Isaiah 49

1 Listen, islands, to me; and listen, you peoples, from far: the LORD has called me from the womb; from the body of my mother has he made mention of my name:

ದ್ವೀಪಗಳೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ದೂರದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳೇ, ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ! ನನ್ನ ಜನನದ ಮುಂಚೆಯೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆದರು. ತಾಯಿಯ ಉದರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗಲೇ ನನಗೆ ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟರು.

2 and he has made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand, he has hidden me; and he has made me a polished arrow, in his quiver has he kept me close:

ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯನ್ನು ಹರಿತವಾದ ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ತನ್ನ ಕೈ ನೆರಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರೆಯಾಗಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆತನು ನುಣುಪಾದ ಬಾಣವನ್ನಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸಿ, ತನ್ನ ಬತ್ತಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

3 and he said to me, "You are my servant; Israel, in whom I will be glorified."

ಆತನು ನನಗೆ, “ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು. ನಾನು ಮಹಿಮೆ ಹೊಂದಬೇಕಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀ!” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

4 But I said, "I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity; yet surely the justice due to me is with the LORD, and my reward with my God."

ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು, “ನಾನು ಪಡುವ ಪ್ರಯಾಸವು ವ್ಯರ್ಥ. ನನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯೆಲ್ಲ ಶೂನ್ಯವಾಯಿತು, ನನ್ನ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವೆಲ್ಲ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಯಿತು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು. ಆದರೂ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವು ನನ್ನ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉಂಟು.

5 Now says the LORD who formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, and that Israel be gathered to him; for I am honorable in the eyes of the LORD, and my God has become my strength.

ಈಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಯಾಕೋಬ್ಯರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆತರುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆಯೂ ದೇವರು ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನನ್ನಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸಿದನು. ಆದರೂ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನ್ಯನಾಗಿರುವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ ನನಗೆ ಬಲವು.

6 And he says, "Is it too insignificant a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel? I will also give you as a light to the nations, that you may bring salvation to the farthest part of the earth."

ಆತನೇ ಈಗ ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ಕುಲಗಳನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತಪಡಿಸುವುದೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ಷಿತರಾದವರನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡುವುದೂ ಅಲ್ಪ ಕಾರ್ಯವಲ್ಲವೇ, ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯು ಭೂಲೋಕದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸರ್ವಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೂ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.”

7 Thus says the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to the one who is despised, to those abhorred as a nation, the servant of rulers: "Kings shall see and arise; princes, and they shall worship; because of the LORD who is faithful, even the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you."

ಮನಃಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ತಿರಸ್ಕೃತನಾದವನೂ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯನೂ, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಸೇವಕನಿಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ವಿಮೋಚಕನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ, ನೀನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನನ್ನೂ ಕಂಡು ಅರಸರು ಎದ್ದು ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ಸಹ ಆರಾಧಿಸುವರು.”

8 Thus says the LORD, "In an acceptable time I have answered you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you; and I will preserve you, and give you as a covenant to the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritage:

ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ: “ಪ್ರಸನ್ನತೆಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಸದುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿ, ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಹಾಳಾಗಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ಸೊತ್ತಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಜನರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

9 saying to those who are bound, 'Come out.'; to those who are in darkness, 'Show yourselves.' "They shall feed in the ways, and on all bare heights shall be their pasture.

ನೀನು ಬಂಧಿತರಿಗೆ, ‘ಹೊರಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ,’ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವವರಿಗೆ, ‘ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬಹುದು. “ಅವರು ದಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಯಿಸುವರು. ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳೂ ಕೂಡ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲಾಗಿರುವುವು.

10 They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun strike them: for he who has mercy on them will lead them, even by springs of water he will guide them.

ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಸಿವೆಯಾಗಲಿ, ಬಾಯಾರಿಕೆಯಾಗಲಿ ಇರದು. ಝಳವೂ, ಬಿಸಿಲೂ ಬಡಿಯದು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸುವ ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾ, ನೀರುಕ್ಕುವ ಒರತೆಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತರುವರು.

11 I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.

ನನ್ನ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಮ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ನನ್ನ ರಾಜಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತರಿಸುವೆನು.

12 Look, these shall come from far; and look, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Syene."

ಇವರು ದೂರದಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇವರು ಉತ್ತರದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದಿಂದ ಇವರು ಸೀನಿಮ್ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.”

13 Sing, heavens; and be joyful, earth; and break forth into singing, mountains: for the LORD has comforted his people, and will have compassion on his afflicted.

ಆಕಾಶವೇ, ಹರ್ಷಧ್ವನಿ ಮಾಡು; ಭೂಮಿಯೇ, ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಪಡು! ಪರ್ವತಗಳೇ, ಹರ್ಷಧ್ವನಿಗೈಯಿರಿ! ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಆಧರಿಸಿ, ಶ್ರಮೆಪಟ್ಟ ತನ್ನವರನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸುವನು.

14 But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me."

ಆದರೆ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಎಂಬಾಕೆಯು, “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನಲ್ಲಾ!” ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡಳು.

15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you.

“ತನ್ನ ಗರ್ಭದ ಮಗನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರುಣಿಸದೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ತನ್ನ ಎದೆಹಾಲನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವ ಕೂಸನ್ನು ಮರೆತಾಳೇ? ಹೌದು, ಅವಳು ಮರೆಯಬಹುದು, ಆದರೂ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

16 Look, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.

ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಅಂಗೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಚಿತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಗೋಡೆಗಳು ಸದಾ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣೆದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿವೆ.

17 Your builders hurry; your destroyers and those who devastated you shall depart from you.

ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತ್ವರೆಪಟ್ಟು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿದವರು ನಿನ್ನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗುವರು.

18 Lift up your eyes all around, and see: all these gather themselves together, and come to you. As I live," says the LORD, "you shall surely clothe yourself with them all as with an ornament, and dress yourself with them, like a bride.

ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ನೋಡು. ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ,” ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆಭರಣಗಳಂತೆ ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ ಮತ್ತು ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮದಲಗಿತ್ತಿಯಂತೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ.

19 "For, as for your waste and your desolate places, and your land that has been destroyed, surely now you shall be too small for the inhabitants, and those who swallowed you up shall be far away.

“ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹಾಳಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಏಕಾಂತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳೂ ಕೆಡವಿಬಿದ್ದ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇಶವೂ ಈಗ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಾಗುವುವು. ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿದವರು ದೂರವಾಗುವರು.

20 The children of your bereavement shall yet say in your ears, The place is too small for me; give place to me that I may dwell.

ನಿಮ್ಮ ದುಃಖದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ‘ಸ್ಥಳವು ನನಗೆ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಾಯಿತು. ನಾನು ವಾಸಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಥಳಕೊಡು,’ ಎಂದು ಇನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

21 Then you will say in your heart, 'Who has conceived these for me, since I have been bereaved of my children, and am solitary, an exile, and wandering back and forth? Who has brought up these? Look, I was left alone; these, where were they?'"

‘ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಇವರನ್ನು ಯಾರು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಡೆದರು? ನಾನು ದುಃಖಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಬಂಜೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದೆ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಗಡಿಪಾರು ಮಾಡಿ ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದವರು ಯಾರು? ನಾನು ಒಬ್ಬಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಉಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಇವರನ್ನು ಸಾಕಿದವರು ಯಾರು? ಅವರೆಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು?’” ಎಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ.

22 Thus says the LORD, "Look, I will lift up my hand to the nations, and set up my banner to the peoples; and they shall bring your sons in their bosom, and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders.

ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು, ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ, “ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕೈಯೆತ್ತಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಧ್ವಜವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತುವೆನು. ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರರನ್ನು ಕೈಹಿಡಿದು ತರುವರು. ನಿನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರಿಯರನ್ನು ಹೆಗಲ ಮೇಲೆ ತರುವರು.

23 Kings shall be your nursing fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers: they shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth, and lick the dust of your feet; and you shall know that I am the LORD; and those who wait for me shall not be disappointed."

ಅರಸರು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಾಕು ತಂದೆಗಳು. ಅವರ ರಾಣಿಯರು ನಿನಗೆ ದಾದಿಗಳಾಗುವರು. ಅವರು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಬಾಗಿಸಿ, ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು, ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾದದ ಧೂಳನ್ನು ನೆಕ್ಕುವರು. ಆಗ ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವವರು ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೆ ಈಡಾಗರು.”

24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the captives of a tyrant be delivered?

ಶೂರನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದೋ? ಭಯಂಕರನಿಂದ ಸೆರೆಯವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಬಹುದೋ?

25 But thus says the LORD, "Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the tyrant shall be delivered; for I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children.

ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ: “ಶೂರನ ಸೆರೆಯವರು ಅಪಹರಿಸಲಾಗುವರು. ಭೀಕರನ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ ಕಸಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿನ್ನೊಡನೆ ಹೋರಾಡುವವನ ಸಂಗಡ ನಾನೇ ಹೋರಾಡಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವೆನು.

26 I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh; and they shall be drunk with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I, the LORD, am your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."

ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿಂಸಕರು ಸ್ವಮಾಂಸವನ್ನೇ ಭುಜಿಸುವಂತೆ ಅನುಮತಿಸುವೆನು. ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವಂತೆ ಅವರು ಸ್ವರಕ್ತವನ್ನೇ ಕುಡಿದು ಅಮಲೇರುವರು. ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನಾದ ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಕನೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಮೋಚಕನೂ, ಯಾಕೋಬ್ಯರ ಶೂರನೂ ಎಂದು ನರಮಾನವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವುದು.”
