Genesis 30
1 When Rachel saw that she was not bearing Jacob any children, Rachel envied her sister. She said to Jacob, "Give me children, or else I will die."
ರಾಹೇಲಳು ತಾನು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹೆರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದಾಗ, ಆಕೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಕಿಚ್ಚು ಪಟ್ಟು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ, “ನನಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡು, ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ನಾನು ಸಾಯುತ್ತೇನೆ,” ಎಂದಳು.
2 Then Jacob became very angry with Rachel, and he said, "Am I in God's place, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?"
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ರಾಹೇಲಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, “ನಿನಗೆ ಗರ್ಭ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವ ದೇವರ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನಿದ್ದೇನೋ?” ಎಂದನು.
3 She said, "Look, my servant Bilhah. Sleep with her, so that she will bear children for me, that I too may have children through her."
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಕೆಯು, “ನನ್ನ ದಾಸಿ ಬಿಲ್ಹಳು ಇದ್ದಾಳೆ, ಅವಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗು, ಅವಳು ಹೆತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಮಡಿಲಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡಲಿ. ಅವಳಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾಗುವರು,” ಎಂದಳು.
4 So she gave him Bilhah her servant as a wife, and Jacob slept with her.
ಹೀಗೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ದಾಸಿ ಬಿಲ್ಹಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಳು. ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದನು.
5 Bilhah conceived, and bore Jacob a son.
ಬಿಲ್ಹಳು ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾಗಿ, ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು.
6 Rachel said, "God has judged me, and has also heard my voice, and has given me a son." Therefore she called his name Dan.
ರಾಹೇಲಳು, “ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ನನಗೆ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಳು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ ದಾನ್ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟಳು.
7 Bilhah, Rachel's handmaid, conceived again, and bore Jacob a second son.
ರಾಹೇಲಳ ದಾಸಿ ಬಿಲ್ಹಳು ಮತ್ತೆ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾಗಿ, ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು.
8 Rachel said, "I have wrestled mightily with my sister, and have prevailed." So she named him Naphtali.
ಆಗ ರಾಹೇಲಳು, “ಅಧಿಕವಾದ ಹೋರಾಟಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋರಾಡಿ ಜಯಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಫ್ತಾಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟಳು.
9 When Leah saw that she had stopped bearing, she took Zilpah, her servant, and gave her to Jacob as a wife.
ಲೇಯಳು ತಾನು ಹೆರುವುದು ನಿಂತಿತೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು, ತನ್ನ ದಾಸಿ ಜಿಲ್ಪಳನ್ನು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಳು.
10 Zilpah, Leah's handmaid, bore Jacob a son.
ಲೇಯಳ ದಾಸಿ ಜಿಲ್ಪಳು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು.
11 Leah said, "How fortunate." So she named him Gad.
ಆಗ ಲೇಯಳು, “ಎಂಥಾ ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಗಾದ್ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟಳು.
12 Zilpah, Leah's servant, bore Jacob a second son.
ಲೇಯಳ ದಾಸಿ ಜಿಲ್ಪಳು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು.
13 Leah said, "Happy am I, for the women will call me happy." So she named him Asher.
ಆಗ ಲೇಯಳು, “ನಾನು ಧನ್ಯಳಾದೆನು, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಧನ್ಯಳೆಂದು ಕರೆಯುವರು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಆಶೇರ್ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟಳು.
14 Reuben went out during the wheat harvest and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them to his mother, Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, "Please give me some of your son's mandrakes."
ರೂಬೇನನು ಗೋಧಿ ಕೊಯ್ಯುವ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗಿ, ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದುದಾಯಿ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ತಾಯಿ ಲೇಯಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕೆಲವು ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದಾಗ, ರಾಹೇಲಳು ಲೇಯಳಿಗೆ, “ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನು ತಂದ ಫಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡು,” ಎಂದಳು.
15 She said to her, "Is it a small matter that you have taken away my husband? Would you take away my son's mandrakes, also?" Rachel said, "Therefore he may sleep with you tonight for your son's mandrakes."
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಕೆಯು, “ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಗಂಡನನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡದ್ದು ಅಲ್ಪಕಾರ್ಯವೋ? ನೀನು ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನು ತಂದ ದುದಾಯ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿಯೋ?” ಎಂದಳು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಹೇಲಳು, “ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನು ತಂದ ದುದಾಯ ಫಲಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಈ ರಾತ್ರಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗಲಿ,” ಎಂದಳು.
16 Jacob came from the field in the evening, and Leah went out to meet him, and said, "You must sleep with me; for I have surely hired you with my son's mandrakes." So he slept with her that night.
ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಲದಿಂದ ಬಂದಾಗ, ಲೇಯಳು ಅವನೆದುರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ, “ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕು. ನನ್ನ ಮಗನು ತಂದ ದುದಾಯಿ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದಳು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗಿದನು.
17 God listened to Leah, and she conceived, and bore Jacob a fifth son.
ಆಗ ದೇವರು ಲೇಯಳ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಆಕೆಯು ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾಗಿ ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಐದನೆಯ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು.
18 Leah said, "God has given me my wages, because I gave my servant to my husband." So she named him Issachar.
ಲೇಯಳು, “ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಗಂಡನಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರ್ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟಳು.
19 Leah conceived again, and bore a sixth son to Jacob.
ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಸಾರಿ ಲೇಯಳು ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾಗಿ ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಆರನೆಯ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು,
20 Leah said, "God has given me a good gift. Now my husband will live with me, because I have borne him six sons." So she named him Zebulun.
ಲೇಯಳು, “ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ವರದಾನವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈಗ ನಾನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಆರು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತದ್ದರಿಂದ, ನನ್ನ ಗಂಡನು ಈಗಲಾದರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುವನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಜೆಬುಲೂನ್ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟಳು.
21 Afterwards, she bore a daughter, and named her Dinah.
ತರುವಾಯ ಆಕೆಯು ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತು, ಆಕೆಗೆ ದೀನಾ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟಳು.
22 God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her, and made her fertile.
ಆಗ ದೇವರು ರಾಹೇಲಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ದೇವರು ಆಕೆಯ ಮೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ಆಕೆಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾಗುವಂತೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಮಾಡಿದರು.
23 She conceived, bore a son, and said, "God has taken away my shame."
ಆಕೆಯು ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತು, “ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ನಿಂದೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ,” ಎಂದಳು.
24 So she named him Joseph, saying, "May God add another son to me."
ಆಕೆಯು, “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ಮಗನನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸುವರು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯೋಸೇಫ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟಳು.
25 It happened, when Rachel had borne Joseph, that Jacob said to Laban, "Send me away, that I may go to my own place, and to my country.
ರಾಹೇಲಳು ಯೋಸೇಫನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಾಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಲಾಬಾನನಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ವದೇಶಕ್ಕೂ ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡು.
26 Give me my wives and my children for whom I have served you, and let me go; for you know the service I have given you."
ನಾನು ಯಾರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಿನಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆನೋ, ಆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನೂ, ನನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡು. ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ನೀನು ಬಲ್ಲವನಾಗಿದ್ದೀಯೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
27 Laban said to him, "If now I have found favor in your eyes, stay here, for I have learned by divination that God has blessed me for your sake."
ಲಾಬಾನನು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಯೆ ಹೊಂದಿದವನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ನಾನು ಭವಿಷ್ಯಜ್ಞಾನ ಅನುಭವದಿಂದ ಕಲಿತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
28 He said, "Name your wages, and I will pay it."
ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಬಳವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸು. ಅದನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು,” ಎಂದನು.
29 He said to him, "You know how I have served you, and how well your livestock have done with me.
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪಶುಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಆಗಿವೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ಬಲ್ಲೆ.
30 For you had little before I came, and it has increased abundantly. And God has blessed you wherever I worked. Now when will I also provide for my own household?"
ನಾನು ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ನಿನಗಿದ್ದದ್ದು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವೇ. ಈಗ ಅದು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದೆ. ನಾನು ಬಂದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈಗ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮನೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯಾವಾಗ ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಲಿ?” ಎಂದನು.
31 He said, "What should I give you?" Jacob said, "You do not need to give me anything. If you will do this one thing for me, I will again pasture your flock and take care of it.
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಲಾಬಾನನು, “ನಿನಗೆ ನಾನು ಏನು ಕೊಡಲಿ?” ಎಂದನು. ಯಾಕೋಬನು, “ಏನೂ ಕೊಡಬೇಡ, ಒಂದು ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡರೆ, ನಾನು ಮತ್ತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸಿ ಕಾಯುವೆನು.
32 I will pass through all your flock today, removing from there every speckled and spotted one, and every black one among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats. This will be my wages.
ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಂದೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುವೆನು. ಕುರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂದುಬಣ್ಣದವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ, ಮೇಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚುಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಚ್ಚೆ ಉಳ್ಳವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬೇರೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಅವೇ ನನ್ನ ಕೂಲಿಯಾಗಿರಲಿ.
33 So my honesty will testify for me later on, when the subject of my wages comes before you. Every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and black among the sheep that I have in my possession, will be counted as stolen."
ಹೀಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಬರುವ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಬಳಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದಾಗ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕತೆಯೇ ನನಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಡುವುದು. ಮೇಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚುಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಚ್ಚೆ ಕುರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂದು ಬಣ್ಣವಿಲ್ಲದವುಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೆ, ಅವು ಕದ್ದವುಗಳು ಎಂದು ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರಲಿ,” ಎಂದನು.
34 Laban said, "Look, let it be as you have said."
ಲಾಬಾನನು, “ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಆಗಲಿ,” ಎಂದನು.
35 That day, he removed the male goats that were streaked and spotted, and all the female goats that were speckled and spotted, every one that had white in it, and all the black ones among the sheep, and put them in the care of his sons.
ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಾಬಾನನು ಹೋತಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರೇಖೆ, ಮಚ್ಚೆ ಇದ್ದವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಬಿಳುಪಾದ ಬಣ್ಣವಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಕುರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂದು ಬಣ್ಣವಿದ್ದವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಿಂಗಡಿಸಿ, ತನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರರ ಕೈಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
36 He set three days' journey between himself and Jacob, and Jacob pastured the rest of Laban's flocks.
ತನಗೂ, ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದಷ್ಟು ಅಂತರವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಲಾಬಾನನ ಮಿಕ್ಕ ಮಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸಿದನು.
37 Jacob took fresh branches from poplar, almond and plane trees and made white streaks by peeling them, exposing white stripes on the branches.
ಹೀಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಲಿಬ್ನೆ, ಲೂಜು, ಅರ್ಮೋನ್ ಎಂಬ ಮರಗಳ ಹಸಿ ಕೋಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಪಟ್ಟೆಪಟ್ಟೆಯಾಗಿ ತೊಗಟೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಲಿದು, ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಿಳಿಯ ಬಣ್ಣವು ಕಾಣಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
38 He set up the peeled branches which he had peeled opposite the flocks in the troughs, that is, the watering places where the flocks came to drink. And since they bred when they came to drink,
ಮಂದೆಗಳು ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ, ಅವು ಗರ್ಭಧರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಯುವ ದೋಣಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನು ತೊಗಟೆ ಸುಲಿದ ಕೋಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟನು.
39 the flocks bred in front of the branches, and the flocks brought bore streaked, speckled, and spotted.
ಮಂದೆಗಳು ಆ ಕೋಲುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, ಸಂಗಮ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಚುಕ್ಕೆ ಮಚ್ಚೆ ರೇಖೆಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಈಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.
40 Jacob separated the lambs, and made the flocks face toward the streaked and all the black in the flock of Laban. So he kept his own flocks separate, and did not put them into Laban's flock.
ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬೇರೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಲಾಬಾನನ ಮಂದೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರೇಖೆಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಆಡುಕುರಿಗಳೆದುರಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಂದು ಬಣ್ಣ ಉಳ್ಳವುಗಳೆದುರಾಗಿಯೂ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಮಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಲಾಬಾನನ ಮಂದೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸದೆ, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೇರೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡನು.
41 It happened, whenever the stronger of the flock were breeding, that Jacob would set up the branches in front of the flock in the troughs, so that they would breed near the branches;
ಬಲವಾದ ಕುರಿಗಳು ಸಂಗಮ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಆ ಕುರಿಗಳು ಕೋಲುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಗರ್ಭಧರಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕೋಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿಗಳ ಕಣ್ಣೆದುರಾಗಿ ದೋಣಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
42 but for the weaker of the flock, he did not put them there. So the weaker would be Laban's, and the stronger Jacob's.
ಆದರೆ ಕುರಿಗಳು ಬಲಹೀನವಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಅವನು ಕೋಲುಗಳನ್ನು ದೋಣಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಬಲಹೀನವಾದವುಗಳು ಲಾಬಾನನಿಗೂ, ಬಲವಾದವುಗಳು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೂ ಆದವು.
43 Thus the man became very rich, and had large flocks, female servants and male servants, and camels and donkeys.
ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಬಹು ಕುರಿಗಳೂ ದಾಸದಾಸಿಯರೂ ಒಂಟೆಗಳೂ ಕತ್ತೆಗಳೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ದೊರೆತವು.
