< Hebrews 2 >

1 Therefore we ought to pay greater attention to the things that were heard, so that we will not drift away.
Hatdawkvah, maimanaw teh thai awh e kamthang lawk hah pahnim hoeh nahanlah lungthin dawk hoe panue han ngainae tawn awh sei.
2 For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense;
Kalvantaminaw hno lahoi a dei e lawk teh acak teh, payon kâtapoenae hoi lawkngaihoehnae pueng dawkvah ka kamcu e rektapnae khang a boipawiteh,
3 how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation—which at the first having been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard;
Hettelah totouh, kalen e rungngangnae heh banglahai noutna awh hoeh pawiteh, bangtelamaw yon phu khangnae dawk hoi hlout thai awh han vaw. Hote lawk teh apuengcue vah Bawipa ni a pâpho teh, ka thai e naw ni a kamsoum ati awh teh maimouh koe patuen a dei awh.
4 God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders, by various works of power, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will?
Cathut niyah mitnoutnaw, kângairuhnonaw a cawngca a sak e lahoi thoseh, kângairu hnosakthainae hoi thoseh, ama ngainae patetlah Kathoung Muitha ni poehnonaw na poe e lahoi thoseh, ahnimouh hoi cungtalah a kampangkhai.
5 For he did not subject the world to come, of which we speak, to angels.
Maimouh ni dei awh e ka tho hane talaivan uknae kâ teh Cathut ni kalvantaminaw e kut rahim hrueng hoeh.
6 But one has somewhere testified, saying, "What is man, that you think of him? Or the son of man, that you care for him?
Cakathoung hmuen buet touh dawk, tami heh bangtelah ao dawk maw Bawipa nang ni khuet na pouk. Tami Capa heh bangtelah ao dawk maw khuet na khet.
7 You made him a little lower than the angels. You crowned him with glory and honor.
Ahni teh kalvantaminaw hlakvah dawngdengca bet a rahnoum sak teh, bawilennae hoi barinae lahoi bawilukhung a kâmuk sak, na kutsaknaw hah na uk sak teh,
8 You have put all things under his feet." For in that he put all things under him, he left nothing that is not under him. But now we do not yet see that all things are under him.
hno cawngca pueng hah ahnie khok rahim vah a ta toe ati. Hno cawngca pueng hah ahnie khok rahim vah koung a ta toe ti navah, a pek e buet touh hai awmhoeh. Atu hno cawngca pueng hah rahim vah koung a ta e hah maimouh ni hmawt awh hoeh rah.
9 But we see him who has been made a little lower than the angels, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for everyone.
Hatei, Cathut e lungmanae lahoi, Jisuh teh tami pueng hanlah duenae khang hanelah, kalvantaminaw hlak dawngdengca bet a rahnoum sak teh, a due dawkvah, a lû dawk bawilennae hoi barinae bawilukhung a kâmuk e hah maimouh ni hmu awh.
10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Bangkongtetpawiteh, hnocawngca pueng e akungtuen lah kaawm e Cathut ni, ca moikapap hah bawilennae thung a hrawi navah, ahnimae rungngangnae kasakkung Bawipa teh reithainae hoi akuep sak e hah a kamcu doeh.
11 For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one, for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brothers,
Kathoungsakkung hoi a thoungsak e taminaw pueng teh buet touh koehoi doeh a coung. Hatdawkvah, kathoungsakkung ni a thoungsak e naw hah hmaunawngha telah kaw hane kayakkhai hoeh.

13 And again, "I will put my trust in him." And again, "Look, I and the children whom God has given me."
Hahoi, Bawipa nang teh na yuem han. Hahoi, thai awh haw, kai hoi kai koe Cathut ni na poe e camonaw doeh, telah bout a ti.
14 Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,
Hote camonaw teh takthai hoi thi ka tawn e lah ao dawkvah, Khrih ni a duenae pawlawk dawk hoi, duenae ka uk e kahraimathout e bahu hah a raphoe thai nahanlah thoseh,
15 and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
duenae ka taket niteh, a hring nathung sankatoungnaw hah hloutsak hanelah thoseh, hote camonaw patetvanlah takthai hoi thi a sin van.
16 For, truly, he did not come to help the angels, but to help the offspring of Abraham.
Bangkongtetpawiteh, Khrih ni kalvantaminaw hah kabawm hoeh, Abraham e catounnaw hah a kabawp.
17 Therefore he was obligated in all things to be made like his brothers, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.
Hatdawkvah Khrih ni taminaw e yonthanae hah a sak teh, Cathut hoi kâkuen e dawkvah, lungmanae hoi thoseh, lawkkamcaknae hoi thoseh, yuemkamcu e Vaihma Kacue lah ao nahan, amae hmaunawnghanaw hoi khoeroe kâvan e lah ao.
18 For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.
Hottelah, ama roeroe tacueknae a khang dawkvah, yon tacueknae kakâhmonaw hah a kabawp thai.
