2 Chronicles 3
1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where he appeared to David his father, at the place that David had designated, on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
૧પછી સુલેમાને યરુશાલેમમાં મોરિયા પર્વત પર ઈશ્વરનું સભાસ્થાન બાંધવાની શરૂઆત કરી. ત્યાં તેના પિતા દાઉદને ઈશ્વરે દર્શન આપ્યું હતું. તેના પર જે જગ્યા દાઉદે યબૂસી ઓર્નાનની ઘઉં ઝૂડવાની ખળીમાં તૈયાર કરી હતી, ત્યાં ઈશ્વરનું સભાસ્થાન બાંધવાનો પ્રારંભ કર્યો.
2 And he began to build in the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
૨આ બાંધકામની શરૂઆત તેણે પોતાના શાસનના ચોથા વર્ષના બીજા માસના બીજા દિવસથી કરી.
3 Now these are the foundations which Solomon laid for the building of God's house. The length, using the former standard measure, was one hundred three feet and four inches, and the breadth was thirty-four feet and five inches, and its height was fifty-one feet and eight inches.
૩હવે સુલેમાન ઈશ્વરનું જે સભાસ્થાન બાંધવાનો હતો તેના પાયાનાં માપ આ પ્રમાણે હતાં. તેની લંબાઈ સાઠ હાથ તથા પહોળાઈ વીસ હાથ હતી.
4 The porch that was in front of the house was the same as the width of the house, thirty-four feet and five inches, and the depth was seventeen feet and three inches; and he overlaid it on the inside with pure gold.
૪સભાસ્થાનના આગળના દ્વારમંડપની લંબાઈ સભાસ્થાનની પહોળાઈ જેટલી વીસ હાથ હતી. તેની ઊંચાઈ પણ વીસ હાથ હતી અને સુલેમાને તેની અંદરના ભાગને શુદ્ધ સોનાથી મઢાવ્યો હતો.
5 The greater house he made a ceiling with fir wood, which he overlaid with fine gold, and ornamented it with palm trees and chains.
૫તેણે મોટા ઓરડાની અંદરની દીવાલોને દેવદારના પાટિયાં જડી દીધાં, તેમને શુદ્ધ સોનાથી મઢ્યાં અને તેમના ઉપર ખજૂરીઓ તથા સાંકળીઓ કોતરાવી.
6 He garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
૬તેણે સભાસ્થાનને મૂલ્યવાન રત્નોથી શણગાર્યું; એ સોનું પાર્વાઈમથી લાવવામાં આવ્યું હતું.
7 He overlaid also the house, the beams, the thresholds, and its walls, and its doors, with gold; and engraved cherubim on the walls.
૭વળી તેણે સભાસ્થાનના મોભને, તેના ઊમરાઓને, તેની દીવાલોને અને તેનાં બારણાંઓને સોનાથી મઢાવ્યાં; દિવાલો પર કરુબો કોતરાવ્યા.
8 He made the most holy house: its length, according to the breadth of the house, was thirty-four feet and five inches, and its breadth thirty-four feet and five inches; and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
૮તેણે પરમપવિત્રસ્થાન બનાવ્યું. તેનું માપ આ પ્રમાણે હતું: તેની લંબાઈ સભાસ્થાનની પહોળાઈ પ્રમાણે વીસ હાથ, પહોળાઈ પણ વીસ હાથ અને ઊંચાઈ વીસ હાથ હતી. તેણે તેને છસો તાલંત ચોખ્ખા સોનાથી મઢ્યું હતું.
9 The weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. He overlaid the upper rooms with gold.
૯સોનાના ખીલાઓનું વજન પચાસ શેકેલ હતું. તેણે ઉપરના ઓરડાઓને પણ સોનાથી મઢાવ્યા.
10 In the most holy house he made two cherubim of sculptured work; and he overlaid them with gold.
૧૦તેણે પરમપવિત્રસ્થાનને માટે બે કરુબોની કલાકૃતિઓ બનાવી; તેઓને ચોખ્ખા સોનાથી મઢાવ્યાં.
11 The wings of the cherubim were thirty-four feet and five inches: the wing of the one was eight feet and seven inches, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing was eight feet and seven inches, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
૧૧કરુબોની પાંખો વીસ હાથ લાંબી હતી; એક કરુબની એક પાંખ પાંચ હાથ લાંબી હતી, તે ફેલાઈને સભાસ્થાનની દીવાલ સુધી સ્પર્શતી હતી; બીજી પાંખ પણ પાંચ હાથ લાંબી હતી, તે પણ ફેલાઈને બીજા કરુબની પાંખને પહોંચતી હતી.
12 The wing of the other cherub was eight feet and seven inches, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing was eight feet and seven inches, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
૧૨એ જ પ્રમાણે બીજા કરુબની એક પાંખ ફેલાઈને સભાસ્થાનની બીજી દિવાલને સ્પર્શતી હતી; બીજી પાંખ પણ પાંચ હાથ લાંબી હતી, તે પહેલા કરુબની પાંખ સુધી પહોંચતી હતી.
13 The wings of these cherubim were extended thirty-four feet and five inches: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were toward the house.
૧૩આ પ્રમાણે કરુબોની પાંખો વીસ હાથ ફેલાયેલી હતી. કરુબો પોતાના પગો ઉપર ઊભા રહેલા અને તેઓનાં ચહેરા અંદરની બાજુએ હતા.
14 He made the veil of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and ornamented it with cherubim.
૧૪તેણે આસમાની, જાંબુડા, કિરમજી ઊનના અને લાલ રંગના શણના પડદા બનાવ્યા અને તેણે કરુબો બનાવ્યા.
15 Also he made before the house two pillars sixty feet and three inches high, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was eight feet and seven inches.
૧૫સુલેમાને સભાસ્થાન આગળ પાંત્રીસ હાથ ઊંચા બે સ્તંભ બનાવ્યા, દરેકની ટોચે કળશ મૂકાવ્યા હતા. તે પાંચ હાથ ઊંચા હતા.
16 He made chains in the inner sanctuary, and put them on the tops of the pillars; and he made one hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.
૧૬તેણે સાંકળો બનાવીને સ્તંભોની ટોચે કળશો પર મૂકી; તેણે સો દાડમો બનાવ્યાં અને તેને સાંકળો પર લટકાવ્યાં.
17 He set up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jakin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
૧૭તેણે તે સ્તંભો સભાસ્થાન આગળ ઊભા કર્યા, એક જમણે હાથે અને બીજો ડાબા હાથે; જમણા હાથ બાજુના સ્તંભનું નામ યાખીન સ્થાપના અને ડાબા હાથ બાજુના સ્તંભનું નામ બોઆઝ બળ રાખ્યું.
