< 1 Timothy 2 >

1 I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings, be made for all people:
Iet me I men panaui maj: Komail nidinideki o kapakapki, o poekipoeki aramaj akan karoj, o wia danke.
2 for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.
Kapakapki nanmarki o jaumaj akan karoj, pwe jen meleilei o injamamau, wiawia me kon on Kot o mehlel.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;
Pwe I me mau o kon on atail Jaunkamaur Kot.
4 who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.
Me kotin men, aramaj akan karoj en dorela o lolekon kila melel.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and humanity, a human, Christ Jesus,
Pwe Kot me ta men o wilia patail me ta men pun en Kot o aramaj akan, iet Aramaj Krijtuj Iejuj.
6 who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times;
Me kotin wiala en aramaj karoj men pwaipwai, kadede en met, en lolok jili ni anjau me kon on.
7 to which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying), a teacher of the non-Jews in faith and truth.
I me i wia kila jaunkair o wanporon amen, i kin lokaia melel o jo likam, o jaunpadak on men liki kan ni pojon o melel.
8 I desire therefore that the men in every place pray, lifting up holy hands without anger and doubting.
I me i men, ol akan en kapakap ni waja karoj, ni ar pokada pa ar jaraui, jo makar o jo peikajal.
9 In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety; not just with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing;
Pil dueta li akan, ren kapwadeki likau makelekel o lelapok, o tiak mau, a kaidin ni inid pit en mona, de kold, de manaman akan, de likau linan,
10 but (which becomes women professing godliness) with good works.
A me kon on li akan, me men kajaleda ar majak Kot ni ar wiawia mau kan.
11 Let a woman learn in quietness with all subjection.
Li akan en nenenla, ap padapadakki ni tiak en impimpai.
12 But I do not permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.
I jota mueid on li amen, en wiada padak, de kaunda ol, a en nenenla.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
Pwe Adam me wiauier maj, a muri Ewa.
14 Adam was not deceived, but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into disobedience;
A kaidin Adam, me katiamaula, a li o me katiamaular, ap pupedi ni me japun.
15 but she will be delivered through the childbirth, if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control.
A a pan dorela ni a naitik ma a pan podidi on pojon, o limpok, o jaraui, o tiak mau.
