< 2 Timothy 3 >
1 But know this, that in the last days terrible times will come.
Rendreho te ho tondroke an-tsa sehanga’e añe ty hasotriañe.
2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Le ho mpikoko-teña naho mpitea vola ondatio, hibohaboha, hirengevoke, hiteratera, hanjehatse roae, tsy hañandriañe, tsy ho aman-kasy,
3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, hateful of good,
tsy ho aman-katea, tsy handrae raven-de, ho mpañinje, tsy maha-lie-batañe, tsy mirèke, mpalain-kasoa,
4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;
mpifotetse, mpanao ty tsy nahi’e, mpiebotsebotse, mpitea ty mahafalefale fe tsy mpikoko an’ Andrianañahare,
5 holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof. Turn away from these, also.
misare te aman-Kake f’ie mandietse ty haozara’e. Iholiaro!
6 For among them are those who crawl into households and take captive weak-willed women weighed down with sins, led away by various passions and pleasures,
Am’ iereo ty mipiapia an-kivoho ao hitsepake ty rakemba seretse milogologo hakeo naho aviovio’ ty drao raty,
7 always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
nainai’e mioke, fa le lia’e tsy maharendreke ty hatò.
8 Even as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so do these also oppose the truth; people corrupted in mind, disapproved concerning the faith.
Hambañe amy nitambolitritria’ i Jana naho i Jambra i Mosèy, ty andiera’ iretia ty hatò; ondaty maleo-betsevetse; zoeñe koake tsy amam-patokisañe.
9 But they will proceed no further. For their folly will be evident to all, as theirs also was.
Tsy hiraorao, fa halange amy màroy t’ie tsivokatse, manahake ty nizoeñe amy nitsaraeñe rey.
10 But you did follow my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, steadfastness,
F’ie nañorike i fañòhakoy, ty satan-kaveloko, ty firefeako, ty fatokisako, ty fifeahako, ty fikokoako, ty fahaliñisako,
11 persecutions, and sufferings: those things that happened to me at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. I endured those persecutions. Out of them all the Lord delivered me.
ty fampisoañañe, ty faloviloviañe manahake i nitendreke amako e Antioka naho e Ikonioma naho e Listra añe rezay—Akore o samporerahañe nifeahakoo, fe rinomba’ i Talè amy iabiy.
12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
Eka, toe fonga ho samporeraheñe ze te hañorike i Hake am’ Iesoà Norizañey,
13 But evil people and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.
fe hiharaty avao ondaty lo-tserekeo naho o mpamorekeo; mamañahy mbore ifañahiañe.
14 But you remain in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them.
Ihe ka, toloño o nioha’o naho niantofa’oo, fohiñe o nandrendreha’o azeo,
15 From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus.
naho te nifohi’o boak’ amy naha’ ajaja azoy o Sokitse Masiñe mete mampahihitseo, hitaoñe azo mb’ am-pandrombahañe t’ie miato am’ Iesoà Norizañey.
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
Nikofòn’ Añahare ze hene Sokitse Masiñe, le mahasoa ami’ty fañòhañe, fañendahañe, fañitiañe vaho fanoroan-kavantañañe,
17 that the person of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
hahafonirañe ondatin’ Añahareo ho veka’e amy ze fitoloñan-tsoa iaby.
