< 2 Chronicles 30 >
1 Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the Passover to the LORD, the God of Israel.
Hesekiah sì ránṣẹ́ sí gbogbo Israẹli àti Juda, ó sì kọ ìwé sí Efraimu àti Manase, kí wọn kí ó wá sínú ilé Olúwa ní Jerusalẹmu láti pa àjọ ìrékọjá mọ́ sí Olúwa Ọlọ́run Israẹli.
2 For the king had taken counsel, and his officials, and all the assembly in Jerusalem, to keep the Passover in the second month.
Nítorí tí ọba ti gbìmọ̀ àti àwọn ìjòyè rẹ̀, àti gbogbo ìjọ ènìyàn ní Jerusalẹmu, láti pa àjọ ìrékọjá mọ́ ní oṣù kejì.
3 For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves in sufficient number, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.
Nítorí wọn kò lè pa á mọ́ ní àkókò náà, nítorí àwọn àlùfáà kò tí i ya ara wọn sí mímọ́ tó; bẹ́ẹ̀ ni àwọn ènìyàn kò tí ì kó ara wọn jọ sí Jerusalẹmu.
4 The thing was right in the eyes of the king and of all the assembly.
Ọ̀rọ̀ náà sí tọ́ lójú ọba àti lójú gbogbo ìjọ ènìyàn.
5 So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the Passover to the LORD, the God of Israel, at Jerusalem: for they had not kept it in great numbers in such sort as it is written.
Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni wọ́n fi àṣẹ kan lélẹ̀, láti kéde ká gbogbo Israẹli láti Beerṣeba àní títí dé Dani, láti wá pa àjọ ìrékọjá mọ́ sí Olúwa Ọlọ́run Israẹli ní Jerusalẹmu: nítorí wọn kò pa á mọ́ ní ọjọ́ púpọ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ bí a ti kọ ọ́.
6 So the couriers went with the letters from the king and his officers throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, "children of Israel, turn again to the LORD, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, that he may return to the remnant of you who have escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
Bẹ́ẹ̀ àwọn oníṣẹ́ tí ń sáré lọ pẹ̀lú ìwé láti ọwọ́ ọba àti àwọn ìjòyè rẹ̀ sí gbogbo Israẹli àti Juda; àti gẹ́gẹ́ bí àṣẹ ọba, wí pé, “Ẹ̀yin ọmọ Israẹli ẹ yí padà sí Olúwa Ọlọ́run Abrahamu, Isaaki, àti Israẹli, òun ó sì yípadà sí àwọn ìyókù nínú yín, tí ó sálà kúrò lọ́wọ́ àwọn ọba Asiria.
7 Do not be like your fathers, and like your brothers, who trespassed against the LORD, the God of their fathers, so that he gave them up to desolation, as you see.
Kí ẹ̀yin kí ó má sì ṣe dàbí àwọn baba yín, àti bí àwọn arákùnrin yín tí ó dẹ́ṣẹ̀ sí Olúwa, Ọlọ́run àwọn baba wọn, nítorí náà ní ó ṣe fi wọ́n fún ìdahoro bí ẹ̀yin ti rí.
8 Now do not be stiff-necked, as your fathers were; but yield yourselves to the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he has sanctified forever, and serve the LORD your God, that his fierce anger may turn away from you.
Ǹjẹ́ kí ẹ̀yin kí ó má ṣe ṣe ọlọ́rùn líle, bí àwọn baba yín, ṣùgbọ́n ẹ jọ̀wọ́ ara yín lọ́wọ́ fún Olúwa, kí ẹ sì wọ inú ibi mímọ́ rẹ̀ lọ, ti òun ti ìyàsímímọ́ títí láé. Kí ẹ sì sin Olúwa, Ọlọ́run yín kí gbígbóná ìbínú rẹ̀ kí ó lè yípadà kúrò ní ọ̀dọ̀ yín.
9 For if you turn again to the LORD, your brothers and your children shall find compassion before those who led them captive, and shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if you return to him."
Nítorí bí ẹ̀yin bá tún yípadà sí Olúwa, àwọn arákùnrin yín, àti àwọn ọmọ yín, yóò rí àánú níwájú àwọn tí ó kó wọn ní ìgbèkùn lọ, kí wọn kí ó lè tún padà wá sí ilẹ̀ yí: nítorí Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín, oníyọnu àti aláàánú ni, kì yóò sì yí ojú rẹ̀ padà kúrò lọ́dọ̀ yín, bí ẹ̀yin bá padà sọ́dọ̀ rẹ̀.”
10 So the couriers passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, even to Zebulun: but they ridiculed them, and mocked them.
Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni àwọn oníṣẹ́ náà kọjá láti ìlú dé ìlú, ní ilẹ̀ Efraimu àti Manase títí dé Sebuluni, ṣùgbọ́n wọ́n fi wọ́n rẹ́rìn-ín ẹlẹ́yà, wọ́n sì gàn wọ́n.
11 Nevertheless some from Asher and from Manasseh and from Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.
Síbẹ̀ òmíràn nínú àwọn ènìyàn Aṣeri àti Manase àti Sebuluni rẹ̀ ara wọn sílẹ̀, wọ́n sì wá sí Jerusalẹmu.
12 Also in Judah came the hand of God to give them one heart, to do the commandment of the king and of the leaders by the word of the LORD.
Ní Juda pẹ̀lú, ọwọ́ Ọlọ́run wá láti fún wọn ní ọkàn kan láti pa òfin ọba mọ́ àti tí àwọn ìjòyè, nípa ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa.
13 Many people assembled at Jerusalem to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great assembly.
Ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ènìyàn sì péjọ ní Jerusalẹmu, láti pa àjọ àkàrà àìwú mọ́ ní oṣù kejì.
14 They arose and took away the altars that were in Jerusalem, and all the altars for incense took they away, and cast them into the Kidron Valley.
Wọ́n sì dìde, wọ́n sì kó gbogbo pẹpẹ tí ó wà ní Jerusalẹmu lọ, àti gbogbo pẹpẹ tùràrí ni wọ́n kó lọ, wọ́n sì dà wọ́n sí odò Kidironi.
15 Then they killed the Passover lamb on the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought burnt offerings into the house of the LORD.
Nígbà náà ni wọ́n pa ẹran ìrékọjá náà ní ọjọ́ kẹrìnlá oṣù kejì: ojú sì ti àwọn àlùfáà àti àwọn ọmọ Lefi, wọ́n sì yà ara wọn sí mímọ́, wọ́n sì mú ẹbọ sísun wá sínú ilé Olúwa.
16 They stood in their place after their order, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the priests sprinkled the blood which they received of the hand of the Levites.
Wọ́n sì dúró ní ipò wọn, bí ètò wọn gẹ́gẹ́ bí òfin Mose, ènìyàn Ọlọ́run: àwọn àlùfáà wọ́n ẹ̀jẹ̀ náà, tí wọ́n gbà lọ́wọ́ àwọn ọmọ Lefi.
17 For there were many in the assembly who had not sanctified themselves: therefore the Levites were in charge of killing the Passovers for everyone who was not clean, to sanctify them to the LORD.
Nítorí pé ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ni ó wà nínú ìjọ ènìyàn náà tí kò yà ara wọn sí mímọ́: nítorí náà ni àwọn ọmọ Lefi ṣe ń tọ́jú àti pa ẹran ìrékọjá fún olúkúlùkù ẹni tí ó ṣe aláìmọ́, láti yà á sí mímọ́ sí Olúwa.
18 For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim and Manasseh, Issachar and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover otherwise than it is written. For Hezekiah had prayed for them, saying, "May the good LORD pardon everyone
Ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ènìyàn, àní ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ nínú Efraimu àti Manase, Isakari, àti Sebuluni kò sá wẹ̀ ara wọn mọ́ síbẹ̀ wọ́n jẹ ìrékọjá náà, kì í ṣe gẹ́gẹ́ bí a ti kọ ọ́. Ṣùgbọ́n Hesekiah bẹ̀bẹ̀ fún wọn, wí pé, Olúwa, ẹni rere, dáríjì olúkúlùkù,

20 The LORD listened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.
Olúwa sì gbọ́ ti Hesekiah, ó sì mú àwọn ènìyàn náà láradá.
21 The children of Israel who were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness; and the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day, singing with loud instruments to the LORD.
Àwọn ọmọ Israẹli tí a rí ní Jerusalẹmu fi ayọ̀ ńlá pa àjọ àkàrà àìwú mọ́ ní ọjọ́ méje: àwọn ọmọ Lefi, àti àwọn àlùfáà yin Olúwa lójoojúmọ́, wọ́n ń fi ohun èlò olóhùn gooro kọrin sí Olúwa.
22 Hezekiah spoke comfortably to all the Levites who had good understanding in the service of the LORD. So they completed the seven days of the feast, offering sacrifices of peace offerings, and making confession to the LORD, the God of their fathers.
Hesekiah sọ̀rọ̀ ìtùnú fún gbogbo àwọn ọmọ Lefi, tí ó lóye ní ìmọ̀ rere Olúwa: ọjọ́ méje ni wọ́n fi jẹ àsè náà wọ́n rú ẹbọ àlàáfíà, wọ́n sì ń fi ohùn rara dúpẹ́ fún Olúwa, Ọlọ́run àwọn baba wọn.
23 The whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days; and they kept another seven days with gladness.
Gbogbo ìjọ náà sì gbìmọ̀ láti pa ọjọ́ méje mìíràn mọ́: wọ́n sì fi ayọ̀ pa ọjọ́ méje mìíràn mọ́.
24 For Hezekiah king of Judah gave to the assembly for offerings one thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep, and the leaders gave to the assembly a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep. And a great number of priests sanctified themselves.
25 All the assembly of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the assembly who came out of Israel, and the foreigners who came out of the land of Israel, and who lived in Judah, rejoiced.
Gbogbo ìjọ ènìyàn Juda pẹ̀lú àwọn àlùfáà àti àwọn ọmọ Lefi, àti gbogbo ìjọ ènìyàn tí ó ti inú Israẹli jáde wá, àti àwọn àjèjì tí ó ti ilẹ̀ Israẹli jáde wá, àti àwọn tí ń gbé Juda yọ̀.
26 So there was great joy in Jerusalem; for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem.
Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ayọ̀ ńlá sì wà ní Jerusalẹmu: nítorí láti ọjọ́ Solomoni, ọmọ Dafidi, ọba Israẹli, irú èyí kò sí ní Jerusalẹmu.
27 Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy habitation, even to heaven.
Nígbà náà ni àwọn àlùfáà, àwọn ọmọ Lefi dìde, wọ́n sì súre fún àwọn ènìyàn náà: a sì gbọ́ ohùn wọn, àdúrà wọn sì gòkè lọ si ibùgbé mímọ́ rẹ̀, àní sí ọ̀run.
