< John 10 >
1 "Truly, truly, I tell you, one who does not enter by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
Ikumbya line, nimiwambila, iye mwine yaseti enjile chamulyango wamulaka wembelele, kono utata kwiwulu chenzila imwi, unzo muntu musa mi wiba.
2 But one who enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
Iye winjilila kumulyango nji mulisana wembelele.
3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.
Mubabaleli wamulyango mwamwiyalwile. Imbelele zizuwa inzwi lyakwe, mi usupa imbelele zakwe chamazina ni kuzietelela hazizwa.
4 Whenever he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
Linu heti chazizwisa nzose zakwe, uziyenda kubusu, mi imbelele zimwichilila, mukuti zinzi inzwi lyakwe.
5 They will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him; for they do not know the voice of strangers."
Linu keti nizichilile muyenzi, kono kazimukekuluhe, mokuti kanzinzi inzwi lyamuyenzi.”
6 Jesus spoke this parable to them, but they did not understand what he was telling them.
Jesu abawambi iyi nguli kubali, kono abo kanababazuwisisi kuti izi zintu ibali nji zona zabali kuwamba kubali.
7 Jesus therefore said to them again, "Truly, truly, I tell you, I am the sheep's door.
Linu Jesu chawamba kubali hape, Ikumbya line, Nimi wambila, Njime nimulyango wembelele.
8 All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.
Yese yabezi kumasule angu musa mi wiba, kono imbelele kena zibamuteki.
9 I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out, and will find pasture.
Njime nimulyango. Yese winjila changu, kapuluswe; kenjile mukati ni hanze mi kawane malisikizo.
10 The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
Musa kawoli kwiza heba kezi kwiba kapa kwihaya ni kushinya. Nibakezi kuti benze bawane buhalo mi babu wane cha bungi.
11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
Njime nimulisana weniti. Mulisana weniti uha buhalo bwakwe muchibaka chembelele.
12 He who is a hired hand and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and runs away; and the wolf snatches them and scatters them.
Mubeleki wakuhila kahena mulisana wembelele imi kamunite imbelele. Habona untuhu nakezite usiya imbelele ni kubaleha. Utuhu uwonda imbelele ni kuzihasanya.
13 And the hired hand flees because he is a hired hand and the sheep means nothing to him.
Utiya mukuti mubeleki wakuhila kabileli ni mbelele.
14 I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and my own know me;
Njime ni mulisani weniti, imi nizi zangu, mi zangu zinizi.
15 even as the Father knows me, and I know the Father. I lay down my life for the sheep.
Tayo unizi, imi name nizi Tayo, imi nibahi buhalo bwangu muchibaka che mbelele.
16 I have other sheep, which are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will hear my voice. They will become one flock with one shepherd.
Nina imbelele zimwi zisali nzowo mulaka wembelele. Niyelele kuzileta nazo, imi kazizuwe inzwi lyangu kokuti ibe mutapi wonke ni mulisana yenke.
17 Therefore the Father loves me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again.
Njikeli ibaka Tayo hanisaka: Nisinyehelwa buhalo bwangu kokuti ninibuhinde hape.
18 No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down by myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. I received this commandment from my Father."
Kakwina yowola kubuninyanga, kono nibusinyehelwa changu nimwine. Nina maata akuzwisa, imi nina maata akuhinda hape. Nibawani iyo itaelo kuba Tayo.
19 A division arose again among the Jewish people because of these words.
Kuliyabahakati chikwa tendahala mukati kaMajuda bakeñisa chayo manzwi.
20 Many of them said, "He has a demon, and is insane. Why do you listen to him?"
Bungi bwabo chiba wamba, “Wina i dimona mi umbulumuka. Chinzi hamutekeleza kwali?
21 Others said, "These are not the sayings of one possessed by a demon. It is not possible for a demon to open the eyes of the blind, is it?"
Bamwi chibati, “Aa kahena manzwi amuntu yoyendiswa idimona. Kana idimona liwola kwiyalula menso amuntu yasaboni?”
22 At that time Hanukkah took place in Jerusalem.
Linu chibali inako ya Mukiti wa Kunjoloza mwa Jerusalema.
23 It was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple, in Solomon's porch.
Ibali maliha, mi Jesu abu kuyenda mwi keleke mumalibela a Solomoni.
24 The Jewish leaders therefore came around him and said to him, "How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly."
Linu Majuda chiba muzimbuluka mi chiba wamba kwali, katuhinde inako ikumahi nitu sezibi? Heba njiwe Kirisite, tuwambile he ñandaleza.”
25 Jesus answered them, "I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father's name, these testify about me.
Jesu ababetabi kuti, “Nibamiwambili, kono kamuzumini. Mitendo initenda mwizina lya Tayo, yeyo njiipaka ziniama.
26 But you do not believe, because you are not of my sheep.
Nikwinabulyo inwe ka muzumini mukuti kahena mwimbelele zangu.
27 As I said to you, my sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
Imbelele zangu zizuwa inzwi lyangu; nizizi, imi zinichilila.
28 I give everlasting life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. (aiōn , aiōnios )
Niziha buhalo busamani; kesinizifwe, imi kakwina niumwina yetinazi nzwabule mumayaza angu. (aiōn , aiōnios )
29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.
Tayo, yabazinihi, mukando kuzamba bonse, mi kakwina yowola kubazwabula mumayaza a Tayo.
30 I and the Father are one."
Ime ni Tayo tuchintu chonke.”
31 Therefore the Jewish leaders took up stones again to stone him.
Linu Majuda chi bahinda mavwe nibamu ñabola.
32 Jesus answered them, "I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of those works do you stone me?"
Jesu ababetabi, “Nibamitondezi mitendo mingi milotu izwa kwa Tayo. Linu njo uhi kweyo mitendo umuniñabolela cha mabwe?”
33 The Jewish leaders answered him, "We do not stone you for a good work, but for blasphemy: because you, being a man, make yourself God."
Majuda babamwitabi, “Katuku ñaboleli mutendo mulotu, kono kushwaula, mukuti iwe, umuntu, uli tenda kuti njowe Ireeza.”
34 Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law, 'I said, you are gods?'
Jesu ababetabi, “Kanakuti kuñoletwe mumilao, Ni wamba, “mumizimu”?
35 If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken),
Heba ababa supi kuti bazimu, nji kwani kulibazwi izina lya Ireeza (mi mañolo ka awoli ku lutwa),
36 do you say of him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, 'You blaspheme,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God?'
muwamba konzo yaba bikiwakumbali nji Tayo ni kutumiwa muchisi, 'ushwaula; mukuti na wamba, 'Ni mwana we Ireeza.'
37 If I do not do the works of my Father, do not believe me.
Heba kanitendi mitendo ya Tayo, kanzi muni zumini.
38 But if I do them, though you do not believe me, believe the works; that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father."
Kono heba niitenda, nangakuti kazumini, muzumine mitendo linukuti mwizimbe ni kuzuwisisa ziba Tayo benamwangu imi name ninamuba Tayo.”
39 Now they sought again to seize him, and he went out of their hand.
Babaliki kumuwonda hape, kono abayindi kungi kuzwa mumayanza abo.
40 He went away again beyond the Jordan into the place where John was baptizing at first, and there he stayed.
Chayenda hape mwishila lya Jorodani kuchibaka unko Joani abali kukolobeza, niku kekala kwateni.
41 Many came to him. They said, "John indeed did no sign, but everything that John said about this man is true."
Bungi bwabantu chibeza kwali nikuchokuti, “Cheniti Joani kana abatendi imakazo, kono zintu zonse zaba wambi Joani chozu mukwame ibali zeniti.”
42 And many believed in him there.
Bantu bangi kwateni ni chibazumina kwali.
