< 1 Timothy 2 >
1 I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings, be made for all people:
Naizvozvo, pakutanga kwezvose, ndinokurayirai kuti vanhu vose vakumbirirwe, vanyengetererwe, varevererwe, vavongerwe,
2 for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.
madzimambo navose vari kutonga, kuti tigare norugare uye norunyararo pakurarama muumwari hwose nomuutsvene.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;
Izvi zvakanaka uye zvinofadza Mwari muponesi wedu.
4 who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.
Anoda kuti vanhu vose vaponeswe uye kuti vazive chokwadi.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and humanity, a human, Christ Jesus,
Nokuti kuna Mwari mumwe chete, nomurevereri mumwe chete pakati paMwari navanhu, ndiye munhu Kristu Jesu.
6 who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times;
Uyo akazvipa sorudzikinuro kuvanhu vose, uchapupu hwakapiwa panguva yakafanira.
7 to which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying), a teacher of the non-Jews in faith and truth.
Uye nokuda kwechikonzero ichi ndakaitwa muparidzi nomupostori, ndinokuudzai chokwadi, handisi kureva nhema, uye ndiri mudzidzisi wokutenda kwechokwadi kune veDzimwe Ndudzi.
8 I desire therefore that the men in every place pray, lifting up holy hands without anger and doubting.
Ndinoda kuti varume kwose kwose vasimudze maoko matsvene pakunyengetera, vasina kutsamwa kana nharo.
9 In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety; not just with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing;
Ndinodawo kuti vakadzi vapfeke zvakafanira, zvakanaka zvino kuzvidzora, kwete nebvudzi rakarukwa kana negoridhe kana namaperera kana nguo dzemari zhinji,
10 but (which becomes women professing godliness) with good works.
asi ngavave namabasa akanaka, sezvakafanira vakadzi vanoti vanonamata Mwari.
11 Let a woman learn in quietness with all subjection.
Mukadzi ngaadzidze akanyarara uye nokuzviisa pasi kwose.
12 But I do not permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.
Handitenderi kuti mukadzi adzidzise kana kuti ave nesimba pamusoro pomurume; anofanira kunyarara.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
Nokuti Adhamu ndiye akatanga kuumbwa, tevere Evha.
14 Adam was not deceived, but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into disobedience;
Uye Adhamu haasi iye akanyengerwa; mukadzi ndiye akanyengerwa akava mutadzi.
15 but she will be delivered through the childbirth, if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control.
Asi vakadzi vachaponeswa nokubereka vana kana vachirambira mukutenda, murudo noutsvene, uye nokuzvidzora.
