< 1 Corinthians 5 >

1 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even among the nations, that one has his father's wife.
2 You are puffed up, and did not rather mourn, that he who had done this deed might be removed from among you.
Pea ʻoku mou anga fakafiefielahi, kae ʻikai te mou mamahi muʻa, koeʻuhi ko ia kuo ne fai ʻae meʻa ni, ke tukuange ia ʻiate kimoutolu.
3 For I most certainly, as being absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as though I were present, judged him who has done this thing.
He ko e moʻoni, ko au ʻoku ou mamaʻo ʻi he sino, ka ʻoku ou ʻi ai ʻi he laumālie, kuo u fakamaauʻi ʻaia naʻe fai ʻae ngāue ni, ʻo hangē kuo u ʻi ai,
4 In the name of our Lord Jesus, you being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus,
‌ʻI hoʻomou fakataha ʻi he huafa ʻo hotau ʻEiki ko Sisu Kalaisi, mo hoku laumālie, mo e mālohi ʻa hotau ʻEiki ko Sisu Kalaisi.
5 are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.
Ke tukuange ʻae tokotaha pehē kia Sētane ke maumau ai ʻae sino, kae fakamoʻui ʻae laumālie ʻi he ʻaho ʻoe ʻEiki ko Sisu.
6 Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?
Ko hoʻomou vikiviki ʻoku ʻikai lelei. ʻIkai ʻoku mou ʻilo “Ko e meʻa fakatupu siʻi ʻoku ne fakatupuʻi ʻae takaonga kotoa?”
7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed for us.
Ko ia ke tafi kituʻa ʻae meʻa fakatupu motuʻa, koeʻuhi ʻi he ʻikai ha meʻa fakatupu ʻiate kimoutolu, ke mou hoko ko e takaonga foʻou. He ko Kalaisi ko ho tau [feilaulau ʻoe ]Lakaatu, kuo hifo ʻaki maʻatautolu.
8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Ko ia ke tau fai ʻae kātoanga, kae ʻikai ʻi he meʻa fakatupu motuʻa, pe ʻi he ʻi meʻa fakatupu ʻoe fakafasifasi mo e angahala; ka ʻi he [mā ]taʻemeʻafakatupu ʻoe angatonu mo e moʻoni.
9 I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners;
Kuo u tohi ʻi he tohi kiate kimoutolu, ke ʻoua naʻa mou fakataha mo e kau feʻauaki:
10 yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortioners, or with idolaters; for then you would have to leave the world.
Ka ʻoku ʻikai ko e pehē pe, ki he kau feʻauaki ʻoe māmani, pe ko e kau manumanu, pe ko e kau fakamālohi, pe ko e kau tauhi tamapua; he ka ne pehē, tā te mou ʻalu pe ʻi he māmani.
11 But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner. Do not even eat with such a person.
12 For what have I to do with also judging those who are outside? Do you not judge those who are within?
He ko hai au ke u fakamaau ʻakinautolu ʻoku ʻi tuaʻā? ʻIkai ʻoku mou fakamaau ʻakinautolu ʻoku ʻi lotoʻā pe?
13 But those who are outside, God judges. "Put away the wicked man from among yourselves."
Ka ko kinautolu ʻoku ʻi tuaʻā ʻoku fakamaauʻi ʻe he ʻOtua. Ko ia ke “tukuange ʻiate kimoutolu ʻae tangata angahala ko ia.”
