James 3
1 Let not many of you be teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive heavier judgment.
N ninjabi, bi tundikaabi n da yabi i siigan nni, ke sieni ke ya bani ke bi te ba bu'ti hali lan ya paa.
2 For in many things we all stumble. If anyone does not stumble in word, this one is a perfect person, able to bridle the whole body also.
Ti kuli maadi tin bua yaali, nilo ya ke maadi yali n tie o pakɔnli, o tie ya nilo n tie niŋanmo, ke gɔ sieni ke cɔnlin nni o gbannandi. (ke cuo oba)
3 Now if we put bits into the horses' mouths so that they may obey us, we guide their whole body.
Ya yognu ke ti taa i baabi ki loli i taam ñɔna po, bi yi cɔln'ti ke tiendi tin bua yaali.
4 And look at the ships also, though they are so big and are driven by fierce winds, are yet guided by a very small rudder, wherever the pilot desires.
Diidi mani o ñinbiagu, wani yeni o yabndi kuli, niyendo ŋmagdo ko caa wan bua naani.
5 So the tongue is also a little member, and boasts great things. See how a small fire can spread to a large forest.
Li tie yeni, ke o nilo lanbu tie bo ñidiga ke nan ke sengi oba kɔnman nni, o mu ñidiga n yi te di ke biani li fuali kuli.
6 And the tongue is a fire. The world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by hell. (Geenna g1067)
O lanbu mɔ tie mu, ya ŋandunli n gbie yeni o yinyɔgu, ke jɔgndi o nusaalo gbannandi, ke biidi ti tajenli yenma, ke wan oba mɔnosieni ke ye a maba nni. (Geenna g1067)
7 For all kinds of animals, and birds, of reptiles and sea creatures, are being tamed and have been tamed by humankind.
I yanbuoli kuli yeni polu po mu nuami kuli, tinga nni bo balinkaana yeni mi ñim nni bonfuoda kuli ye o nilo yikod po.
8 But nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.
Ama nilo kan fidi ke paadi o lanbu, ke li tie ya yianu, ko gbie yeni mi kuuma lɔbdi
9 With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people, who are made in the image of God.
Ti tugdi ti lanbu ke yiini ke dondi u tienu, t gɔa tugdi wani ke maadi ti maabiidi u tienu n tagi yaali ke tieni o ninnangu po.
10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.
Ya ñɔbu n maadi mi maaŋanma yeni, lani n gɔa maadi ti maabiidi. N ninjabi, da ŋaa mani lani n ya tie yeni.
11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water?
Bonga kpeli ke ye ke puubi mi ñu yia maligi ke gɔ puubi ya ñuma milgi ii?
12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Nor is salt water able to produce sweet.
O kankanmu, n ninjabi, ba fidi ke loni luan tɔla ke li ya ki tie kankana i? Li tie yeni ke yañumi kan fidi ke ya maligi nani sicili ñuma yeni?
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.
Ŋmaa i, i siiga nni, gbie yeni mi yanfuoma yeni o nunfanbu i? Wan jiini oba ke wani o tuona nni, ko gbie yeni mi yanfuoma.
14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not boast and do not lie against the truth.
Ama, li ya ke i pia i pala nni ti maalbiidi, da dongi mani iba ke gɔa da pua faama ke sieni ke nua i mɔni.
15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic.
Li yanfuoma ke ñani polu po ka ama i tinga ne po, li tie gbannadi yeni sitaani yaali.
16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.
Kelima naani ke i nanga yeni ti gbannadi buama ye, mi tudima yeni ti bontitiedi biidi buoli mɔ gbie e.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, without hypocrisy.
Polu po yanfuoma n cindi ke mɔni, ke gbie yeni mi buama, dagdi, ke taagi, ke gbie yeni sugli, ke tieni a luaŋanma, ke k pia lugdima ke gɔa tuagi.
18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
Laafiaa luana ñaa yabi n maadi i mɔni kani.
