مَنُشْیَپُتْرَح ایتَسْماتْ کارَناتْ پِتا دَنْڈَکَرَنادھِکارَمَپِ تَسْمِنْ سَمَرْپِتَوانْ۔
28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour comes, in which all that are in the tombs will hear his voice,
ایتَدَرْتھے یُویَمْ آشْچَرْیَّں نَ مَنْیَدھْوَں یَتو یَسْمِنْ سَمَیے تَسْیَ نِنادَں شْرُتْوا شْمَشانَسْتھاح سَرْوّے بَہِراگَمِشْیَنْتِ سَمَیَ ایتادرِشَ اُپَسْتھاسْیَتِ۔
29 and will come out; those who have done good, to the resurrection of life; and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment.
تَسْمادْ یے سَتْکَرْمّانِ کرِتَوَنْتَسْتَ اُتّھایَ آیُح پْراپْسْیَنْتِ یے چَ کُکَرْمانِ کرِتَوَنْتَسْتَ اُتّھایَ دَنْڈَں پْراپْسْیَنْتِ۔
30 I can of myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous; because I do not seek my own will, but the will of the One who sent me.
اَہَں سْوَیَں کِمَپِ کَرْتُّں نَ شَکْنومِ یَتھا شُنومِ تَتھا وِچارَیامِ مَمَ وِچارَنْچَ نْیایَّح یَتوہَں سْوِییابھِیشْٹَں نیہِتْوا مَتْپْریرَیِتُح پِتُرِشْٹَمْ اِیہے۔
31 "If I testify about myself, my witness is not valid.
یَدِ سْوَسْمِنْ سْوَیَں ساکْشْیَں دَدامِ تَرْہِ تَتْساکْشْیَمْ آگْراہْیَں بھَوَتِ ؛
32 It is another who testifies about me. I know that the testimony which he testifies about me is true.
کِنْتُ مَدَرْتھےپَرو جَنَح ساکْشْیَں دَداتِ مَدَرْتھے تَسْیَ یَتْ ساکْشْیَں تَتْ سَتْیَمْ ایتَدَپْیَہَں جانامِ۔
33 You have sent to John, and he has testified to the truth.
یُشْمابھِ رْیوہَنَں پْرَتِ لوکیشُ پْریرِتیشُ سَ سَتْیَکَتھایاں ساکْشْیَمَدَداتْ۔
34 But the testimony which I receive is not from man. However, I say these things that you may be saved.
مانُشادَہَں ساکْشْیَں نوپیکْشے تَتھاپِ یُویَں یَتھا پَرِتْرَیَدھْوے تَدَرْتھَمْ اِدَں واکْیَں وَدامِ۔
35 He was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light.
یوہَنْ دیدِیپْیَمانو دِیپَ اِوَ تیجَسْوِی سْتھِتَوانْ یُویَمْ اَلْپَکالَں تَسْیَ دِیپْتْیانَنْدِتُں سَمَمَنْیَدھْوَں۔
36 But the testimony which I have is greater than that of John, for the works which the Father gave me to accomplish, the very works that I do, testify about me, that the Father has sent me.
کِنْتُ تَتْپْرَمانادَپِ مَمَ گُرُتَرَں پْرَمانَں وِدْیَتے پِتا ماں پْریشْیَ یَدْیَتْ کَرْمَّ سَماپَیِتُں شَکْتِّمَدَداتْ مَیا کرِتَں تَتَّتْ کَرْمَّ مَدَرْتھے پْرَمانَں دَداتِ۔
37 The Father himself, who sent me, has testified about me. You have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his form.
یَح پِتا ماں پْریرِتَوانْ موپِ مَدَرْتھے پْرَمانَں دَداتِ۔ تَسْیَ واکْیَں یُشْمابھِح کَداپِ نَ شْرُتَں تَسْیَ رُوپَنْچَ نَ درِشْٹَں
38 You do not have his word living in you; because you do not believe him whom he sent.
تَسْیَ واکْیَنْچَ یُشْماکَمْ اَنْتَح کَداپِ سْتھانَں ناپْنوتِ یَتَح سَ یَں پْریشِتَوانْ یُویَں تَسْمِنْ نَ وِشْوَسِتھَ۔
39 You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have everlasting life; and these are they which testify about me. (aiōnios g166)
دھَرْمَّپُسْتَکانِ یُویَمْ آلوچَیَدھْوَں تَے رْواکْیَیرَنَنْتایُح پْراپْسْیامَ اِتِ یُویَں بُدھْیَدھْوے تَدّھَرْمَّپُسْتَکانِ مَدَرْتھے پْرَمانَں دَدَتِ۔ (aiōnios g166)
40 But you are unwilling to come to me so that you may have life.
تَتھاپِ یُویَں پَرَمایُحپْراپْتَیے مَمَ سَںنِدھِمْ نَ جِگَمِشَتھَ۔
41 I do not receive glory from people.
اَہَں مانُشیبھْیَح سَتْکارَں نَ گرِہْلامِ۔
42 But I know you, that you do not have God's love in yourselves.
اَہَں یُشْمانْ جانامِ؛ یُشْماکَمَنْتَرَ اِیشْوَرَپْریمَ ناسْتِ۔
43 I have come in my Father's name, and you do not receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him.
اَہَں نِجَپِتُ رْنامْناگَتوسْمِ تَتھاپِ ماں نَ گرِہْلِیتھَ کِنْتُ کَشْچِدْ یَدِ سْوَنامْنا سَماگَمِشْیَتِ تَرْہِ تَں گْرَہِیشْیَتھَ۔
44 How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?
یُویَمْ اِیشْوَراتْ سَتْکارَں نَ چِشْٹَتْوا کیوَلَں پَرَسْپَرَں سَتْکارَمْ چیدْ آدَدھْوّے تَرْہِ کَتھَں وِشْوَسِتُں شَکْنُتھَ؟
45 "Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you, even Moses, on whom you have set your hope.
پُتُح سَمِیپےہَں یُشْمانْ اَپَوَدِشْیامِیتِ ما چِنْتَیَتَ یَسْمِنْ ، یَسْمِنْ یُشْماکَں وِشْوَسَح سَایوَ مُوسا یُشْمانْ اَپَوَدَتِ۔
46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote about me.
یَدِ یُویَں تَسْمِنْ وْیَشْوَسِشْیَتَ تَرْہِ مَیَّپِ وْیَشْوَسِشْیَتَ، یَتْ سَ مَیِ لِکھِتَوانْ۔
47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?"
تَتو یَدِ تینَ لِکھِتَوانِ نَ پْرَتِتھَ تَرْہِ مَمَ واکْیانِ کَتھَں پْرَتْییشْیَتھَ؟
