< Acts 2 >

1 Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place.
اَپَرَنْچَ نِسْتاروتْسَواتْ پَرَں پَنْچاشَتَّمے دِنے سَمُپَسْتھِتے سَتِ تے سَرْوّے ایکاچِتِّیبھُویَ سْتھانَ ایکَسْمِنْ مِلِتا آسَنْ۔
2 Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
ایتَسْمِنّیوَ سَمَیےکَسْمادْ آکاشاتْ پْرَچَنْڈاتْیُگْرَوایوح شَبْدَوَدْ ایکَح شَبْدَ آگَتْیَ یَسْمِنْ گرِہے تَ اُپاوِشَنْ تَدْ گرِہَں سَمَسْتَں وْیاپْنوتْ۔
3 Tongues like fire appeared and were distributed to them, and one sat on each of them.
تَتَح پَرَں وَہْنِشِکھاسْوَرُوپا جِہْواح پْرَتْیَکْشِیبھُویَ وِبھَکْتاح سَتْیَح پْرَتِجَنورْدّھوے سْتھَگِتا اَبھُووَنْ۔
4 They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit enabled them to speak out.
تَسْماتْ سَرْوّے پَوِتْریناتْمَنا پَرِپُورْناح سَنْتَ آتْما یَتھا واچِتَوانْ تَدَنُسارینانْیَدیشِییاناں بھاشا اُکْتَوَنْتَح۔
5 Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout people from every nation under the sky.
تَسْمِنْ سَمَیے پرِتھِوِیسْتھَسَرْوَّدیشیبھْیو یِہُودِییَمَتاوَلَمْبِنو بھَکْتَلوکا یِرُوشالَمِ پْراوَسَنْ؛
6 When this sound was heard, the crowd came together, and were bewildered, because everyone heard them speaking in his own language.
تَسْیاح کَتھایاح کِںوَدَنْتْیا جاتَتْواتْ سَرْوّے لوکا مِلِتْوا نِجَنِجَبھاشَیا شِشْیاناں کَتھاکَتھَنَں شْرُتْوا سَمُدْوِگْنا اَبھَوَنْ۔
7 They were all amazed and marveled, saying, "Look, are not all these who speak Galileans?
سَرْوَّایوَ وِسْمَیاپَنّا آشْچَرْیّانْوِتاشْچَ سَنْتَح پَرَسْپَرَں اُکْتَوَنْتَح پَشْیَتَ یے کَتھاں کَتھَیَنْتِ تے سَرْوّے گالِیلِییَلوکاح کِں نَ بھَوَنْتِ؟
8 How do we hear, everyone in our own native language?
تَرْہِ وَیَں پْرَتْییکَشَح سْوَسْوَجَنْمَدیشِییَبھاشابھِح کَتھا ایتیشاں شرِنُمَح کِمِدَں؟
9 Parthians, Medes, Elamites, and people from Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, Asia,
پارْتھِی-مادِی-اَرامْنَہَرَیِمْدیشَنِواسِمَنو یِہُودا-کَپَّدَکِیا-پَنْتَ-آشِیا-
10 Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, the parts of Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes,
پھْرُگِیا-پَمْپھُلِیا-مِسَرَنِواسِنَح کُرِینِینِکَٹَوَرْتِّلُوبِییَپْرَدیشَنِواسِنو رومَنَگَرادْ آگَتا یِہُودِییَلوکا یِہُودِییَمَتَگْراہِنَح کْرِیتِییا اَرابِییادَیو لوکاشْچَ یے وَیَمْ
11 Cretans and Arabians: we hear them speaking in our tongues the mighty works of God."
اَسْماکَں نِجَنِجَبھاشابھِریتیشامْ اِیشْوَرِییَمَہاکَرْمَّوْیاکھْیانَں شرِنُمَح۔
12 They were all amazed, and were perplexed, saying one to another, "What does this mean?"
اِتّھَں تے سَرْوَّایوَ وِسْمَیاپَنّاح سَنْدِگْدھَچِتّاح سَنْتَح پَرَسْپَرَمُوچُح، اَسْیَ کو بھاوَح؟
13 Others, mocking, said, "They are filled with new wine."
اَپَرے کیچِتْ پَرِہَسْیَ کَتھِتَوَنْتَ ایتے نَوِینَدْراکْشارَسینَ مَتّا اَبھَوَنْ۔
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and spoke out to them, "You men of Judea, and all you who live in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen to my words.
تَدا پِتَرَ ایکادَشَبھِ رْجَنَیح ساکَں تِشْٹھَنْ تالّوکانْ اُچَّیحکارَمْ اَوَدَتْ، ہے یِہُودِییا ہے یِرُوشالَمْنِواسِنَح سَرْوّے، اَوَدھانَں کرِتْوا مَدِییَواکْیَں بُدھْیَدھْوَں۔
15 For these are not drunk, as you suppose, seeing it is only nine in the morning.
اِدانِیمْ ایکَیامادْ اَدھِکا ویلا ناسْتِ تَسْمادْ یُویَں یَدْ اَنُماتھَ مانَوا اِمے مَدْیَپانینَ مَتّاسْتَنَّ۔
16 But this is what has been spoken through the prophet Joel:
کِنْتُ یوییلْبھَوِشْیَدْوَکْتْرَیتَدْواکْیَمُکْتَں یَتھا،
17 'And it will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters will prophesy, and your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.
اِیشْوَرَح کَتھَیاماسَ یُگانْتَسَمَیے تْوَہَمْ۔ وَرْشِشْیامِ سْوَماتْمانَں سَرْوَّپْرانْیُپَرِ دھْرُوَمْ۔ بھاوِواکْیَں وَدِشْیَنْتِ کَنْیاح پُتْراشْچَ وَسْتُتَح۔ پْرَتْیادیشَنْچَ پْراپْسْیَنْتِ یُشْماکَں یُوَمانَواح۔ تَتھا پْراچِینَلوکاسْتُ سْوَپْنانْ دْرَکْشْیَنْتِ نِشْچِتَں۔
18 And even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.
وَرْشِشْیامِ تَداتْمانَں داسَداسِیجَنوپِرِ۔ تینَیوَ بھاوِواکْیَں تے وَدِشْیَنْتِ ہِ سَرْوَّشَح۔
19 And I will show wonders in the sky above, and signs on the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and billows of smoke.
اُورْدّھوَسْتھے گَگَنے چَیوَ نِیچَسْتھے پرِتھِوِیتَلے۔ شونِتانِ برِہَدْبھانُونْ گھَنَدھُومادِکانِ چَ۔ چِہْنانِ دَرْشَیِشْیامِ مَہاشْچَرْیَّکْرِیاسْتَتھا۔
20 The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes.
مَہابھَیانَکَسْیَیوَ تَدِّنَسْیَ پَریشِتُح۔ پُراگَمادْ رَوِح کرِشْنو رَکْتَشْچَنْدْرو بھَوِشْیَتَح۔
21 And it will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'
کِنْتُ یَح پَرَمیشَسْیَ نامْنِ سَمْپْرارْتھَیِشْیَتے۔ سَایوَ مَنُجو نُونَں پَرِتْراتو بھَوِشْیَتِ۔۔
22 "Men of Israel, hear these words. Jesus the Nazorean, a man approved by God to you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him in the midst of you, even as you yourselves know,
اَتو ہے اِسْراییلْوَںشِییَلوکاح سَرْوّے کَتھایامیتَسْیامْ مَنو نِدھَدّھوَں ناسَرَتِییو یِیشُرِیشْوَرَسْیَ مَنونِیتَح پُمانْ ایتَدْ اِیشْوَرَسْتَتْکرِتَیراشْچَرْیّادْبھُتَکَرْمَّبھِ رْلَکْشَنَیشْچَ یُشْماکَں ساکْشادیوَ پْرَتِپادِتَوانْ اِتِ یُویَں جانِیتھَ۔
23 him, being delivered up by the determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, by the hand of lawless men, crucified and killed;
تَسْمِنْ یِیشَو اِیشْوَرَسْیَ پُورْوَّنِشْچِتَمَنْتْرَنانِرُوپَنانُسارینَ مرِتْیَو سَمَرْپِتے سَتِ یُویَں تَں دھرِتْوا دُشْٹَلوکاناں ہَسْتَیح کْرُشے وِدھِتْواہَتَ۔
24 whom God raised up, having freed him from the pains of death, because it was not possible that he should be held by it.
کِنْتْوِیشْوَرَسْتَں نِدھَنَسْیَ بَنْدھَنانْموچَیِتْوا اُدَسْتھاپَیَتْ یَتَح سَ مرِتْیُنا بَدّھَسْتِشْٹھَتِیتِ نَ سَمْبھَوَتِ۔
25 For David says concerning him, 'I saw the Lord always before me, for he is at my right hand, that I should not be shaken.
ایتَسْتِنْ دایُودَپِ کَتھِتَوانْ یَتھا، سَرْوَّدا مَمَ ساکْشاتَّں سْتھاپَیَ پَرَمیشْوَرَں۔ سْتھِتے مَدَّکْشِنے تَسْمِنْ سْکھَلِشْیامِ تْوَہَں نَہِ۔
26 Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced, and moreover my flesh also will dwell in hope;
آنَنْدِشْیَتِ تَدّھیتو رْمامَکِینَں مَنَسْتُ وَے۔ آہْلادِشْیَتِ جِہْواپِ مَدِییا تُ تَتھَیوَ چَ۔ پْرَتْیاشَیا شَرِیرَنْتُ مَدِییَں وَیشَیِشْیَتے۔
27 because you will not abandon my soul in Sheol, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay. (Hadēs g86)
پَرَلوکے یَتو ہیتوسْتْوَں ماں نَیوَ ہِ تْیَکْشْیَسِ۔ سْوَکِییَں پُنْیَوَنْتَں تْوَں کْشَیِتُں نَیوَ داسْیَسِ۔ ایوَں جِیوَنَمارْگَں تْوَں مامیوَ دَرْشَیِشْیَسِ۔ (Hadēs g86)
28 You made known to me the paths of life. You will make me full of joy in your presence.'
سْوَسَمُّکھے یَ آنَنْدو دَکْشِنے سْوَسْیَ یَتْ سُکھَں۔ اَنَنْتَں تینَ ماں پُورْنَں کَرِشْیَسِ نَ سَںشَیَح۔۔
29 "Brothers, I may tell you freely of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.
ہے بھْراتَروسْماکَں تَسْیَ پُورْوَّپُرُشَسْیَ دایُودَح کَتھاں سْپَشْٹَں کَتھَیِتُں مامْ اَنُمَنْیَدھْوَں، سَ پْرانانْ تْیَکْتْوا شْمَشانے سْتھاپِتوبھَوَدْ اَدْیاپِ تَتْ شْمَشانَمْ اَسْماکَں سَنِّدھَو وِدْیَتے۔
30 Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that one of his descendants would sit on his throne,
پھَلَتو لَوکِکَبھاوینَ دایُودو وَںشے کھْرِیشْٹَں جَنْمَ گْراہَیِتْوا تَسْیَیوَ سِںہاسَنے سَمُویشْٹُں تَمُتّھاپَیِشْیَتِ پَرَمیشْوَرَح شَپَتھَں کُتْوا دایُودَح سَمِیپَ اِمَمْ اَنْگِیکارَں کرِتَوانْ،
31 he foreseeing this spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was he left in Sheol, nor did his flesh see decay. (Hadēs g86)
اِتِ جْناتْوا دایُودْ بھَوِشْیَدْوادِی سَنْ بھَوِشْیَتْکالِییَجْنانینَ کھْرِیشْٹوتّھانے کَتھامِماں کَتھَیاماسَ یَتھا تَسْیاتْما پَرَلوکے نَ تْیَکْشْیَتے تَسْیَ شَرِیرَنْچَ نَ کْشیشْیَتِ؛ (Hadēs g86)
32 This Jesus God raised up, to which we all are witnesses.
اَتَح پَرَمیشْوَرَ اینَں یِیشُں شْمَشانادْ اُدَسْتھاپَیَتْ تَتْرَ وَیَں سَرْوّے ساکْشِنَ آسْمَہے۔
33 Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this, which you see and hear.
سَ اِیشْوَرَسْیَ دَکْشِنَکَرینونَّتِں پْراپْیَ پَوِتْرَ آتْمِنَ پِتا یَمَنْگِیکارَں کرِتَوانْ تَسْیَ پھَلَں پْراپْیَ یَتْ پَشْیَتھَ شرِنُتھَ چَ تَدَوَرْشَتْ۔
34 For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself, 'The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit by my right hand,
یَتو دایُودْ سْوَرْگَں نارُروہَ کِنْتُ سْوَیَمْ اِماں کَتھامْ اَکَتھَیَدْ یَتھا، مَمَ پْرَبھُمِدَں واکْیَمَوَدَتْ پَرَمیشْوَرَح۔
35 until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet."'
تَوَ شَتْرُونَہَں یاوَتْ پادَپِیٹھَں کَرومِ نَ۔ تاوَتْ کالَں مَدِییے تْوَں دَکْشَوارْشْوَ اُپاوِشَ۔
36 "Let all the house of Israel therefore know certainly that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified."
اَتو یَں یِیشُں یُویَں کْرُشےہَتَ پَرَمیشْوَرَسْتَں پْرَبھُتْوابھِشِکْتَتْوَپَدے نْیَیُںکْتیتِ اِسْراییلِییا لوکا نِشْچِتَں جانَنْتُ۔
37 Now when they heard this, they were acutely distressed, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Brothers, what should we do?"
ایتادرِشِیں کَتھاں شْرُتْوا تیشاں ہرِدَیاناں وِدِیرْنَتْواتْ تے پِتَرایَ تَدَنْیَپْریرِتیبھْیَشْچَ کَتھِتَوَنْتَح، ہے بھْراترِگَنَ وَیَں کِں کَرِشْیامَح؟
38 Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
تَتَح پِتَرَح پْرَتْیَوَدَدْ یُویَں سَرْوّے سْوَں سْوَں مَنَح پَرِوَرْتَّیَدھْوَں تَتھا پاپَموچَنارْتھَں یِیشُکھْرِیشْٹَسْیَ نامْنا مَجِّتاشْچَ بھَوَتَ، تَسْمادْ دانَرُوپَں پَرِتْرَمْ آتْمانَں لَپْسْیَتھَ۔
39 For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself."
یَتو یُشْماکَں یُشْمَتْسَنْتانانانْچَ دُورَسْتھَسَرْوَّلوکانانْچَ نِمِتَّمْ اَرْتھادْ اَسْماکَں پْرَبھُح پَرَمیشْوَرو یاوَتو لاکانْ آہْواسْیَتِ تیشاں سَرْوّیشاں نِمِتَّمْ اَیَمَنْگِیکارَ آسْتے۔
40 With many other words he testified, and exhorted them, saying, "Save yourselves from this crooked generation."
ایتَدَنْیابھِ رْبَہُکَتھابھِح پْرَمانَں دَتْواکَتھَیَتْ ایتیبھْیو وِپَتھَگامِبھْیو وَرْتَّمانَلوکیبھْیَح سْوانْ رَکْشَتَ۔
41 Then those who received his word were baptized. There were added that day about three thousand souls.
تَتَح پَرَں یے سانَنْداسْتاں کَتھامْ اَگرِہْلَنْ تے مَجِّتا اَبھَوَنْ۔ تَسْمِنْ دِوَسے پْرایینَ تْرِینِ سَہَسْرانِ لوکاسْتیشاں سَپَکْشاح سَنْتَح
42 They continued steadfastly in the apostles' teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer.
پْریرِتانامْ اُپَدیشے سَنْگَتَو پُوپَبھَنْجَنے پْرارْتھَناسُ چَ مَنَحسَںیوگَں کرِتْواتِشْٹھَنْ۔
43 Fear came on every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.
پْریرِتَے رْناناپْرَکارَلَکْشَنیشُ مَہاشْچَرْیَّکَرْمَمَسُ چَ دَرْشِتیشُ سَرْوَّلوکاناں بھَیَمُپَسْتھِتَں۔
44 All who believed were together, and had all things in common.
وِشْواسَکارِنَح سَرْوَّ چَ سَہَ تِشْٹھَنَتَح۔ سْویشاں سَرْوّاح سَمْپَتِّیح سادھارَنْیینَ سْتھاپَیِتْوابھُنْجَتَ۔
45 They sold their possessions and goods, and distributed them to all, according as anyone had need.
پھَلَتو گرِہانِ دْرَوْیانِ چَ سَرْوّانِ وِکْرِییَ سَرْوّیشاں سْوَسْوَپْرَیوجَنانُسارینَ وِبھَجْیَ سَرْوّیبھْیودَدَنْ۔
46 Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart,
سَرْوَّ ایکَچِتِّیبھُویَ دِنے دِنے مَنْدِرے سَنْتِشْٹھَمانا گرِہے گرِہے چَ پُوپانَبھَنْجَنْتَ اِیشْوَرَسْیَ دھَنْیَوادَں کُرْوَّنْتو لوکَیح سَمادرِتاح پَرَمانَنْدینَ سَرَلانْتَحکَرَنینَ بھوجَنَں پانَنْچَکُرْوَّنْ۔
47 praising God, and having favor with all the people. The Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
پَرَمیشْوَرو دِنے دِنے پَرِتْرانَبھاجَنَے رْمَنْڈَلِیمْ اَوَرْدّھَیَتْ۔
