< 2 Corinthians 8 >
1 Moreover, brothers, we make known to you the grace of God which has been given in the churches of Macedonia;
To koro jowetewa wadwaro ni ungʼe gima ngʼwono mar Nyasaye osetimo ni kanisa man Makedonia.
2 how that in much proof of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded to the riches of their liberality.
Kata obedo ni giseneno malit mokalo pimo, kendo gidhier ahinya kamano, to mago osemiyo gimedo bedo mamor moloyo, kendo chiwogi mar ngʼwono osemedore mokalo pimo.
3 For according to their power, I testify, yes and beyond their power, they gave of their own accord,
Anyisou adier ni negichiwo kaka ginyalo, kendo moloyo kar tekregi, maonge achuna.
4 begging us with much entreaty to receive this grace and the fellowship in the service to the saints.
Ne gisayowa ka giramo ni gin bende nyaka gichiw makorgi kuom konyo jo-Nyasaye.
5 This was not as we had hoped, but first they gave their own selves to the Lord, and to us through the will of God.
Negichiwo mathoth moloyo kaka ne waparo! Mokwongo negichiwore ni Ruoth; eka bangʼe gichiwore ni wan bende, kaka Nyasaye dwaro.
6 So we urged Titus, that as he made a beginning before, so he would also complete in you this grace.
Omiyo ne wajiwo Tito, kaka en ema nochako tijni e dieru, mondo odhi kode nyime nyaka chop otiek tij ngʼwonono.
7 But as you abound in everything, in faith, utterance, knowledge, all earnestness, and in the love from us that is in you, see that you also abound in this grace.
To ka umewo mokalo e gik moko duto ma un-go, kaka: yie maru, gi losou, gi ngʼeyou, gi ikruok maru mar konyo, kod hera muherowago; koro wadwaro ni tij ngʼwononi mar chiwo bende utimie maber moloyo.
8 I speak not by way of commandment, but as proving through the earnestness of others the sincerity also of your love.
Ok amiu chik kuom wachni, to anyisou kaka joma oikore konyo tich Nyasaye mondo atemgo herau ka bende en hera madier.
9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.
Nikech ungʼeyo ngʼwono mar Ruodhwa Yesu Kristo kaka chal, ni kata obedo ni ne en gi mwandu, to nodoko modhier, nikech un, mondo un ubed jo-mwandu nikech dhierneno.
10 I give a judgment in this: for this is expedient for you, who were the first to start a year ago, not only to do, but also to be willing.
Koro ma e paro ma an-go kuom wachni: Sani koro ber mondo utiek tich mane uchako higa mokalo. Un ema ne uchako tijni mokwongo, ok nukwongo chako choko kende, to nukwongo bedo gi dwaro mar chiwo giu bende.
11 But now complete the doing also, that as there was the readiness to be willing, so there may be the completion also out of your ability.
Omiyo koro dhiuru nyime gi tijno nyaka utieke! Beduru gi ikruok mar tieke mana kaka nubedo gi chenro mar chake, to timuru kamano mana gi giu maun-go.
12 For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what you have, not according to what you do not have.
Nikech un gidwaro mar chiwo, to Nyasaye biro rwako chiwono kaluwore gi gik maun-go munyalo chiwo, to ok gik muongego.
13 For this is not that others may be eased and you distressed,
Dwarowa ok en mondo jomoko odongʼ gi tingʼ mayot, to un wamiu tingʼ mapek, to dwarowa en ni ji duto ochiw maromre.
14 but for equality. Your abundance at this present time supplies their lack, that their abundance also may become a supply for your lack; that there may be equality.
Kaka un gi gik mogundho e kindeni, ber mondo ukony jogo mochando mondo gin bende gibi gikonyu ka gin-go mogundho. Kamano otimore to ubiro bedo gi konyruok maromre,
15 As it is written, "He who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack."
mana kaka ondiki niya, “Ngʼat mane ochoko mangʼeny ok ne nigi mangʼeny bende ngʼat mane ochoko matin, ok ne nigi matin ahinya.”
16 But thanks be to God, who puts the same earnest care for you into the heart of Titus.
Adwoko erokamano ni Nyasaye moseketo, e chuny Tito, dwaro mar konyou, mana kaka an bende an-go.
17 For he indeed accepted our exhortation, but being himself very earnest, he went out to you of his own accord.
Ne ok orwako mana kwayowa kende, to ne ochiwore kende en owuon mar konyou, mi koro ero obiro iru kuom dwarone owuon.
18 We have sent together with him the brother whose praise in the Good News is known through all the churches.
To bende waoro owadwa moro kode, mongʼere e kanisni duto nikech tije mar lando Injili.
19 Not only so, but who was also appointed by the churches to travel with us in this grace, which is served by us to the glory of the Lord himself, and to show our readiness.
To ok mano kende, kanisa noyiere mondo odhi kodwa e wuodhwa mar tero chiwo. Tijno watimo mondo wami Ruoth owuon duongʼ kendo mondo ji ongʼe ni waikore konyo.
20 We are avoiding this, that no one should blame us concerning this abundance which is administered by us.
Wadwaro mondo ji kik ne rach moro e yo mwatiye tij mich mar ngʼwononi.
21 For we have regard for what is honorable, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of others.
Nikech watemo matek mondo watim maber, ok e wangʼ Ruoth kende, to e wangʼ dhano bende.
22 We have sent with them our brother, whom we have many times proved earnest in many things, but now much more earnest, by reason of the great confidence which he has in you.
Ngʼat machielo mwaoro kodgi en owadwa mwasetemo mwaneno ni en ngʼama ochiwore ni tije mangʼeny, to sani koro ochiwore moloyo nikech gen mogenougo.
23 As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker for you. As for our brothers, they are apostles of the churches, the glory of Christ.
Tito to anyalo wuoyo kuome kaka ngʼat mwagenorego kendo jatich mwatiyogo kaachiel e dieru, to jowetewa mamokogo to gin joma kanisa ooro, mondo omi Kristo duongʼ.
24 Therefore show the proof of your love to them in front of the churches, and of our boasting about you.
Omiyo nyisuru jootewago ni un joma ohero ji, mondo kanisni duto ongʼe ni mor ma wan godo kuomu ok en mor manono.
